They have wonderful sandwiches, and will work very hard to make sure your food is exactly as you like it.  Hubby and I had some diet restrictions, yet we wanted a nice lunch out - the staff here were very accomodating, and the atmosphere is pleasant.  This has become one of our favorite lunch spots!

For some reason my parents enjoy coming here and I'm guessing its because its close to where they live and its "fancy" for Enumclaw.
But I've met them out here on three separate occasions. This last time I got my pasta and the sauce was luke warm, and kinda chunky like it was old.
    (Alfredo sauce shouldn't be chunky)
So I sent it back and when I got it back it was warmer old Alfredo sauce.

I forced myself to eat some of it down against my better judgment and later that night I was sick as a dog from food poisoning...

Maybe I've just been there on bad days Idk, but from what I've experienced McDonald's is looking like a better choice! (And I don't eat fast food!)

If you've ever been to Enumclaw, WA. you'll realize that there really aren't ALOT of choices to have a large group of adults meet for dinner on a Friday evening. So we chose Cafe Panini, we all thought Italian AWESOME! EHHH

We arrived at the resturant to be seated promptly and then sorta been ignored. They were VERY VERY short staffed, not only in the resturant but seemed to also be in the kitchen.

First they had no proper wine glasses for the wine that the group of us would consume on such an event. When the wine was finally situated and everyone was served drinks, our dinner orders were put in.

Soups and salads came out one at a time, with almsot 10 mins inbetween. If that wasn't bad enough the entrees were served also one at at time with the final dish coming out a good 20 mins after the first dish and the first part of our party had already finished eating.

The desert menu was a copied list of pies with checks, with half the checked pies still not available. It was a strange little resturant, with the feeling of being in a painted conference room, with italian pictures thrown on the walls.

They definatly need to get some more servers, and kitchen staff especially when they are expecting a group of our size (a tleast 12 of us), we even made reservations ahead of time.

It was a fun evening, with family, and we laughed everything off, but if I lived in the area I'm not sure I would be a repeat visitor.

Sorry to say, but Cafe Panini is now closed.  We tried to take some family here for a really decent and tasty lunch, however the place was dim.  We've drove past a few times, and even though all their stuff is still in there, the place looks forever closed.

Cafe Panini with your Italian leanings...you will be missed in a little town with few restaurants!

A very good lunch, best on our trip.  Service was good.  Desserts (we did not have) looked wonderful.  Place is larger than it looks.  As one person noted you do have to go through a storage area / hallway to the restrooms, not a biggie.  The bathrooms themselves are nice.

I liked that, though almost every table was full, it was reasonably quiet.

The food is good, the staff is friendly.

The atmosphere needs something... It feels like the place is brand new, hollow, and just barely furnished with the least expensive chairs they could find.

We order takeout panini's frequently and would love to see a menu online!

A large group of us stopped in for some warmth and food during the Wine Walk in downtown Enumclaw two Saturdays ago. Our entrance was staggered so that one or two people would come in every twenty minutes until our group of seven was reunited. We pushed tables together and were generally a little bit loud but the waitress and busboys were very accommodating. Four of us ended up getting the spaghetti bolognese. I usually try to get something that I can't make at home when I eat out but a member of our group highly recommended it. It was delicious and came with the perfect breadstick. My husband got linguine with mussels. It was so rich but wonderful. We ordered lots of wine and beer so our waitress kept having to rush over but she never seemed grumpy with us and I was thankful.

Good experience! We'll stop in again.

I am seriously concerned after eating here that I will eat nothing but Pie Goddess Pies for a month or more.... It will be a true test of my metabolism and if I will any longer be a size 0-2 after experiencing this extraordinary feat of pie.

I had the craziest Friday and was supposed to make it out here to pick some things up.  I didn't have a chance so that meant on Saturday I had to drive out here and do it then.  I was not all that happy about the entire situation.

We were driving up and down Cole St. trying to find which place we were going to stop.  That's when we saw it, a sign right around the corner from Cafe Panini that said, "Pie Goddess."  The heavens opened, the angels sung and I knew just as surely as God himself speaking an inner voice spoke saying I had to eat THERE.  When we got there we could see a woman hard at work with the most magnificent pies I had ever before laid eyes through the window  The sign directed us one door down to Cafe Panini where they served her pies by the slice.  This is how I came to dine at Cafe Panini.

I had a fantastic lunch of a 1/2 of Muffaleta and a cup of their house tortellini soup.  Both were very good.  I have had a better Muffaleta but for $7.95 and being Enumclaw I don't have one word of complaint.  My companion had the salmon fettuccine and it was quite good.

Now dessert.  We both made our way to the dessert case.  I never ever eat sweets, I just don't have much of a taste for them.  I was the one that made sure to say that we would NOT share and I would have my own piece.  This goes against the grain of Sarah in every aspect but the pie was just that insanely amazing crazy good looking.  Nate, my hero, and pie cutter suggested either the banana cream pie or the sour apple pie. I went with the sour apple pie, and my companion had cherry almond crunch pie.

My pie was like nothing i had ever seen. It had a thick crunchy cinnamon and nut topping across it, and the inside was made up of green apples and this creamy deliciousness enclosing all around them.  I can't even describe it... it was PHENOMENAL!!!!!!!!  Nate my hero, he "accidentally" mis-cut the pie and I got a piece 1.5 times the size!  I did not stop until the heaven was gone.  I couldn't even formulate words other then, Oh God, and this is amazing.  This pie could literally replace sex in my life.  I do not speak words like that lightly either.

Meanwhile our two top became for top with a couple next to us.  They knew the Goddess herself, personally and she came to our table.  I was star struck by the culinary powers within my presence.  I learned that she was on the Food Network's National Pie Bake Off.  Did she win?  Was she featured in the show?  I don't know and the suspense is still building.  The show aired last night as the premier.  So next time you are watching look for our very own Pie Goddess.

During my morning meeting today we were looking at maps on where we needed to make more impact.  I chose Enumclaw as a definite need for further saturation.  The Pie Goddess and the promise of her pie once a week made that decision.  Her pie is affecting my career it is that good!

The number one ingredient at Cafe Panini seems to be grease - at least the time I swung by.  Other than that, I don't have any big complaint.  The portions were ample enough, the price was good, and the ingredients were solid.  Solid, artery-lubricating/clogging fare.

(Their other sandwiches seemed to be a little less heavy on the stuff.  Next time I'm in Enumclaw, I'll be back to give them another chance.)

I've come here on a few day-trip dates over the years, and it's a great spot for three dissimilar culinary items:  pasta, sandwiches and pie!

The sandwiches are pretty good:  piled with ingredients and tasty.  The pasta is enjoyable, not amazing but quite good nonetheless.  The best thing is the homemade pie:  from-scratch crust, lots of berries and fruit, large pieces.  Take a pie to-go from the pie shop in the back!

I ordered take out, a panini with pasta salad and a slice of chocolate ecstacy pie.  I agree with Benjamin about the greasy food.  It is definately greasy.

The panini was good.  There were lots of black olives, as a garnish, in my pasta salad and in the sandwich.  From the menu it appears that they use their "creamy pesto" sauce a lot.  It was in my sandwich as well as the dressing on my pasta salad.  With that said, the sauce is pretty good.  The pasta salad had rtichokes which added a nice texture, but I could have gone for more garlic.

The pie was super rich.  It was like a mousse pie but more dense like fudge but extremely chocolatly.  I liked the crust that consisted of crushed nuts.

I'll come back again and try one of their entrees.

Dined here on 7/16/11 for lunch after treating ourselves to a spa day. Wonderful little cafe in the middle of town. My panini was super tasty. The other girls had AMAZING minestrone soup and to die for pasta. Split a bottle of wine and it was the perfect little lunch shop to end our spa day. Will be back with my husband for sure. Can't wait!

This place gets REALLY busy during the week and lunch time, however I am not stranger to Cafe Panini, I've been coming here for awhile. My favorite is the Hamlet Panini and the pasta salad. I've tried almost all the Panini's here and still the Hamlet is my favorite. The desserts here are pretty much AMAZIN!! I've never had anything I didnt like here....but I had the Cherry Pie this last time...OMG a lil piece of heaven right here on earth!! Since it does get busy I do suggest going here if you have some extra time on your hands....or call in your order for carry out. So far I've never got let down here...and will continue to come here. The service is great.

I came here for lunch the other day and had a half turkey panini (I can't remember which one) and a small spinach side salad. Both were delicious and fresh. The salad was lightly dressed with a mustardy viniagerette. The service was friendly and prompt. Great place for lunch if you're in the area.

Beautiful slice blueberry granola pie.  Could have been so much better if presented to us piping hot with a scoop of vanilla ice cream! I was expecting the overwhelming scent of buttery pastry shells and layers of cinnamon, cardamon, and  bubbling berries to  upstage the anticipated temptation of   advertised specialty of pasta fare.  Instead, the space felt cold and no aroma.  Service was friendly.  The view of the baker preparing pies in the restaurant's side exit window was charming.  Price was reasonable.

This is one of the better restaurants in Enumclaw, and the only Italian one.  The pasta dishes are good and they come with a salad or soup for a decent price.  The paninis are also excellent, and they have a good variety of paninis on the menu.  My favorite dish is the Chicken Artichoke Penni.  It has capers, chicken, and artichoke hearts.  It is broth-based so it's not too heavy - highly recommended.  The pies are good...but a little too pricey.

We are full time RVers, have written hundreds of reviews on restaurants coast to coast, border to border.  Others have used the word AMAZING; everything about the place is AMAZING!  This is our all-time favorite Italian restaurant.  AMAZING plain & comfortable ambience; no TV, no annoying background  music--just the quiet sounds of happy diners.  AMAZING service.  AMAZING food; spaghetti and meatballs (6 meatballs), Caesar salad, steak & gorgonzola over pasta, bread sticks--all the best we have experienced anywhere.  AMAZING low prices; our entrees about $12 each.

There was quite a bit of lunch selections.  It appears to be a popular joint for lunch.  I saw several parents with their kids in the restaurant.  The interior is decorated quite nicely.  The half panini and soup option is only 8 dollars so making it a good place for a lunch.

I have been here one time before and was not impressed. The 2nd time was even worse.  Simply went in for pie after dinner else where and our server took forever took get service we had to ask twice and the pie while delicious was over priced. Ill skip this place and go straight to the pie goddess next time.

No stars !  What a disappointing meal ! My friend who I was visiting ,had wanted to go there for a long time ... She treated me to what she hoped
was going to be a nice dinner. It has set a standard for an all time low !
We started with the spinach & ricotta tortellini soup .... NOT EDIBLE ! Imagine dirty salty dishwater with dehydrated camper style tortellini, oh but it did have nice julienned strips of carrot & zucchini for garnish. I ordered Salmon Madeira ... foolishly thinking I would get a piece of salmon glazed with a Madeira sauce. HMMMM NO! I  received a heaping plate of linguini (almost edible), with a few pieces of cooked spinach with 10 small bites of old browned salmon( not edible). My friend made the mistake of ordering the Eggplant Parmesan, the generous covering of cheese almost did  a good job of hiding  thin pieces of reheated eggplant that were overdone to point of almost becoming burnt. It was also not edible ! The service was terrible, the fact that the waitress was more interested in talking with the busboy (?) than actually waiting on her tables
did not go unnoticed ... as it was not a busy evening. We actually had to
ask for bread to be served with our meal no less than 4 times !
We will NOT be going back ....
