Review from Dan S.
Used to come here a lot (and went to my first CPK way back in 1993 in St. Louis), but now, not as much mainly because its in the mall.
But a recent visit reminded me why I love this place so much. Yes, the BBQ chicken pizza is still good, but a cobb salad was very good with generous portions of everything you'd expect. Tortilla soup and Korean BBQ tacos were good as well.
Very good kids meals with lots of choices. And the pizzas are just the right size for them.
Service was good even on a busy crowded day at the mall.
Overall, a very good choice at WestFarms. -

I'll agree with Jenny F. 100% on this one. CPK is the best chain. The quality and flavor of their food is great. I like the fact they offer such a varied menu, including creative "pizzas." As alway, I appreciate the fact the offer a variety of vegetarian options.
I read on their web site the offer a call-head wait list now, so that might help out slightly with the super-long waits. -

Of all the chain restaurants, CPK is my favorite. The chopped salads are awesome and the "pizza" is pretty good. Ok, it's not really pizza. It's sort of a flatbread with unconventional toppings. My two favorites are the Santa Fe and the Tandoori mango chicken.
The service at the West Farms location has always been really good considering how busy it can be. Once we were offered 2 free desserts because the manager felt we were waiting to long. To be honest we weren't waiting long at all. It was a nice gesture, though.
I don't think they take reservations due to it being a chain and also being located in the mall. Lunch is usually less crowded. The weekends can be busy but I never really had to wait to long for a table. -

For a chain, you just can't go wrong. The Carne Asada and the Santa Fe are CPK "pizza" heaven! The Cheese Foccacia served with a tomato garlic and olive oil spread (it's basically a bruchetta) is amazing. I've seen the salads, they're huge! Everything here is always above average.
The service is attentive. There is usually a wait, but it's never too long. I don't mind coming here if I'm doing some shopping in West Farms. -

I agree with Christine and Jenny. CPK is one of the better chain restaurants out there. The quality of the food is leaps and bounds above anything that Crapplebee's, Chili's, or Friday's turns out.
I was very hesitant to eat here, especially because my parents like it, and they are not exactly the people I trust when it comes to food. But, surprisingly, I really enjoyed my meal.
The chicken chowder was delicious, and I am pretty picky about any incarnation of chicken corn chowder, considering it is one of my favorite things on the planet. I honestly don't recall what I had for my meal, but I remember thinking that I would definitely be happy going back there to eat again.
The only mildly negative thing was that it took repeated asking for the server to finally bring us bread, but after that she was on top of things.
Anyway, if you loathe cookie-cutter restaurants like I do, don't be frightened by CPK! It's a chain but it's good! (Yes, I did just write a pretty awesome review of a chain restaurant. No, I was not hit in the head recently.) -

Get the BBQ chicken pizza, which is what they're known for. I have gotten the CPK frozen variety at the grocery store before and also have tried to replicate its deliciousness homemade as well and failed miserably. The California Club sandwich is also wonderful if you aren't in the mood for a pizza. The wait times haven't been bad the two times I've been, but they were at off hours (9ish on a Saturday & 5pm on a Friday). It is conjoined with Westfarms, so plan accordingly. They have takeout as well.

CPK is predictably good. The Westfarms version is decent, though not the best CPK we've visited. To dine at a better one, though, you'll have to leave Connecticut (we particularly like several of the CPKs in California and Florida).

Awful!!!!!
If zero stars were available that would have been my review. The server had no knowledge of the beers that were available. She actually wanted me to rifle through the menu to find the beer.
Better luck next time. -

Just love the place. Very good food. Everything is delicious. Unfortunately it is located inside the mall, therefore you may have to wait to be seated. Otherwise, the food is worth the wait.

When in doubt, get the tostada pizza with steak! It's what I do.

If you like pizza, wait until you try theirs. I've never had a bad pizza here yet. The real deal doesn't do the frozen ones justice.

Thai crunch salad, you complete me. I love I love I love. HUGE portions - I order a half salad, or a whole one to split. Service can be spotty, and WHAT is with the wonder bread for an appetizer, but I love CPK, for take out or eat in. Rock on.

A great delicious pizza chain. No problems with this place but its still a chain and I know better places to be vague and blunt.

Great food, good service, can be busy so you might need to wait a bit.
