If I don't hear any English....I feel like I'm 40 miles outside of Firenze perhaps sitting in a Caffe 2 blocks from the town's main train station.
I don't know why I like this place so much afterall it's location is very American ('stripmall') next to the Post office and a dry cleaners.
Anyway I like it, the food is very authentic and the ambiance is well like the above. A fun little place to just hide out from the world for a while.

A nice non-chain coffee shop that also serves breakfast and has items for lunch and take out.
The tables are large and it never seems like anyone makes you feel like you should be moving on. There is classical music playing and a TV hanging in the corner on mute.
It's quiet enough that you can have a conversation or business meeting.
Since I've never eaten a full meal there, I can't really rate the food.
I usually enjoy grabbing a scone with my coffee. The scones are tasty and I drive out of my way to stop there for them.
I think the prices are reasonable for the value you receive. As a non-chain coffee shop, I'll give it 3 stars.
There are usually a couple of tables outside.
A friendly place run by authentic Italians. Casual, deli-style, but yet like an elegant coffee house. Breakfasts are fabulous, particularly the vegetable fritatta. Coffees are good too, and they stock soy milk for those who prefer dairy-free.

I just came back from an OK lunch at this place, but I vowed to never return. Why? The owners are consistently rude to all.
While I'm not a regular, I have been there over a dozen times, and each time I'm amazed at how they stay in business with their attitude towards customers. If you can put up with their undisguised disdain, their food is pretty good.
A lunch special of a protein (e.g. chicken picatta, fillet of sole) with vegetable and pasta sides is $9.95. They also have some yummy and very large baked goods in the morning. Their sandwiches, however, are puny and pricey and other pricing can be out of whack.
But, no matter, I'm not going back until it changes ownership.
