. This place is campy to the max.  They call your waiter, you camp counselor.  How sweet, almost sickly so.  Ok now the important part, how the food, well it good really good.  I had a cup of there clam chowder, which has big chunks of clams and potatoes.  Their menu is heavy on side of seafood, but the steak I had was tasty.  But, I would say that the really reason to eat here, not to be missed is the desert.  I  would never, could never miss having the Dirty Snowball.

So all in all the deal is this; from my point of view, ask for table in front of the fireplace.  Enjoy the interesting Northwood's camp decor, and have desert.

This such a fun restaurant. You walk in and feel like you're camping in a cabin in the middle of the woods. The food is appropriate with the theme also. Camp Crackers as an appetizer, cheesy flat-bread served on a wooden plank. Their desserts were always my favorite, smores and snowballs.... YUM! Prices are reasonable considering the quality of food and service that you are receiving! Stop in here if you're up in Meredith!
