Review from Mark F.
Los Angeles, CA
Caffe Roma is one of my favorite Happy Hour Specials because of the amazing number of dishes and generous portions served at Agostino Sciandri's upscale Beverly Hills Italian eatery. Caffe Roma has a great bar, cafe and restaurant with plenty of indoor and covered patio seating.
Caffe Roma's Happy Hour Specials run from 4pm to 7pm daily with 51% off all drinks. A Ketel One martini is under $7 and an excellent glass of Pinot Noir is just under $5.
When it comes to Happy Hour Specials on food, Caffe Roma serves up some of the best for just $5 per dish. We especially enjoyed the Caponata e Gamberi - Sicilian caponata with grilled shrimp, the Pizzetta Margherita, the Carpaccio di Manzo, the Timballo di Melanzane - oven baked penne with eggplant and tomato, the Polpettine di Carne - meatballs in a tomato sauce with peas and the Salame e Olive - classic assortments of mixed salamis, olives and cheeses.
Making the happy hour experience even better are Caffe Roma's bartenders, especically Vasilios Pavlakis, who poured excellent martinis and had a great rapport with his customersand Maggie who works Thursday through Saturday evenings.
Happy Hour Mark and his wife Bar Method Mimi make it their mission to find all of the best Happy Hour Specials in Los Angeles, which they write about on their blog http://happyhourlosang... -

Well, since they opened again quite a while ago after renovating - OMG IT'S GORGEOUS!!! - I thought I'll write another review.
Service really depends on who's working, but otherwise I love it! The place looks amazing. I've seen a lot of celebrities there, in case that's what you are looking for =) Especially during lunch hours on the weekend.
The food is delicious, addictive even. They have live music on some nights in the bar/lounge area. On a nice day it's such a pleasure to sit outside in the courtyard like setting. A very happy place, elegant but family friendly - at least for lunch hours. At night you'll probably would want to have fun at the bar after a great meal and maybe even dance a little =)
It's also amazing for corporate events or parties of any kind. They even have a special separate place in their wine room for private parties. Something else: It is very clean!1 Previous Review: Show all »

Review from Val M.
Caffe Roma sits in a great spot for people watching in Beverly Hills. I went here to meet a friend after work and it was a great spot for happy hour. The staff was friendly and the vibe was perfect for unwinding after a long day, complete with the loungey techno background music. I love late happy hours, theirs doesn't end until 8pm , seriously who can get to a happy hour before 6pm these days? The $5 menu is a great value, we tried the meatballs, calamari and the margarita pizza. The food was average ....the calamari was the best out of the three.
I'm assuming the regular menu would be much better. The food Is saw going by in the main dining room looked very good. I probably won't visit here too often since I work downtown and getting there is a trek after work, but if you are in the area I recommend giving it a try. -

I went to Cafe Roma on a sat night.
my friend told me about this place and I was very excited.
but,I was very dissapointent form the service and the food portions.
food arrived to the table after 3omins.
food portion was so small for a dinner i was still hungry after the 5 bites lasagna.
for sure first and last time. -
Review from Scot E.
I had been wanting to try this place.
I eat in the area a good bit and pass by here often. Also I had heard that the food was good.
The food was good. I was very pleased. They have a nice menu and I want to go back and try more of it.
Service was pretty bad. Maybe I was just there at a bad time. I think the staff was changing over or something when I arrived.
Service was adequate but not overly friendly at first. Towards the end I had trouble getting anyone's attention and it took a long time to pay my bill and get out of there.
I'll definitely be back but I really hope that next time the service will be up to the same standards of neighboring restaurants. -

Came here last week to watch the Golden Globes with a group of friends. We ordered from the happy hour menu which was delish. Loved the calamari and the peach martini was just ok. Overall- lovely place to dine, great staff and valet was only $7. I will definitely be back--right in the heart of Beverly Hills.

What a delight!
THE ORDER:
Filleto E Provalone (insalata): 4 stars. The Filet mignon was seasoned and cooked to perfecttion. It was succulent, tender, and thinly sliced (not like Shabu Shabu thin, but on the thin side). The meat was delicious and rested neatly alongside savory provolone atop a bed of mixed greens, drizzled with a syrupy balsamic vinaigrette. While I appreciated the symbiotic flavors of the meat and cheese, I'm not going to lie, I drizzled a bit of the table balsamic, bc I like my food tangy. But I only did this after eating half of it, so I could fully understand their culinary point of view.
Proscuitto Pizza: 4 stars. While the proscuitto itself was divine, the sauce was a dead-ringer for my elementary school cafeteria's pizza sauce. While the nostalgia was nice, it was kind of...shocking, tasting those flavors 20 years later in a Bev Hills restaurant, where it's "cool" to enter through the back door. Well, I guess it's appropriate to give a shout out to Mrs. Campf, my lunch lady from LB Grace Brethren Elementary! The crust was nice and light, yet crispy around the edges. I definitely did not feel guilty eating this pizza, because the dough was very, very thin. My kinda pizza!
THE SERVICE:
Pretty much spot on: 4 stars. The bus boy was a little creepy. By this, I mean, that when a plate is typically removed when you've finished eating, you don't even notice. He was leering over me. But, hey, maybe I'm too blame for wearing a loose, low-cut top ;) The waiter service was terrific. Overall, well done!
OVERALL:
I'd definitely like to try more! The quality of the filet mignon and proscuitto and provolone was tremendous. Also, a plate of freshly baked cookies to end the meal with was a nice little surprise!
I WILL BE BACK!
I RECOMMEND TO YELPERS!
enjoy!

PORTER RANCH, CA
Great place to hang out after a long day at work!
Came here with a few other girls for happy hour. We ordered quite a bit of food off the $5 happy hour menu:
* Timballo Di Melanzane (pasta dish w/eggplant). Very tasty!
* Spiedino Di Pollo (chicken skewers). Good!
* Patatine Al' Tartufo (parmesan cheese and truffle fries ). Two thumps up!
* Insalata Di Polipo (octopus salad). I did not try this one but my GF liked it.
* Pizzetta margherita. It was light and very tasty
* Calamari Fritti. Another two thumbs up!
* Polipo E Patate (grilled octopus & potatoes). It was very flavorful, tasted like it was grilled in bacon to me. My friend loves it.
* The drinks were also nice and strong.
It had a pretty good vibe. I loved the indoor/outdoor space, it was a perfect set-up for such a small area. Try to get there early during happy hour as the tables in the bar/lounge/patio area fill up pretty fast. Otherwise you'll have to wait for a table to free up or go to the back where the restaurant seating is.
FYI watch out for the old man hustlers seeking young women, unless you're into that kinda thing, no pun intended. Overall great place to catch up with friends.
Cheers! -

This is one of my go to happy hour spots after work. I get off work at 7 when most happy hours end but Caffe Roma HH goes until 8. You can't really go wrong with a $2 Stella.
I've only tried the pizza, calimari and fries from the happy hour menu and they have all been good. -

Happy hour con le mie belle ragazze!
Came here on a Wednesday evening for a humpday happy hour with my girlfriends. Fancy little bar/restaurant with lounge couches, small tables, dim lighting, and a trendy romantic ambiance.
Our waitress said everything under $14 on the drink menu is half off during happy hour... WIN! $7 Signature Cocktails and Margaritas. I ordered a fruity signature drink with raspberries and peaches. The name escapes me, but it was lovely.
$5 HH food that was pretty decent:
Patatine Al' Tartufo: french fries with parmesan cheese and truffles. Small portions with a subtle truffle aftertaste. I would probably skip this.
Pizzetta Margherita: mozzarella, tomato, and basil on a flatbread pizza. Yum!
Calamari Fritti: fried calamari served with arrabiata sauce. Delicious. Portions could be more generous, but not too much to complain about here.
Timballo Di Melanzane: oven baked penne with eggplant and tomato. Good, but nothing to rave about.
I would order the calamari and try different signature cocktails next time, grazie Caffe Roma! -

Beverly Hills, CA
This place was much much friendlier and nicer years ago before new ownership took over. I used to enjoy going there almost every weakend with my girls but it's not the same any more. Now it's a fancy-schmancy place with over priced and tasteless food along with corporate attitude. Not worth going there just because it's in Beverly hills. Very disappointed!!!

Los Angeles, CA
Came here late night with girl friends after drinks at Villa Blanca.
What was incredibly cool about this place was that there were a group of women having a birthday party and they were so friendly and having fun that our group joined their group and soon it was a non-stop dance party. (The mostly International men enjoyed the eye-candy, naturally, but it was so not a pick-up swarmy atmosphere that it was enjoyable and entertaining for everyone!)
Some other women came later and one kicked off her shoes and danced as though she were in her living room. It was fantastic!
For Beverly Hills, it's great to find a place that is still upscale with interesting people who know how to have a good time and have interesting conversation.
It's important to note that none of this would have been possible without the amazing band that played all the greats that kept the entire bar quite happy.
Give this place 4 stars for comfort, great outdoor/indoor atmosphere, band and people. I did not eat and only had a glass a (yummy) red wine.Listed in: Late-Night Greats, The Places I Go Out

***** Saturday Night Live at Cafe Roma! *********(
Saturday Night 830 PM I arrive with my date for our dinner reservations at Cafe Roma. The lovely Italian hostess gives us a choice between eating in the main dinning room , or in the bar area where the DJ would be playing music later on
We chose to eat in the bar area., and perhaps this is why we had such terrible service
I ordered the mixed green house salad with some arrugula added, with my dressing to the side
3 times the waitress brought the wrong salad. but finally I was so hungry I ate it anyway
When I ordered my chicken Parmigiana , with a 1/2 order of penne pasta, I told the waitress that I like a lot of sauce on both the Chicken as well as the pasta.
My chicken Parmigiana was served totally dried out with no tomato sauce at all
My pasta had very little. My dates meat pasta was overcooked and dry as well
It took over 15 minutes for us to get the waitresses attention and another 15 minutes for my pasta sauce to arrive,, so my chicken was both cold and dried out by the time the sauce arrived by the slow staff
I had to remind the waitress to bring the spinach that was supposed to come with my dinner, as well as to brin bread and butter to our table
The Maitre D' , who dressed and acted like "John Travolta" in the 1970's, wearing a white , broad shouldered suit , was constantly twirling around, waiving and pointing his hands directing two employees set up the sound speakers for the Disco music, deliberately ignored our attempts to get his attention to help us
When I asked the ,Maitre D for his help in getting my tomato sauce so I could eat my over cooked and dry chicken Parmigiana and that I also thought that my dates meat pasta looked rather dry and might need some sauce too,, The maitre D rudely replied that "My dates food ..looked fine"
It was not "Fine"..it was dry, and over cooked , and needed some type of Italian sauce to make the dish soft enough for a person to eat without feeling like a dog eating dog food from a can
When the bill came the waitress charged us $2 extra for 3 soggy slices of tomatoes , that was supposed to come with my dinner salad, as described in the menu
I would not go back to Cafe Roma, because the service was terrible and the food was mediocre at best -

San Pedro, CA
This is a quaint yet fancy little place. It's got great italian food and is tucked away inside the beautiful Beverly Hills streets. Food was surprisingly decently priced for Beverly Hills. My pasta plate was about $15-20. It's a known celebrity hotspot too. I didn't believe the hype, until Arnold Schwarzenegger walked in and was dining right near me!
Definitely go if you have an opportunity. And dine in the back to catch all the celebrities. -

HAPPY HOUR (mon-sat 3-8pm) MEANS $6 drinks & $5 food menu!
I was a fan of the drinks, but not the small sizes of the food dishes!!
---pizzetta margherita & calamari were just ehHH ok
---carpaccio di manzo was good! but when they say thinly sliced.. they MEAN THIN
I definitely wouldn't come hungry but feel free to come THIRSTY!!
the bar/lounge area for happy hour was PACKED....good thing they allow HH in the outdoor sidewalk seating!!
PARKING: get here before the parking garages start charging a flat rate & you should be good for a free 2 hours of parking!!Listed in: Lookin' for alcohol+grub?…

Hidden Hills, CA
I'm surprised by the positive reviews about Caffe Roma. The first time I went there, I ordered a pasta and a pizza and they were both completely COLD when I got them. I decided to give the restaurant another chance a few days ago. Again, the pizza I ordered was COLD and I had to send it back to the kitchen to be re-heated THREE times. It was not an enjoyable dinner at all.
On top of that, the service was horrible. Our waiter was running around like a madman and when I asked him to break my $20 bill he said "this is not Denny's." so rude.
The only positive thing I can say about this place is the cute owners. And, it can be 'happening' if you go on a good night. -

I think their happy hour menu is amazing.. $6 for a glass of good wine in a lovely Bev Hills joint? it's a steal!
and happy hour appetizers (like fried calamari) are awesome!! Dinner is great too! Love the ambiance and the couches in the bar area! -

Los Angeles, CA
Yummy food, but the noodles were a little bit tougher than I was hoping.
The setting is really great-very LA. Great for a summer lunch or dinner. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for people who have friends coming in from out of town. You can enjoy the LA weather! -

Beverly Hills, CA
This was a tough one....I come here for happy hour with the girls all the time. It's generally really inexpensive and the bites are perfect portions when you're trying to get your buzz on. The ambiance is great with good music and the outdoor-ish area is a great spot to mingle and hang out with your friends. I only gave 3 stars because ultimately it comes down to the food, but the ambiance and service is between 4-5 stars.
We've only had good experience here and we come at least once a week so I definitely recommend this place if you want a regular spot to frequent after work that won't break the bank, but still has a good mix of people to look at. I wouldn't invest on a whole meal here, but pre-drinks & apps are definitely worth it. Maybe I should just give it 4 stars....hmmm. -

There are two listings for the same restaurant on Yelp (I think that's why this one only has 9 reviews); posting this on both.
So we stumbled across Cafe Roma this past weekend unexpectedly. Got sucked in by the Happy Hour sign, but not sure that we got the happy hour prices.... oh well. In any case, the spaghetti and meatballs were DELICIOUS!!!!!!!!!!! Cheesy delicious. I'm not sure if the cheese came from the sauce or the meatballs.. it wasn't visible cheese.. but you could taste it and I loved it. Delish! Don't tell anybody, but I finished my plate! And the portion was NOT small! :-x
I was a bit bummed by the garlic bread. After asking twice for them to bring me some, it was boring old non-warm no butter bread. I mean, whatever, it's just bread, but I am a HUGE bread lover and bread is a necessary companion to pasta, IMO, so this was disappointing for me personally.1 Previous Review: Show all »

Review from Steve V.
The Happy Hour here is great. It is in the bar area only but there are tables there along with the stools you are used to. The best part is that they have it on Saturdays as well as the weekdays from 3pm-8pm. All drinks are 51% off and they have a great menu of $5 apps that are filling.
The food was good. We had the carpaccio, calamari, penne, pizza, and cheese plate. Again, all $5 and decent sized. Of course they are smaller than the dinner entree size but well worth the $5.
The ambiance is good as they do have a flat screen TV in the bar area and as it got dark outside, the mood definitely changed. The service was friendly and we had a team of people taking care of us. -

Great atmosphere with great tasty food!!
All of the waiters/waitresses are real Italian!!!
They constantly serve the delicious bread--served by their chief cook!
All of the staffs are really friendly & hospitality. We brought a bday cake and asked them to serve it after all of the entrees. They did great job! All of them, chief cook, waiters, waitresses, managers joined to light the cake and carried it to us!
I had Pollo Alla Parmigiana, which is soooo die for!! I heard that they make great pizzas, so try them folks!
I love Italian ppl!!!!
Tips are included, great idea (you dont have to calculate tips anymore!)

Service is great here, with 3 other girls and we were helped with the chairs, given by menus by the manager etc. Margarita pizza is okay, salad with avocado and goat cheese generous portions. Seafood pasta looked delicious with lots of seafood, my friend said it was very good. Chicken with green beans, and aparagus - nice sized portions. Live DJ spinning on Saturday night, turned in salsa music about 11, with a few people doing their salsa moves right there next to the bar. They have a great happy hour, delectable and tasty apps, $5 every night until 8 pm. Fun atmosphere, elegant yet down to earth. Rear parking lot, $6.

came here for my friend's birthday on a Saturday night!
it was cute place
they got the name of the reservation wrong...so we had little confusion in the beginning...but all was solved
I ordered the special....half moon ravioli with mushrooms....it came with 4 pieces...I don't know how they expect anyone to get full off of 4 raviolis....it was a $20 dish.....5 dollars per ravioli. I would have been angry if it tasted bad, but at least it was good...slightly on the salty end...but still yummy! I finished the dish in 5 minutes :/
the waiters were really friendly and nice.
the bread and olive oil wasn't the best...had better...
happy hour only applies at the bar
they don't charge for a cake fee...hooray!! we had two cakes and they sang for us both times :)
if u don't mind walking, park at santa monica and rodeo...and walk...its free after 6pm! and free all day sundays! -

Review from Octopus A.
Santa Monica, CA
This is my other favorite place along with Nic's Martini Lounge. Caffe Roma happy hour rocks. Amazing dishes for only $5. You can't beat that. My favorite dish is grilled octopus. Their margherita pizza is one of the best ones I've had: very thin crust with home made sauce, yum. Calamari rings are also very good, super thin breading, not the type where you have to scrape off layers to get to the squid. The best part of calamari is that they come with the most delicious arrabiata sauce. I recommend spaghetti and meatballs I should mention that there's a great selection of specialty cocktails as well as wine and champagne. I go for Prosecco usually. .
Cons: this place gets crowded during the happy hour, and there was a time where every waitress in the place ignored us and instead attended to BH men. That was very disappointing and we almost left and didn't come back. However, there is a very nice waitress named Ursula at Caffe Roma and I suggest you try to get her to help you out. Very helpful and cool girl. Caffe Roma staff seem to have a problem with servicing young single girls, thank Rome for Ursula! -

$6 dollar drinks + $5 dollar appetizers + gorgeous Vasilios as a wonderfully attentive bartender that makes amazing concoctions with St.Germain = I will definitely be back for happy hour!
My girlfriend and I came to dish over her romantic weekend in Paris and stumbled upon a little gem in Beverly hills...go for the carpaccio or the calamari..oop cant forget the meatballs..the food was great, the vibe was fun...Pandora tunes were rocking out before the band played some funk tunes after 8pm on a Wednesday. We had a blast!

Beverly Hills, CA
I can't believe this place doesn't have more reviews. I love this Italian place. Their free table bread is the absolute best I have ever tasted. It is like pizza dough right out of the oven. Use their butter on it and it is like eating a piece of heaven.
Everything I have eaten here is great. The spaghetti, the ravioli, the salads. I'm always happy. Parking is somehow easy (you would think it would be difficult in Beverly Hills). I always find a place to park.
My favorite is the regular salad. They have a unique gentle dressing for it. I love this place. -
Review from Hyura C.
Los Angeles, CA
I wanted to try an Italian restaurant in Beverly Hills other than Il Pastaio or Enotega, so I made a reservation here to meet up with a friend.
Ordered the Mozzarella with tomato and basil as an appetizer and the Paccheri (home made tube pasta) with pancetta and caramelized onion.
At $12, I expected much more from the mozzarella/tomato appetizer. Instead the plate of the large, sliced tomatoes came with two large lumps of mozzarella, adorned with a minuscule branch of basil in the center. NOT drizzled with any balsamic or olive oil.
The tomato slices were lacking in flavor.
My friend, who took a bite of it, said she would've preferred half the size with heirloom tomatoes with flavors you can actually taste. I totally agreed.
The Paccheri, however, was a marked improvement from the appetizer.
The homemade pasta was firm but not too chewy. The "tube" pasta was flat and about the size of mini post-its (a perfect size for a mouthful). I liked how the chef took care to put a spoonful of pancetta bits on top of each tube, and you could tell each tube was arranged one by one on the plate. That was a nice touch.
Overall, I'd return here for drinks and the pasta and try another appetizer. -

Los Angeles, CA
This is my favorite spot in Beverly Hills, with a killer Happy Hour between 5:00pm and 8:00pm they have an amazing selection of gourmet appetizers for $5.00 from octopus and fingerling potatoes to beef carpacio, Margareta pizza, cheeses, meatballs, fish and calamari. It is also 51% off wines and drinks so you can get a wonderful glass of Pinot Noir for around $4.00-5.00 dollars. The Bar and restaurant staff are beyond friendly, always paying so much attention to you while you're there, and you can't beat the crowd such a cast of characters makes for an excellent experience, very entertaining. The Dinner Menu here is also beyond fabulous, I definitely recommend this spot for group get togethers or even a date night...I usually do my girls night out's here and we have a great time.

Let's move on.
After a light repast of Urth Caffe goodness on Beverly Drive, we decided to use Yelp to find a local lounge to sit and talk. "Bingo, this place is open until 2 a.m.!" I exclaimed to my friend. We immediately drove over at 11:50 p.m. thinking we still had a good amount of time to enjoy the rest of our evening.
For a Thursday evening it wasn't too crowded but we sat outside to get more privacy anyway. Our waitress seemed friendly and took our orders right away. I ordered the Watermelon Delight ($10) and my friend ordered the Pomegranate Martini ($10). Both drinks were pretty good, actually. But this is where the good review ends, my friends.
While we were enjoying our drinks, four older gentlemen, who I am assuming are the owners(?), kept fidgeting with their projector (no this is not code for something sexually indecent) and flashing that darned thing in our direction. One second I was blue, the other second red, yellow, orange, and green. I swear if someone drove by, they'd think I was a Tele-tubby shooting a music video at this location. Thank Goodness I didn't come w/ my boyfriend because all of that flashing about was sooo not flattering, like, at all. :-* *Priss* *flips hair*
Half an hour later, our waitress came up to us and said she will be leaving early so we should settle our bill or get more drinks at the bar. I thought that was weird as the place advertises a 2 a.m. closing time. My friend paid for our drinks and just closed the tab as not to bother with it later.
A few minutes later, the four gentlemen from before started getting louder and more annoying, planning where the projector should go. Tele-tubby music video TAKE 2.
Then, out of nowhere, the music started BLARING (no longer giving the space a lounge-feel but more of a club-feel); I couldn't even hear my friend at this point. Eventually, I went inside and asked one of the busboys if he can lower the music. I sat back down thinking I had done all of the patrons a favor but no, the music STAYED LOUD.
I decided to ignore it and continued to enjoy the conversation I was having with my friend. Then boom, the heaters and lights outside WENT OUT. WE SAT THERE IN THE DARK wondering if this was their way of shooing us out. (It was 1 a.m. at this point.) Although there were many employees walking around, they didn't even bother to turn the lights or heater back on for us; I had to ASK one of them to get that done. He didn't even turn the heater back on but just turned the pink lights on.
By 1:20 a.m., they started moving the furniture back in and started closing down the shop. I sat there waiting for my friend to get out of the restroom and I was scared they were going to lift me right up with the couch and take me in. All of the pieces except for the two sofas we were sitting on got taken inside.
I don't know about you, Yelpers, but this is just RUDE! Considering we still had a good 40 minutes left to enjoy the space, if they really wanted to close early, they could've given us a courtesy warning or something. They didn't say a word and just went on moving the furniture.
I AM NEVER GOING BACK AGAIN. The only way you'll have me go back is if you club me, tie me up, and drag me there by my feet.
(Actually, I might like that too much. :/) -

I was looking through these reviews and I had to laugh. I was thinking, these people must be thinking of this place a few years back. I mean, this is not really an Italian Restaurant. O sure, they have Italianish food and try to be authentic, but in reality it is a place that an older Beverly Hills/Hollywood guy can escape from his wife, come smoke a cigar and place goo goo eyes on his next portable arrangement. The food is a true afterthought.
Yes it is open late and it is a good place for a later drink and to listen to dance or listen to the music ln Beverly Hills. But this is what it is. A lounge for older guys to smoke a cigar and find eye candy or for woman to find sugar daddies with gold chains, fake wallets and Lew Wasserman/Harry Carey/Drew Carey glasses. It is not a real Italian restaurant. It is a Beverly Hills Cheaters Caffe with Euro food. There are others within a block that fill thae bill real well of finer food. -

This place is really hovering between a 2.5 and 3, but what the hell. I'll round up.
We came here today for lunch cuz I was really craving some good pasta. In retrospect, I regret not going to my first choice, Cafe Med in Weho, but whatever. We were already in BH and didn't feel like making the drive.
Sat down outside, but had to move since the umbrellas weren't covering the blazing sun. At least the service was nice because the food was not worth the price.
I had the spaghetti with langoustine special. It was salty and I thought it came with grilled veggies, but alas no veggies. WTH. It came with a small langoustine on top of my pasta, and pieces of langoustine in the pasta. $24. Yeah, not cheap or worth the $24 in my opinion.
He had the Pappardelle al cinghiale (pasta with boar) which was quite earthy and heavy. I've had better boar elsewhere. It just didn't tantalize my taste buds. Nothing popped in this dish at all. We didn't much care for it, so took a few bites and packed the rest up to go. $20.
Lemonade- $4. Mostly ice. Eh.. it's Beverly Hills. That's about normal. Good thing I had ice water. I can't justify paying $8-10 for a bottle of flat water if I can get tap water for free. What? We're in a recession.
Total- $53.
Would I come back? 40%. I just have had better pasta elsewhere for a cheaper price.

Stopped in for Brunch with the family and really enjoyed it! We started off with the Gamberi special, ginormous prawn.....delish! My kids killed it! Then we had the grilled octopus and the proscuitto and burrata. The burrata was pretty standard, but the octopus was really tasty, and tender. The presentation was questionable, but I came to eat...so wasn't being too picky. My eldest had the whole grilled branzino, BEAUTIFULLY DONE! The other girls had chicken parm (she ate ALL OF IT!), bolognese (SOLID), and my youngest the tartufo pizza......TRUFFLE PIZZA need I say more?!?! Finally I ordered the veal tortelloni with mushroom..YUM! Over all a solid experience with a super friendly and attentive staff. Check it out! Family friendly!! :)

Came with a large party on a very exciting night for my cousin's birthday, had lots of great appetizers, what really stood out was the grilled calamari salad and the pizza, fantastic.
After far too many appetizers it was amazing we had room for the main course, but order we did and i decided to test one of the great break or makes, the lasagna, it made. Light and yet creamy, beautifully thin fresh pasta, i swear slightly al dente, which is insane. I was taking notes afterwards, i must recreate.
Now to the exciting bit, loud music, virtually no one else dinning (it was late, we had reservations for 9 pm, we're late eaters) and two guys start fighting, the normal, what were you attempting with my girlfriend? I think management was a little weak, not putting the fire out sooner, and everyone there was certainly uncomfortable, i did really want to leave at the end because of it. Had they handled that better they would have the 5th star. -

LA DOLCE VITA
I hope my boss isn't reading this, because then he'd know that my lunch meetings here tend to drag on for hours at this little slice of Rome tucked away in Beverly Hills.
The Italian caffe culture permeates this sun-kissed courtyard, where well-dressed patrons adorned with expensive shades sip espresso and engage in the time-honored Italian past times of not-so-subtle people watching and blissful lethargy.
Also, I don't know if it's because the Governator frequents this place or because they have some grandfathered permit, but my party was able to light up some nice cigars after lunch without any hassle.

meh. I'm sorry, but the food here is VERY mediocre. Not really up to snuff considering the price (I don't mind forking over that kind of money for a very good meal, but the food just wasn't cutting it). Pretty run-of-the-mill american, plain italian food.
