I have been taking my kitty to Dr Venner for years.  He is very kind and gentle and loves animals.  His office staff has never been anything but nice and proffesional.  I have friends who were taking their dogs to Dr. Venner when he first opened up the business and they swore they would go no place else.  When it was time to put one of the dogs down, Dr Venner actually went to their home.  Vet's are all expensive if you ask me and while $$$ can be an issue I agree, Dr Venner is still someone I would take my pets too.

Called to get an estimate on a yearly checkup, shots, etc.
The woman who answered the phone was terribly rude and unhelpful.  Maybe she just had a bad day - still that's no excuse.

Only took off a star for the RUDE RUDE RUDE staff.  Horrible women.  Perhaps angry/jealous of the wealthy clientle -- perhaps just hate their lives. Who knows.  They should be fired.   And so many clients discuss this -- why does the Vet let these people act this way? Does he not know?

Now, on to the good stuff -- Dr. V is the best.  Smart and loves animals.  Steel yourself for the dreadful front office and take your dog there now.

Great care, but completely over priced. Never fails when we (my family and friends) take our pets in, it's $450. Seriously, no matter what it is. They are also x-ray "happy" and everything you ask about needs an x-ray. The staff is very friendly and the Vets are good, but I'm leaving the practice because it's just ridiculous to pay such high prices for regular check-ups.
