I feel like a kid in a candy store...oh wait I am in a candy store!
This place keeps it "old school" and carry candy from yesteryear. They have everything from Atomic Fire Balls to Sixlets. Unlike another competitor of theirs (i.e. Dylan's Candy Bar) this place does not mark up there merchandise. The shop is fairly small and can be easily missed by other frequent sweet shops such as Swirll and Chocolate Bar. They carry all sort of fun gift ideas such as boxes of chocolates, gift baskets, and fun little odds and ends.
So whether you want nostalgic candy bar or imported chocolates from Belgian, this place has it all.
There is a whole other world of candy not conveniently sold at your local grocery store. The door to Candylicious is actually the door to a time machine. Candylicious will bring out the kid in you. Worries fade away as your curiousity and interest is stimulated by the sights and smells.
Chocolate flavored lip balm, a 6 pack of "candy soda", after-rapture mints, and so many other unique treats can be found in this sugar oasis. Sweet or tart, there is something for everyone.
You'll hear me stifling laughs over the clever humourous lines in the anti-religious/vulgar candy section. I am totally reaping the benefits from the "Wash Away your Sins Lip Balm."
You don't have to be a celebrity to have M&Ms of one color. This special request can be fulfilled easily. Candylicious is so delicious that Fergolicious Fergy would chose this place for her bowl of green M&Ms. Once you visit Candylicious. You'll be sure to leave singing...
"Candy...
Oh, sugar sugar
You are my candy store,
and you got me craving you."
This is a great store to go gift shopping on a budget. Really cute little goodies that can appeal to everybody. They also do really neat-looking candy bouquets that look like cakes.
It's especially fun around Halloween (for gag gifts) and Christmas (for stocking stuffers).
This location is a bit smaller than the one on Alabama, but every bit as sweet. Candy practically bursts from this store - themed candy gift baskets for any occasion (and nearly any theme), candy you never knew existed, and candy you will never forget. They also offer a selection of cards and a few cute non-candy gifts. I'm definitely considering something from here for my sugar-addicted co-worker's next birthday.
Warning: just inhaling in this store gives you a bit of a sugar high.
