The people who work here are just GREAT! We had just gotten out from a late performance, and showed up around closing time hoping to grab a bite to eat. It was one of the few places in Branson (on the entertainment strip) that was open. When we arrived, the existing guests were finishing up. We ordered a pizza, and then overheard the waitress ask someone else in the kitchen if it was too late to make one up. We lucked out thanks to the boss. They welcomed us and told us there was no rush...they just worked around us.
Very nostalgic ambience with retro juke boxes (that work) and vintage decor...all real from the 50's. Great cones, sundaes, shakes, and pies. There's a sandwich menu along with burgers, fries, hot dogs, chicken pot pie and nachos.
If I'm in town again, I'd definitely return. -

This places is cool b/c it's old diner style. They have MANY other desserts beside ice cream too!
It's HEAVY though! VERY HEAVY! I ordered a strawberry shortcake and it was the size of my head (maybe bigger)! I ate the whole thing b/c I feel it's such a shame to waste ice cream, but I'm not kidding you when I tell you I wanted to throw up afterwards. Not b/c it was gross, it was quite good, but it sat in my stomach like a block of gold! HEAVY!
The people working here were SO nice though.
Beware: Anything you order there will be the biggest dessert you've ever had, so go with a small b/c it WILL be a large.
They're known for their funnel cakes here by the way in case you are really a fan of those and they have toppings galore! Again, beware b/c these funnel cakes are quite huge! -

Reviewers have mentioned most of Cakes 'n Cream goodies, but thought I should add they make wonderful PIES! There's a bakery on the premises, below the shop, and you can buy a whole pie or one generous slice. And oh yes, the banana splits are big enough to feed a family. This is a fun place to go for a little nostalgia and a lot of sweetness.

I was wanting some ice cream and popped in this diner. They had an assortment of real ice cream to choose from and so many pies and cakes on display! They make fresh funnel cake sundaes which looked great. In addition to dessert, they do burgers, fries and pizza. It has a 50's diner feel complete with black and white tiled floor and a jukebox playing the oldies. For a waffle cone and root beer float, we paid almost 8 bucks so it is a bit pricey but everything in Branson is.

I am reviewing just the ice cream. The ice cream isn't made on-site, a commercially available brand is sold there. For me this is a turn-off. The ice cream is fine, but I was expecting homemade local ice cream. The place is cute and right on the strip.
