It was my fifth time moving in the four years I've been in the Valley and I looked to Yelp for a reliable moving company this time around. I am proud to say, that I found that company with Camelback Moving!
From the first time I called and spoke to Lisa, I knew I was in good hands... Lisa went over all of the details and logistics and gave me a quote over the phone and followed up via email exactly as she said she would. They sent a 2 man crew (Mike and Moises) with equipment at a rate of $75 per hour (2 hour min) with a onetime trip charge of $85.00. The overall cost was $366.25 - I believe that is the cheapest move I've ever had! (It probably helped that Jared and I moved some of the smaller stuff on our own).
Camelback Moving has a "meet or beat" pledge and supposedly they will "match or beat any quotes from a reputable moving company with a DOT#, MC# and a BBB rating equal to or better than theirs."
Although I was not there for the actual move, (lucky me, I left Jared to do the dirty work), I am told that the guys that came did an amazing job... an overall fabulous experience - at least, the best a move can be since moving sucks! I hope I will not have to move again for awhile but if I do, I will not hesitate to call Camelback Moving again.
Camelback Moving recently helped my wife and I with our recent move. The movers showed up during the window of time I selected. The movers did a great job and were very nice. .
The cost of the moving services was very reasonable.
The communication process from start to end was very professional.
When I move again, I will be contacting Camelback again to assist in my move!
I was able to schedule Camelback Moving on short notice, on the weekend day & time that I needed. The two movers arrived on time and were ready to work.
Both were very efficient, thorough and careful. While one guy was disassembling my CA king bed frame, the head board fell on him (luckily, it's padded!) and knicked my wall. He was very honest and apologetic. I told him not to worry since I was going to touch up all the paint anyways.
They loaded and unloaded everything in a timely manner.. even though alot of my stuff was pack haphazardly. I would not hesitate to use the company again!

Good thing I consulted Yelp... this company is great. They were on time (actually, they were early and this worked out perfectly for us), took special care in handling our items, reasonable cost, friendly, efficient, and professional. I highly recommend Camelback Moving.
I have used a few moving companies in the past. This one rates Tops on my list. I was glad to see they had a high rating on Yelp so I decided to give them a try. I am glad I did. Here are some of the details:
Things that really made a difference:
- First Call was detailed, and girl who answered was very nice and helpful.
- Received 2nd call 2 days before to confirm and asked if I had any other questions.
- Received a phone call from the crew (as promised) 30 min before arrival.
- Truck arrived 5 min early. They started moving exactly at 8am as promised.
- The two guys were professional, friendly and polite. He even called me by name when he had a question.
- They wrapped all furniture so as not to damage anything.
- They took care in the move. Not slow, just careful.
- Timely for the work load and three flights of stairs they had to do.
I would totally recommend them to anyone looking for a mover.
For the most part I am extremely detail oriented and rarely make mistakes when managing a project. With that said, I sat there on a Wednesday morning looking through our upcoming move into our office suite that Friday afternoon just to make sure I crossed my "T's" and dotted my "I's" ... when suddenly I realized: SHIT, I forgot to book the movers!!!
Sooooo... I turn to trusty Yelp to guide me to a moving company that can hopefully be my knight in shining armour and give a call to Camelback Moving.
They were able to accommodate our move with extremely short notice and we were so happy with the service. The two guys that came were extremely friendly, they got right down to business and did not waste any time. Our move went really quickly and I was extremely satisfied with the price. They clearly disclose pricing on their website and I had no issues after-the-fact.
I would highly recommend Camelback Moving and will certainly use them the next time I have a move! Thanks for saving the day!!
I booked this company based on the reviews here on Yelp. Initially I was referred to another company that a friend had used. I called them and they were unable to accommodate my schedule or even offer anything close to it. I searched here and found the wonderful reviews posted. I called and spoke to Pam who was awesome. She answered my questions and worked with me to fit my schedule. On top of that - they were more competitively priced than the company I initially called. I also immediately received an email confirming what we discussed. The movers arrived on-time (early actually) and were very efficient. My place was loaded and moved in no time! They were professional and extremely helpful.
This was the first time I've ever used a moving service - and now I wonder how I never did before. What would have taken me days took them hours and nothing was damaged!
I would absolutely use them again and recommend them to anyone looking to hire movers.
This is a great moving company as the previous reviewers have stated. Very professional and attentive from the office staff to the movers. I would not hesitate to use these guys again.
I was very pleased with Camelback Moving. I was able to schedule them on short notice and they were friendly and on time. The only complaint I would have is that they wrapped furniture and it took a little extra time, even though I told them I did not need it (my furniture is old). But overall, very trustworthy, fairly priced and I'd highly recommend them.
If I ever move again, I know who I'm gonna call. Camelback Moving is the BEST moving company I have ever used. In fact, I've used them twice to move locally in Phoenix. They were so great the 1st time, I didn't once think of using anyone else for my 2nd move.
When you call to set your appt, they are professional, efficient and thorough. They don't mind fielding your questions and will be honest with you about their scheduling. I found out that you can save money if you move on a weekday, as opposed to a weekend. Their weekends fill up fast, too.
When you make your appt, you're walked through the process. What they book for you depends on how much stuff you're moving and the layout of your current residence versus your new one. For example: 3 flights of stairs means higher cost, due to booking an extra set of hands.
When you make your appt, you're given an hour time frame in which to expect them at your place. Maybe it's 8 or 9. Either way, this is the most punctual moving company I've ever used.
A couple days before your move, you get a a reminder call. The day of your move, you get another call from the actual "moving men" to let you know they're on their way over to you. The 2nd time I moved, they were even early - by about 1/2 hour.
The guys that show up to help are GREAT: friendly, polite, hard-working, fast and even lighthearted. Who knew? On the plus side: Not creepy whatsoever. So ladies, no worries when you got to move by yourself, like I did.
Honestly, if you need to move, give these guys a call. I've moved over a dozen times in my life, and I can vouch that these guys are the real deal. They even take great care of your personal items - wrapping things in blankets and/or bubble wrap. I was very impressed!
Thanks to Alicia B's review, my husband and I hired Camelback Moving Inc. to help us move to a new apartment. We were so apprehensive, having only terrible past experiences with moving companies.... and as soon as our movers showed up, we were SO relieved! Not only were they right on time, but they were SO friendly and professional! They moved very quickly, but at the same time, they didn't seem rushed, and they were very careful with all our things.
All I can say is that I was worried about not knowing where all our furniture would fit in our new place, etc, but they helped out with everything. The price was also good -- I'd definitely recommend this company to anyone who is moving places here in the Valley.
** P.S. It's 112 people. Don't forget to offer your movers a bottle or water or something.

I used Camelback Moving to move from an apartment to a condo a few months ago. My apartment was a third floor walkup, so there was no way I was doing that myself!
I called probably about 3 weeks in advance and had no problem setting up the move for a Saturday. They called to remind me about the move the day before, and called right before they arrived, which was right on time. The movers were EXCELLENT. They made it look easy to carry all my stuff down those three flights of stairs. They were also friendly and totally professional.
Best of all, the price was great, and it was exactly what they said it would be. Great experience--I will definitely use them again next time I move, and I tell everyone I know who's moving about them now.

They were flexible about my moving time, scheduling later in the day than normal to accommodate me, and everything went smoothly. The people I dealt with on the phone were professional and pleasant. The moving guys were prompt and everything showed up in one piece. What more could I ask for?
