While not all their menu items are worth ordering, some of the items highlighted in this review are solid for a typical MN suburb. Located in small strip mall across the way from Burnsville shopping center, there is ample parking and no need for reservation. Casual family owned dine in restaurant with mix of Vietnamese and Chinese cuisine. They have lunch special menu too.

The food is good and you get plenty of it. We started with cream cheese wontons. These were piping hot and served with sweet and sour. I ordered the combination fried rice sub beef instead of shrimp. It was pretty good. My husband tried a chicken dish he enjoyed. I can't think of which one.
The bathroom was clean, service was good, and I enjoyed the TV that showed kitchen prep being done. Unlikely to be theirs, but still something cool to watch while waiting on food.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Amy P.Saint Paul, MN0178Apr 17, 2024
Came here at lunch time, the service was great!
Orange chicken is the best I have ever had! You can pick the spice level. Chicken chow mein had a great sauce and veggies were cooked perfectly, the chicken was a little bland by itself.
Chicken lo mein was great also, the noodles are like angel hair thin, which I prefer in lo mein versus the thinker noodles.
Will be back again!Helpful 0Thanks 1Love this 0Oh no 0 - Dec 30, 2023
We were regular customers of this restaurant pre COVID. We used to love getting the banh xeo here, it was abnormally big and had a lot of great stuffing with pork, shrimp and bean sprouts. The pho was decent here but not anything memorable. The reason why I am rating a 3/5 is due to my most recent experience. I noticed prices went up significantly for the appetizers. For example, the spring rolls are now close to $8 and they used to be around $4-5. I bought only two orders of spring rolls to go and spent $18, which is about $1-2 more than some other pho restaurants in nearby suburbs. The spring rolls had quite a lot of lettuce and not as much noodles or meat either so that was disappointing. They don't give you peanut sauce either, just hoisin which is interesting.

I've ordered take out a few times now. Their eggrolls are superb. You don't find that many restaurants that offer a generous size and very crispy egg roll. Love them! I also had their hot and spicy chicken. I've frequented other Vietnamese restaurants that did that dish very well. Namely, Kinhdo Uptown and Vina, both which are now closed, so I'm on the hunt for a Vietnamese restaurant that does a good job with that dish. Unfortunately, when I ordered the Hot and Spicy Chicken the chicken was shaved and not pieces or chunks of chicken, while the flavor was spot-on. The shaved chicken really turned me off from an appearance and texture. Maybe that was unusual, for them, so will try it again and hope to not be disappointed a second time.

Pros: Very friendly service. Large menu.
Cons: Nothing specific.
Details: We ordered takeout, so I can't speak to the ambiance, though it seems like a decent sized place. We ordered several dishes and a couple appetizers. Everything tasted good. We had one container leak so might avoid heavily sauced items in the future. Pretty much ate it all, fairly standard food as far as taste, but good quality.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - melissa d.Burnsville, MN03Jan 5, 2024
I have enjoyed the Vietnamese food at Cam Rahn Bay for 40 years --first discovering the restaurant down on highway 13 in burnsville back in the 80's--was disappointed when they closed that restaurant but then found they moved to Eden prairie--too far for me though--then suddenly they came back to burnsville probably due to popular demand and we were thrilled--anyway anything i've ordered here has been delicious--I usually get the hot and spicy shrimp and pork or Kung Pao chicken, wings are great too-- Restaurant itself is nice and service is good!! Enjoy!!
