Love this miniature golfing place. It's almost magical how awesome the course is even if it was the 'easy' course. I can't imagine how much better the other ones are! With 5 different courses with varying difficulty, you are bound to find one that you will enjoy.

The workers are nice and the place is pretty laid back and the pricing is decent. The other customers are pretty laid back too, I haven't heard any moaning or groaning from anyone so thats a big plus.

This place has a really good mini golf coarse. The time I went they only had 2 courses open of what I  believe were 6. The one we went on was pretty difficult, I can only imagine what the hard courses are like.

I surprised myself on how many hole in ones I got. Than again I surprised myself on how many +7 I got also.

Its fun if you put a wager down, just to make the game a little more interesting, also if you pregame it, I think you mini golf better if you do.

    Freaking awesome.

    1. Best Mini Golf Courses in Orange County (5 courses varying between beginners to advanced). It makes Boomers golf courses look like a crappy merry go round you find outside of supermarkets.

    2. They have everything for everyone-- arcade games, laser tag, mini golf, arcade food that reminds you of the good ol' days when the power rangers were cool and when ninja turtles ruled the world

    3. They have prizes like a Kindle or a Nintendo DS for addicting ass games like Stacker of which my girlfriend and I spent over 60 bucks to win. Evil games...60 times to win...but DAMN DID IT FEEL GOOD.

    4. They have badass milkshakes called "Icebergs" that aren't really milkshakes but more like old school ice cream in large slurpee cups with a cheap sprinkling of chocolate over it and of which you can only eat 1/5 of it because there's so damn much.

    5. It brings back the good ol days when global warming wasn't an issue.

GO HERE! Gonna go enjoy my kindle now!

I came here last Friday night for a game of mini-golf. We probably were the oldest ones there, but we didn't care. It was fun being there hitting the ball all over the place. This place really has not changed much since my HS days....made for great conversation! Overall, we had a good time....even though I think he let me win!! haha!

Course 2 is really Effing hard. But also, REALLY FUN!  It IS labeled as hard.  But we, being in our early 20's figured we'd had enough experience to accomplish a "hard course"  WRONG.  There is seriously a hole with a jump over water (mine so fell in).  It says it is $5 to park, but its not if you are planning on not creeping around and actually came to enjoy the arcade, lazertag, or golf.  The $5 gives you a coupon toward $5 of golf, games, etc.  Its basically just a collateral to keep out the loiterers.

Golf was fun!  Between Halloween and Christmas, the freeway edge of the course is lit up with decorative lights and it gives it a special touch.  The only con is it IS right next to the freeway, so its hard to talk over some of the holes.

Golf is only $6 Monday nights from 4pm to 10pm.  They close at 10.
On Saturdays they are open until 12 Midnight, and will stop golf sales at 11.

I've been here twice and have no complaints. We came early on a Saturday morning for unlimited golf, vid games and laser tag. Laser tag wasn' t really my thing, but still had fun! The pizza parlor also made hot, fresh pizza when we were there...DELICIOUS, btw!

Came here multiple times for mini golf but never the arcade so this is a somewhat late review of what matters to me.

Just a side note the arcade would be 2 stars while the mini golf would be 5 stars.

The mini golf is great as everyone else says, there are many courses and you can easily get in lots of games.

The arcade was A-OK nothing special nothing that stood out.

They had Midnight Maximum Tune (Wangan) 3dx+, but sadly they don't have cards.  NOR could you play versus against the person sitting next to you.  For some reason those machines were split up.

For fighting games they had Street fighter 3, 2 (Turbo), Marvel vs Capcom 1, and 2.  And a few others

For shooting games they had terminator, time crisis, and house of the dead.  Not really into shooting games so I can't really name them all.

Overall the mini golf was worth the money of course but if you are coming for the arcade think twice.  If your looking for new games such as Super Street Fighter 4 Arcade Edition, Marvel Vs Capcom 3, Tekken 6 they don't have it.  If you just want to play Wangan against your friends, don't count on it.  Their selection is alright if you don't mind old school games.

I've been here a couple of times and it's pretty cool.  It's a cool place for families with children and a really cool date night place.

They have a few different golf courses you can follow and they're really a lot of fun.  Only a couple of times did we have to wait for the people ahead of us but no problem.

There were plenty of games inside for kids of all ages.  I haven't played them so can't even tell you the average price for them.

It's a pretty cool place...just don't go after it's drizzled in the morning and the afternoon is in the 90s...the humidity outside is GROSS!! lol

    BEST MINI-GOLF COURSE IN OC!

Not sure if that's what were known for or anything but man this was so much fun! $12 combo for tokens, golf, and laser "joust"...we were only going against each other but it gave it a much more suspenseful edge.

Mini-Golf course is in great shape, really fun and intricate courses. You can sneak in a few extra games if you are careful of their highly trained/paid golf guards...careful they are ninjas ;)

Every time we've been here, my boyfriend and I always come out in a good mood, not broke, and panting from laser "joust"

An execellent place to bring the family or a last minute date plan. Usually dead on weeknights, which makes it more intimate if you'r on a date.

5 courses for all levels. Creative set up. They have laser tag as well. A variety of arcade games (some are broken and it's just there collecting dust.) The eats is alright too.

Kids of every age come in to have a good time. Alot of the time the teens are usually high or drunk, but they don't bother anyone. They're just here to either kill time or sober up.

Only problem is the employees. Could they look anymore miserable? They give off a bad vibe. That's why I'm only giving 3 stars.

We went here on Mother's Day - Sunday afternoon.  It was fun.  It wasn't crowded.  There were 5 different courses to choose from with varying levels of difficulty.  The price was reasonable - about $8 per person and parking was free.
Everything was clean and in working order.

I have only been to this place to mini golf with friends. Its pretty inexpensive and never to busy..just during the summer.

The crowd isn't ghetto which is a good thing. Mostly teenagers.
They have there own parking lot and it's very easy to find parking.

Will only review the miniature golf here.

Got there on Mother's Day Sunday afternoon.  Not a lot of people...which was great.  No charge for parking...however, some people have said they paid for parking before.

Showed up with a 4 year old.  She was free.  General admission is $7+.

Thoroughly enjoyed the 18 holes.  We were quite noisy hootin', hollerin', and high fivein'.  We almost hit the security guard with a golf ball but he was cool about it.  The golf courses were in good condition.  Hit the golf ball a couple of times in the little ponds.  Little 4 year old cheatin' the whole way.

The easy course was fun.  T'was scared that it would have a total ghetto feel, but there were a lot of families with little munchkins that their parents kept an eye on and some cheesy datesy couples.  Oh, I don't oppose couples on dates, just the cheesy ones.

It smells bad, the bordering 91 freeway makes it noisy, and the staff kicked everyone out 90 minutes early to take off early, I suppose. There was no specific reason for this, so I felt like I did not get my money's worth (only completed 11 out of 16 courses because I assumed I would be able to finish before the OFFICIAL closing time).

FAVORITE: Their interesting golf courses (mazes)
BEWARE: parking is $5, even though its redeemable inside, i think its stupid & its kind of hard to find its the first street after turning on la palma

This weekend i came here on a double date to play some mini golf and i was very impressed with everything that they had... they had five different courses each labeled with various levels. A game only cost $8 which i think is a steal compared to some other places that i've been to!!

after a game of mini golf we decided to take up camelot on their additional $4 laser tag (if you play golf) deal. the only downside to this is that i came in last place and MAN COULD THEY USE SOME VENTILATION UP IN THERE!!! haha otherwise the inside is huge and you get 10 mins or so of play!!

i didn't get the chance to check out their arcade games, but they looked like normal games. another thing i wanted to try is this mini bowling thing they have, which seemed to be priced at $2 for 5 frames and $3something for 10 frames!!

all in all a decent experience....

    GREAT PLACE FOR CHURCH GROUPS,
or any type of group actually. Because we had a group of 10+ we were able to get a group discount.

Their SERVICE WAS REALLY GOOD.  I had no problem calling their main number and getting someone on the phone to help me.  Their service on the day of was also great.

HUGE PLACE, a lot of my group commented on how big Camelot is.

The COURSES are also very INTRICATE

The CLEANliness is also a plus.

The only DOWNSIDE is that it's behind a strawberry field and A BIT HARD TO FIND

Overall we had a GREAT EXPERIENCE and would go back again.

    Went to Camelot Golfland today
with nine 6th graders kids and we had a blast~!!

Since we were group of 10
we were eligible for group discount.

2 Lazer Tag Games (20 min each)
    1 Mini-Golf (18 courses - takes about 1 hr 30 to 2 hr)
    6 Arcade Tokens

All this for $15 per person (Tax included)
We arrived at 2 and had to leave around 5:45
And kids wanted to stay longer to play more

    For dinner I ordered:
    1 Large Cheese Pizza (16 slices) - $14.75 + tax
    1 Large Works Pizza (16 slices) - $21.50 + tax
2 Pitcher of Soda - $10.88 including tax

Fed 6 Hungry Boys (including me) and 4 Hungry Girls
and still had 3 slices of pizza left.

Great Quality Time for a Great Value!!

This review is for the mini golf only; I haven't tried any of their food/other attractions.

It was only about 8 bucks per person for a game, and the second round was only half that price. It made for a really fun and cheap date! The weather was great, it wasn't crowded, and they had some pretty elaborate holes. I enjoyed the decorations and the different challenges! I'm only giving it three stars, as opposed to four, because in one of the holes with some water obstacles, there was a floating dead squirrel/bird.

But other than that, my bf and I had so much fun goofing around and trying to get hole in ones. I would come here more often if it was closer to where I lived.

Went here late night weekday once and it was fairly empty. I would hate to be at golfland when it's packed because I wouldn't want to wait for other golfers to put the damn ball in the hole! I think my friend and I took about 20x to shoot the ball...In the end, we both just cheated. We ended up just taking hella pictures instead. lol :) Fun place to be on a random spontaneous night :)

This is probably one of the funnest arcades in OC. I enjoyed coming here to play with my friends and family. I didn't go there for long time until a couple weeks ago. Unfortunately I didn't go in cause now they charge $5 to park! It didn't use to be like that before. Seems like they're really getting the money out of their customers now :(. I don't know if they charge for parking everyday but I went on the weekend, still sucks that they do that now.
Overall from my previous experiences it was a fun place to go.

WOW is all i can say about this place!!!! Its clean, well kept and people were friendly!! This place is wayyy better then BOOMERS. Prices are cheapier. Except why are we made to pay 5.00 for parking =/  oh well at least you can use the parking ticket towards golf, lazer tag or food....
Played two rounds of golf which was fun!!! No employee's out on the course to watch what people are doing.. So that means lots of random fun with friends!!
Place gets an A+ for smelling good inside and not having that kiddie/stale air smell that Boomers has... Plently of the latest arcade games and all in very good condition too..

My first impression was, "A round of mini golf and a take at the arcade brings me back to easy ways to have fun when I was younger."

Think back on those days when you didn't need anything in any one of these categories to have fun: getting-crunk, brand-new, high-priced, or life-threatening. All you needed was a few bucks, some time, and a group of friends that would agree to go hit some golf balls through cheesy, but cute obstacle courses.

Camelot has some good obstacle courses that actually last quite some time to complete. You can take a date, your little cousins, or a group of friends, but it's that something about being out on a warm Summer night in dimmed lights. It's sort of calming and the walk around the course is really fun, or just an excuse to be a tourist and take pictures. Then a few minutes later in the arcade...you're surrounded by a rowdy noise of arcade machines and crowds of people and before you know it, you're re-living those DDR days. The prices are reasonable, the facilities are clean and well maintained, and the service is friendly. So take a chance at a simple, random, adventure to Camelot. And don't worry about age requirements...if your back is still working properly enough for you to putt and play guitar hero, then you're still young enough to mini-golf so take advantage of it while you can!

The lasting impression? "You won't need to break your back, or your wallet."

I have been coming to Camelot since I was a kid. My friends and I would come here every Saturday morning and for a low price you could play all of the games you want until noon! It was awesome!

In recent years my friends and I kick it at Camelot when we don't have a lot of money to go spend it at nicer arcades (aimed towards adults). It's still fun to go.

The food at Camelot is alright. It's kind of your typical amusement/arcade type of food. It isn't bad, it isn't great, but it's enough to help you get through your day. Plus, it's great and convenient to fill a large party.

The arcade machines here are alright. Camelot is steady updating their machines. They might not be the latest and greatest arcade machines out there but they have the basics; from fighting games to shooting games to beat media games. My friends and I usually go for the Dance Dance Revolution machine. They have DDR Supernova now instead of Max 2 and they still have an old Disney DDR machine in the back. Also, their DJ Max Technika 2 machine is great and less expensive to play than at places such as Round 1.

A lot of the machines could use a good fixing though. Their maintenance on their machines aren't so great - especially since there are more children running around this place who don't really know how to treat the machine right. And certain machines just needs to be cleaned. I really can't stand touching a joystick or any controller that felt like it has collected over several years of sweat.

The thing Camelot seems to be known for the most is their miniature golf course. Honestly, it's the best miniature golf course in orange county. It's definitely great for dates and group hang out.

Overall Camelot is always a good fun. Could use some improvements, but it's like that for everyone.

We had two free rounds of miniature golf.  We went on Friday afternoon, pretty good choice because there weren't very many people.

The courses are fun. We played course 1 and all the fun holes on hard course.  Kinda disappointed that there weren't very many holes with moving parts.

Not sure if we'll go back if we had to pay full price.

3 stars for value / 2 stars for facility & cleanliness.

My fiancee and I came here to take a break from studying on a Sunday afternoon. Because it was cool outside, there weren't many people playing mini-golf. The place itself is obviously trying to be a paradise for kids- arcade, water slides, laser tag, and mini-golf. I can see how awesome it was 20 years ago (if it existed then) - now it's rundown and dirty - It doesn't seem like they've done any maintenance on the place in recent years. We played a round of mini-golf and then went over and played 3/4 of another course since there weren't many people and no one monitors whether you stick to one course or more. We were entertained by the course, however I've played on mini-golf courses that are much more maintained and challenging. Overall, we had fun so it was worth the money, but there are definitely better places out there.

My bff and I were bored and decided to use some Entertainment book coupons here last night. We did mini golf with our buy 1, get 1 free coupon. It was fun at night. We skipped around all over the 5 courses to avoid lines. The reason this place isn't getting 5 stars is because of what happened when we went to get tokens. We had another coupon for buy 20 tokens, get 20 free. That cost $5. We paid for that using the parking voucher. When you park, you have to pay $5 but they give you a $5 voucher that you can use on ANYTHING inside Camelot. The teen boys at the counter told us that their manager didn't allow people to use "two coupons at once". We argued, saying the parking voucher is not a coupon. They did allow us to use it but told us their manager would probably chew them out. Really lame. So... if you're using Entertainment coupons, be aware that they might try to tell you something like this but insist on using them!

They have food shaped eraser prizes. YES!

This was our second visit (and third attempt) to Camelot and generally we enjoy it. (we're big mini-golf fans)

We had gone last Saturday but left right away because it was way to crowded with kids and birthday parties. We opted to come back on Monday when it would be quieter and we would actually have access to the air hockey table. Except it rained on Sunday, so when we got there Monday,  there were only 2 courses open (presumably because the rest were flooded.)  Those to courses made for interesting mini golf being partly saturated themselves, but we made the best of it and had fun playing minigolf at sunset.

We also got a crack at the air hockey table ( I still cant believe theres only 1!) and we kicked some ass at skee ball. This is still a fun place to go when we've got nothing else to do.

Been here for many years now. This was the place to go to on weekends to chill and play some fighter games or race on the old Initial D machines they had back in the day. Now they have ID version 5 but the last couple times I went it's broken. Wangan Maximum Tune works but don't expect 4 player action since one of them is broken.

I used to come here during my college days and come here in between classes to play some Soul Calibur 2, Initial D, Guitarfreaks/Drummania and even Beatmania IIDX 7th style. Unfortunately they removed it long ago since it didn't get enough people playing it or the damn kids broke it like they did with Drummania. GF/DM is no longer there so if you are a fan of that game then it's best to head over to AI to get your fix.

Majority of the games here are semi-working to busted up. Don't come here and expect all their games to be 100%. I also noticed that the back area where they have parties has been rearranged. Instead of the games being in rows, they placed all the games against the wall. I'm not too keen on this change but oh well.

The pinball machines used to work fine but too much abuse has gotten them all to not work properly. I used to play the Austin Powers pinball and it suffered some heavy abuse as well as the Simpsons and South Park. The only one that works fine now is the Pirates of the Carribean.

Food here is mediocre. Sometimes I get a slice of pizza for a snack. It's not the best tasting pizza I ever had but it's ok enough to get by. Also don't bring outside food/drinks. I never had anyone tell me anything when I brought in outside drinks like the Carl's Jr. nearby but you never know.

I never tried the minigolf here but I would assume it would be fun. It's just not the same place as it once was when the place had go-karts and Boomers next to it. Now it's been taken over by some office/industrial buildings.

Overall this place is decent to check out especially when it's not busy during the week. Almost feels like you have the whole place to yourself.

Camelot (or Castle, as we always referred to it) Golfland has been around for a very long time.  We would come here instead of Southern Hills Golfland if we had enough free time, seeing how it was a much longer drive.

Back in the day, the facility used to be much larger.  Over to the side of the castle, they used to have a cool little go-kart track, bumper boats, and a second arcade!  And I'm pretty sure there was even a rollerskating rink in there.  That part of the complex has since been leveled and replaced with industrial buildings :(

Our main attraction to this place was the arcade.  Years ago, they would usually have newer games/machines and they were pretty good about keeping them maintained.  Seems that nowadays, they don't have the same mechanic.  He also worked at Southern Hills, which is why all of their machines were in good shape.  Now, the machines get pulverized by all the kids with their sticky hands.  You're pretty much guaranteed to get at least one button on Beatmania that won't register.

And who could forget the backroom that was like an arcade machine museum?  They had some old cabinets back there that brought back a lot of memories.  Especially the pinball row.  Just keep in mind that all these machines use tokens, so if  you get bored you may just find yourself going home with a pocket full of useless currency.

The mini golf here is great.  Like everyone else has mentioned, there are 5 different courses of varying difficulties.  Be warned, some of the harder courses have water hazards that are just ripe for losing your ball.  The fact that the mini-golf area is so large and there's multiple courses means you'll hardly ever get stuck behind another group.

I spent a day on the water slides probably around 20 years ago.  For younger kids, it can be fun, and with the arcade and mini-golf you can make a day out of it.  I've seen driving by on the freeway that they've been renovated.  I believe they were actually closed for a long time, so this is good.

I remember the pizza here being mediocre.  Typical $1.50/slice cardboard, but there was just something about it that screamed Golfland.  Paired with a $1.00 Pepsi, and I suppose you're good to go.  It's been a long time since I've eaten here, so maybe things have changed.

All in all, this isn't the same place it was 10 years ago.  I'll still come here if I ever get some strange itch to do some miniature golfing, but I'll probably steer clear of the arcade.

Did you know that the first Saturday in May is National Mini Golf day? Yes, it's true. Oh so true. A national holiday for tiny version of golf. You could call it putt putt, if you will, but no matter what you need to call it what it is - a fountain of youth.

The moment you grab your little piece of paper, your tiny pencil, your small golf club and a colorful ball (red, always), you're ready to get transported back to a youth. One you may never even have had. Even though this reaction can even happen when you're in a bad or crappy golf course,

This.. is not a crappy golf course. No, this would make the Tiger Woods of Minigolf happy. Not because there's a lot of people here and thus more chances to add to the mistress list, but because it has that look, that feel. That stuck in time sort of rub going for it.

The endless options. It's has five courses to choose from. You know what that means, it means you should never play that final hole that takes away your ball and just jump to the next course. Just think of how much bang for your buck a trip to Golfland provides you.

Do you know how many small castles and mini ball traps five courses provide? That's more than storybook land at Disney. The whole place is just over the top and really, it's one of the best mini golf

As for pizza? Meeeeh, not really. And the arcade, while it does have that ol' 70's cheesy arcade look, feel and carpet. It does have some newer games. Though you're here for the mini-golf. STAY ON TARGET!

Really is one of the best places for mini-golf in SoCal.

For minigolf this play is way better than boomers. They have a bunch of courses and the decor is much better looking as well.

I think I saw Tiger there once.

I USE TO GO HERE ALOT WHEN I WAS A PRE-TEEN...AND THIS PLACE STILL IS THE BEST!

I went not to long ago and had a blast! The course that I played on was a lot of fun mixed in with some nice exercise.. LoL! I will definetly be going back to this miniture golfcourse very soon!

This place is great for children AND adults!! The arcade inside of the "castle" is nice...and they offer food & prizes. There is also a small waterpark attached Golfland.

Hmmmmmm, August 20th, 2008 - I would never think I would end up at the miniature golf place right off the 91. But somehow I did. After a night of searching for under 21 spots (our out of town visitor brought his 12 year old cousin along for a bowling night, or so we thought - all bowling joints are 21 and over after 9pm. NEVER KNEW).

Anyway, the location is creepish. It's dark and industrial. Don't come here alone, ladies! As if the hearst in the parking lot wasn't a dead ringer for LEAVE NOW - wait until you get a hold of the crowd inside. IT IS SO STRANGE.

There was a group of goths who sit around wearing black velvet during a S. Cali Summer, there were the token hard core Dance Dance Revolution group of guys (4 of them, all decked out in tank tops and sweating up a storm), the token group of Asians playing the tactical arcade games, a small group of Mexican biker dudes, and then there was us!!!

Aside from the weird mix of people, the place smelled like feet.

Don't come here. Seriously, save your money.

** PS I did not play mini golf so I don't know how that was... but I will tell you that they close mini gold pretty early.

Came here with friends over the weekend to do a surprise Lazor Joustin' shindig for my boyfriend's bday. Now, I've never gone lazor jousting before nor lazor tagging. Boy was it fun...although there must of have been something "wrong" with my gun. Or I lack major gamin' ability at ANY level. (Acutally, me lacking gamin' ability is fact....my boyfriend has the monopoly on that skill...) I am proud to say I came in last place for both games. Yeah!  *high five*

I guess it's a good thing that it's a free for all (everyone against everyone else..) or no one would want me on their team...since clearly I would whittle all the hard earned points of any team. Haha...

Fun...cheap...good work-out. I was laughing and occasionally screaming the whole time.

PARKING: Apparently it's $5 to park now, which can be redeemed for golf/tokens, but if you buy the discounted tickets on their website, you're subjected to parking in the business complex right next door or paying the stupid charge. Oh well no biggie.

GOLF: I've been coming here since I was a little kid, and like the other reviewers have said, it is still just as fun as I remember! The park is clean and well-maintained and since there's 5 starting points you're never really stuck behind annoying groups of preteens. Cheap prices too! Love it!

ARCADE: I got the package deal of golf + 60 tokens, and that was the biggest waste of my money and life. The arcade is really large with a lot of updated games as well as the old school ones I love and miss. But BEWARE, MOST OF THE GAMES DON'T WORK! I lost tokens/lost out on tickets at basketball, mario kart, ski ball, pretty much everything else. I kept telling the employees and they seemed like this happened every 30 seconds of their day and they were nice to reimburse me with more tokens, but I got so lazy going up to them after a while I just spent all my tokens and bought my garbage prizes with the 100 tickets I won. And what happened to the legit 10 ticket prizes?? The parachute army man? Plastic frog that hops? Rubbery shark-dolphin toy?  -2 stars!

    Come here for golf only!
