A great pizzeria, well worth a visit. Cambiotti's features thin-crust pizzas, and they are truly excellent, with crispy crusts, a good balance of cheese and sauce, and a variety of fresh toppings. I love their Quattro Formaggio pizza, loaded with four cheeses.
Cambiotti's also does a deep-dish pizza -- kind of like a smaller Sicilian, that is also very tasty. It is available as a red sauce or a white pizza. We just had the white deep-dish pizza last weekend, and I'm still thinking about it.
My wife also highly recommends their chicken wings, as being one of the best in the Morris County area. All the other dishes we've had there have been good, but the pizza is really outstanding.
The seating is very nice compared to most pizzerias in the area. They have a mixture of booths and tables. Not the most spacious place, but it is cozy. -

I think this is the kind of place you either love or hate.
The pizza has a unique taste to it. The sauce is sweeter than most other places. Combined with the thin crust it creates a flavor you're not used to. I had to take a couple of bites before I decided I liked it.
It's around the corner from our house so we've never eaten inside. Always get it to go. -

Great local place with a great tomato pie and some good basic pasta and chicken dishes. Prices are good and it's a BYOB.
I like the chicken murphy !! -

I can't speak about the pizza, that was not the food I was seeking when I had dinner here. It's small, outdated and the service is slow. I ordered calamari as an appetizer and on a scale from 1-10 it was about a 3. Maybe if you never tasted authentic, quality calamari and you had nothing to compare it to, I might give it a 5-6 maybe. It was greasy, chewy and tasteless. The sauce that accompanied it was a complete joke.
I was trying to steer away from a chain restaurant and was hoping to find a diamond in the rough. Unfortunately, it was just rough with no signs of shining. I would have rated it 1.5 stars if I could, I am being generous. There is better Italian food to be had for sure. -

This place has amazing pizza. Tomato pie in the name says it. This pizza is heavier on the sauce than most other pizzas I've had. Which for me is good because I'm not really big on cheese. But cheese lovers don't worry. Its still good for you guys too and I love the cheese-sauce-cheese-sauce striping!

This is one of my favorite pizza places in the world. I can't recommend it enough. You really just have to try it for yourself!

The most amazing pizza!
After living in NYC, and then having a few decent pizza options in Essex County (e.g., Star Tavern), we despaired of finding good pizza out here.
Now that we've discovered Cambiotti's, our despair has been replaced with joy! The pizza is consistently excellent, and quite satisfying.
I've also tried the wings -- and they're very impressive. I've been looking for a restaurant that doesn't overcook and dry out the wings, and Cambiotti's is it! The only problem with the wings is if I eat a whole order of them, I barely have room for pizza too! -

This place is the worst. Who puts an Egg Plant Parm on a Portuguese roll and serves it with stale potato chips. Their pizza oven is a Domino style conveyor chain and they never put enough cheese or sauce on the pizza. If you sit down and eat the pizza fresh with a side of sauce, its not that bad; but if you get it to go it turns to rubber and drys out. It is one of the only places in the area that does serve a true thin crust pizza so I guess they have that market covered.

If you can't make it into NYC for your thin crust pizza fix, this is the next best thing! You wouldn't expect such a great pizza from this unassuming, local pizzeria but you will be shocked, pleasantly! The pink vodka thin crust pie is an explosion of tastes that won't let you down. I recently discovered their Italian wedding soup and have been craving it since! I can honestly say that Cambiotti's has one of the best thin crust pizzas in NJ (yes, I've been to Papa's, the Reservoir, The Star Tavern, etc etc) but Cambiotti's pies rank high!
