Caffe Vittoria
1 review for Caffe Vittoria
Excellent little place we swung by for lunch on our way back home from a walk in the park. Yes, my family still feels a need to take walks in the park despite having moved to the suburbs...I guess it's all part of urban detox or something. Anyway.
Good stuff at good prices, semislow service (by anxious new yorker standards). I had eggplant parm, about the only thing I can stand in italian places, and it was pretty darn good. Extra layer of cheese between the eggplant layers was clutch. My parents had the cheese ravioli, which they deemed rather good, and my friend the penne with mushroom sauce. Mushrooms are always good. Cheesecake was meh, again, we are spoiled New Yorkers thrust out into the wilds of the dirty jers. The tiramisu wasn't bad. They did brew a fresh pot of coffee for us, kudos.
There's also a takeout counter, with pizza and subs. But worth sitting down and perusing the big lunch and dinenr menus. There's always a bunch of specials too. We'll be back, especially when the need to walk around in circles strikes us again, despite being able to now do so in our back yard.
