Paul + his crew were amazing. They were on time, friendly, careful + out of this world fast w/ the move.
Moved me & my gf from two apts in Bushwick to a 4th floor walk up in b'wick in under two hours.
I will use Paul again for any move in the future and you should too!!
Cost was $65/hour for Paul + two movers. -

Paul and his team were amazing. Friendly and upbeat, moved me from a 4th floor walk up to a 2nd floor walk up in no time. It was the easiest move ever. And the cheapest. Highly recommended.

Paul is incredibly organized, efficient, and responsible. He's also super-friendly and actually makes an effort to get to know you in the little time you spend with him during your move. I've used other movers in New York that were very good, but nowhere on the level of Paul. I absolutely detest moving and have a bit of OCD about the organization of my stuff, but Paul and his crew made my move-in day as pleasant and stress-free a day as possible.
The next time I have to move there will be no second thoughts about calling Paul to haul for me. I would recommend him to anyone in the area who has to move. As another one of the reviewers said, 5 stars is not enough! -

Really really great experience with Paul. He's super nice, responsive, was there on time (10 mins early!), moved my things with great care and was super efficient. Will use him again and recommend to all my friends.

I'm writing this after using Paul for the 2nd time (one year ago was the first), and I just want to make clear that he is as good as I could hope for:
- Nice, honest, considerate, patient
- Calm, even-tempered, adaptable
- Strong, smart, experienced
- Reliable, reliable, reliable
- Very reasonably priced
Really, he's been great for us both times. -

I called Paul 4 days before I needed to be moved and he squeezed me in. He charged $65 an hour with a 2 hour minimum and I was completely finished within two hours. They hustle!
There are no hidden fees. I recommend being organized and having all your things packed and ready to go so they can move as quickly as possible.
I wish I could give his team 10 stars. They really made the move a less painful experience! -

The BEST moving experience I've ever had. 5 Starts just doesn't do it justice.
I scheduled with Paul 1 week prior to my move through email. He called me back 3 days prior to reconfirm our appointment since there was a Hurricane coming through NYC.
Then he reconfirmed again the day before.
The day of he was early 30min!!! Amazing!
I booked him for 2 people/2 hours at $65/hour.
I had 1.5 rooms worth of boxes/furniture.
Him and Miguel were incredible. Fast, Efficient, Hard working, Always with a Smile on their face, lLaid back, No complaining, really took care of your things and extremely Courteous!!!
You can tell he too pride in his work and he does it very well.
I would recommend him to everyone I know and want to spread the word on yelp for everyone to call him when you need a fantastic mover!!!! -

The night before my most recent move I was tossing and turning. There was so much that could go wrong. I could've forgotten this or that, etc... I mean, I don't have to tell you that moving in New York can be a major pain.
From the moment I met Paul, though, he put me at ease. He and Joaquin moved me from a 5th floor walk-up in Hamilton Heights to a 4th floor (with small elevator) in Washington Heights in exactly 2 hours. They were punctual, kind, and fast. Paul made a great conversation partner on our way to the new apartment. But I think if you prefer to ride over in silence he would respect that, too.
All for $130.00. Tough to beat it.
I love Paul as if he were my own flesh and blood. You will too. -

Paul is a great mover! I've used him twice and recommended him to at least two of my friends. He's best for small moves---the contents of my studio fit just barely into his van (with my mattress attached to the top). He's an extremely nice guy with great rates ($40/hr, minimum 2 hours). Totally trustworthy and not shady at all.
The only caveat is that I've always had to help him with my move---getting a friend to watch the van, and then helping move large items because they are too awkward to move alone. If you are willing to help out on your own move, Paul is a great guy to call! -

just had a move with paul today- he's absolutely great!!!
the process is pretty easy- i called paul up and left a msg,he called me back the same day and we discussed about the date and time-
there's 2 options for you-
1 person is 45$ per hr but 2 hr minimum
2 person is 65$ 2 hr minimum also.
it really depends on how many stuff you have and location since if you only get 1 person, paul will show up by himself but since he cant park in the city that long otherwise he will get a ticket- you have to stay at the van while he move your stuff.
but if you get 2 person then you can just relax and take your time..
since i don't have any furniture so we agreed on 1 person should be enough to finish the job..
the destination is from 6 flr walk-up in soho to elevator building financial district. the tricky part is when we get to my new apt on fidi-
we cant park in front of the building for too long..i don't want him to get the ticket.. we almost got one but luckily we didn't..
anyway, paul is just great from start to finish- we finish within 1 hr and a half- 90$ plus tip is just money well spent!!
i would recommend paul to anyone! he's just a nice person, kind and professional- my last mover was such a douche,he kept complaint that it's a lot of work for 6 flr walk up and i have too many stuffs- well isn't that the whole point of hiring a mover??
i wish i don't have to move again but if i have to- i will definitely give paul a call. -

if you are moving, call paul RIGHT THIS VERY SECOND. like NOW. i've moved 3 times in 7 months-- i don't wanna talk about it-- and this last time i used paul based on yelp reviews. i found him when looking for the famous "man with a van"... they were booked up, which ended up just fine. i was a little nervous calling a stranger, single woman and all, but oh my god, what a nice guy and easiest move ever. and when he called to confirm the day before i knew i had chosen well.
here's how the move went: paul showed up right on time. he's one of those peeps blessed with an infectious grin. wouldn't hear of me carrying anything too heavy-- in fact, i bet he would have been happy to let me sit and watch the entire time. he cheerfully and carefully schlepped all my stuff, and during the ride i could tell he was taking it easy over potholes. he got me moved from harlem to midtown in well under two hours with nary an object scuffed. i didn't mind helping at all-- hey, if you put a little into it you're done quicker! we did it just the two of us. and dude. you simply will not beat this price, 80 bucks for the whole shebang. paul is outstanding!
i'm almost looking forward to my next move... -

Paul is the best. He squeezed me in on the busiest moving day of the year (the last weekend day of August). He was professional, cheerful, and even early! I had a small move--just my bedroom stuff--so between me, Paul, and a friend, we moved everything in under two hours. Highly recommended!

I found Paul on Yelp, and based on all the rave reviews, decided to call him for my recent move. After all the stress of finding a new place, packing, etc., it was such a relief to not have to add the additional stress of a bad moving experience. Paul promptly replied to my email, and was able to accommodate a move a few days beforehand. On the day of my move, he showed up 30 minutes before his scheduled time. He and another mover (Miguel, I think) were so friendly and respectful, and made sure to take care in putting my things into the van. They were both very good company during the ride from Astoria to Brooklyn- Paul even recommended a few great Brooklyn coffee shops...he is so friendly and easy going. He actually tried to finish the move in two hours- it's not even a matter of him trying to save me money that had me sold- it's the guy's honesty. I am all for supporting small businesses- and I know, when someone provides friendly and honest service, success is most definitely in store. I HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend you call Paul for any small move (1 br/studio type thing). Call Paul to Haul- seriously.

I've used Paul a couple times and he is not only very professional, but absolutely the antithesis of all the sleezy movers out there. His fee is his fee and he is a real person, the kind of guy you want to work with on a stressful day. I've probably recommended him 30 times over the last few years.

Paul is absolutely wonderful. I had a small move from Kingsbridge Heights in the Bronx to Harlem. He got to my place 15 min early and with the help of Joaquim was able to pack up the van in about 30 min. When we got to my new place the leasing office was closed and we had to wait for almost 45 min. But Paul was cool and he didn't even charge me for the wait time!
Oh, and here's the crazy part -- I had to go to work in DUMBO (on my moving day! Yes, I know that's crazy) for a meeting and we were running late. Luckily, Paul's next move was in Brooklyn, and HE DROVE ME TO WORK! He got me to work just in time for the big meeting.
Paul's the best there is. Thanks Paul! -

Paul is great! Shows up when he says he will, with a helper- moves everything quickly, efficiently- has an easy manner that is both assuring and calming- highly recommend him for any small move you have- they had a 4th floor walk up studio emptied and on the road within 45 minutes- moved fro UES to Soho, unloaded and finished within 3 hours total- very impressed

Hire Paul for a great move! Professional, communicative, PUNCTUAL, careful -- everything you could want in a mover. He brought a helper, Johan, who was equally professional and polite. I really appreciated that Paul checked in with me leading up to the move and that he arrived 5 minutes early -- both "firsts" for me with hired movers. They were very careful moving large potted plants -- I'd hirely recommend them to move your few large Craigslist items as I did.
