I am so glad I researched where we were going to eat our my mini-getaway to Naples. This was the first spot we ate at after a two hour drive and we definitely were not disappointed.

From the outside, it doesn't seem like much but I was totally convinced once I walked in. It is a very quaint bistro with a warm and pleasant ambience. The waitress was attentive and was ready to assist us right away. We went for lunch and it was pretty packed but the service was still right on. I ordered the crepe stuffed with turkey, brie, and spinach..delicious. My husband ordered a pastry stuffed with turkey, swiss cheese, and spinach and it was so big..it was really delicious but definitely too big for me. For dessert, we had the creme brulee which was absolutely scrumptious.

So glad we came here and I wish we were here longer to maybe go back for dinner. If you are in Naples, and like french food, this is the place to visit.

Cafe Normandie has phenomenal french food. My boyfriend and I were in Naples on vacation and found Cafe Normandie after scanning the reviews on Yelp (thanks Yelpers!). We weren't looking for anything fancy, just some good lunch.

From the outside, the place is indistinguishable from the every other strip mall shop, and we almost missed it completely. On the inside it didn't look like anything special to me either, but once I tried their food I was sold. I had the tomato soup, crepe with spinach, swiss and mushrooms, and then split the nutella crepe for dessert. Absolutely perfect. My boyfriend got the omelette sandwich and was a huge fan as well.

We liked Cafe Normandie so much that we went back the next day for lunch and ordered the same things all over again. Really great find.

This has always been a great "go-to" spot for breakfast (fresh croissants!) and lunch.  However, now they are also open for dinner and I am so glad.  I am in love with the roasted chicken and the roasted duck.  Just can't seem to order anything else.  My husband has a hard time choosing between the veal dish or the beef bourguignon.  The service is wonderful and friendly.  You feel like you are dining in a small country french cafe.

I have a hard time believing all these reviews are legit. This place is so far from quality/value that it's not even worth discussion. It is probably worthy of only 1 star but I'm giving it 2 out of mercy. Went here for lunch on 10/26. One of the strangest menus I have ever seen. Everything, and I mean everything, is $10. French onion soup is the only exception at $4.50. They list the same omelet twice - once under salads and again under sandwiches. Just weird. I had the croque monsieur. Cheap (bordering on tacky) ingredients. And tiny. It looked like a half sandwich. The side salad was dressed with what appeared to be plain oil. Ambiance? Zero. Service? 3. At the time of my review it is the #2 rated food joint on yelp in Naples. Really people? There has to be better in town. Waste of time & money.

Naples is the land of five stars these days, I guess. This romantic little cafe is a perfect replica of some place I would find in Paris. The menu is not far off either. Aside from the fact that they don't serve evian or Volvic, I could say it is about as authentic as it comes. The staff all speak in French to each other, what more do you want???

You can check out the menu online, although from what I could tell at this crowded little lunch-time spot (also has a dinner menu which I am sure is just as good) is that everything seems to be good.

The couple sitting next to me overheard what I ordered and after I cleaned my plate (I tried really hard to not eat everything on it, but couldn't help it!!!) they politely asked how it was. I said it was terrible and pointed to my empty plate. They laughed back at me and said their's was awful and then pointed to their empty plates!

I had the Saucisson Beurre, which was salami, gherkins and butter served on a perfect baguette. I was even a good girl and ate my spinach salad first, which btw, the vinagrette is very tasty.

The couple next to me who were equally satisfied with their meals had ordered the Tuna Sandwich and a crepe stuffed with salmon.

After we all smiled and licked our chops, we conceded that this is one of the best spots to lunch in Naples.

Whaaaaaat? Best place for lunch in Naples? Not.

We stopped here for lunch today because I've seen everyone give this place five stars for the outstanding food. I ordered the salmon croissant  and the bf ordered the Croque-Monsieur. Both come with a side consisting of a spinach salad and a slice of tomato.

My sandwich was fine, the croissant was different then the typical one you would buy from the store. The portion of smoked salmon was a good ratio, but I couldn't taste any of the lemon slices that was supposed to come with it. The Croque-Monsieur was a bit of a let down. It was basically a grilled cheese with ham in between two slices of white wonder bread.  For an additional $1, you can get béchamel sauce. The sauce was okay, nothing special.

The service was fair, there was only one other table and the place is small so it wasn't hard to get their attention. The portion's are a bit on the smaller side, but that's how most french food is.  While I didn't find anything wrong with our meals, I also didn't find anything mind blowingly awesome. Maybe we didn't order the right things...But regardless, I don't think I would revisit Cafe Normandie.  There are better restaurants on this side of town.

This little cafe is wonderful. My wife used to live in France, so we are always on the hunt for authentic French food. We decided to bring our three sons here for dinner and it couldn't have been better.

We were a little apprehensive at first look over the menu, because we thought it could be difficult to find something for the kids. We encouraged them to give it a try and they all ended up loving their meals. Such a great place to eat and far better than any American cuisine chain that are all over the place.

This wonderful spot provided great exposure to authentic French cuisine for our children! The staff was courteous and attentive, they even taught our boys some French phrases throughout the meal! Overall a great experience and not too far from what you would find in France!

BEST PLACE FOR LUNCH IN COLLIER & LEE COUNTIES

Well, I think so anyway. We came all the way down here from Fort Myers just for lunch, and once again, it was fantastic.

Again I had the "Saucisson Beurre" sandwich on a fresh baguette and it was delicious. I tried by wife's crepe with brie, mushrooms & ham and it was also excellent.

I'll have to come here for dinner sometime. I love this place.

I wouldn't say this is the Best place for lunch in Naples because i found the menu to be really simple  ( however the food was good) I do love the ambiance and the fact that you feel like you're in Paris as soon as you walk in through the door . I was delighted to finally hear some French here in Naples. I went to school in France and really missed the language. I will probably visit again but maybe i'll go for dinner next time ( I think dinner options were a bit better)

Came from Washington for a vacation on the beach and found this cafe by a complete accident.

The place resembles an authentic French cafe. It is owned by a Frenchman and serviced by French. The bread on sandwiches was to die for. The service was more than attentive. The food was authentic and very, very good. The bread, mmm... The deserts are excellent. If you want a real taste of "made in France" sandwich, definitely come in and try.

    ***Now called Cafe Normandie******
The French Deli is a piece of France in Naples....really, the food here is outstanding! Believe it or not, they actually import the dough for the bread from France....something about the water there....I don't know what it is, but the bread here is crunchy on the outside, soft inside, and sourdough perfection!
I am a creature of habit, so I always order the pate sandwich....It combines everything good and delicious...the bread, the pate, the side salad...YUM!
I will update this review when I return to Naples, as sadly, it has been long enough that I cannot remember what else is on the menu....but go here....the place is AMAZING!

Upon entering I was immediately transported to a cafe in Paris. Our lunch featured the simple but flavorful taste of real casual french food. We spent the bulk of our dining experience trying to guess words from the french pop music playing the background. We finished it off with a delicious warm chocolate croissant. Nous avons aimé notre repas et reviendrons bientôt!

This is a wholesome little Clos in the wall, near downtown.  The salads and quiche are the best, I think, because the ingredients are so fresh and the dressings are just right.  The chicken salad is a plate of grilled chicken pieces, mixed into fresh spinach leaves along with grated swiss, red onion, tomatoe, corn.  A perfect lunch!

Tried this on a whim my first day in Naples based on the positive reviews on Yelp. I absolutely loved it.

I went for dinner and had escargots and roasted chicken with dijon sauce. The bread was fantastic and the owner was not at all stingy with it. The escargots was fantastic and so was the chicken. I've never tasted dijon so good.

Overall the food was very good and the owner is very friendly and welcoming. The decor is very much reminiscent of a village cafe you would find in France and was very pleasant.

Yelp definitely got this right, you won't be disappointed.

How would you feel being serenated by Nat King Cole's "When I Fall In Love" while devouring your Boeuf Bourguignon with a glass of red wine from C'ote Du Rhone? The venue is quaint with Provence charm. The food is more on the side of comfort as prepared by a friend than an urban upscale joint with Top Chef Master. I did finished everything on my plate with satisfaction. The service leaves no room for complaint; attentive and genuine. Background exchanges and conversations in French among the owner, the server, the chef; the singer and even some of the patrons, enhanced the total experience even more, temporarily taking you to a small village somewhere in South of France. Again, you have to appreciate the place for what it is instead of comparing it to something that it's not even trying to be. I'm only here on business but if I'm in Naples again; I would return.

This place is utterly scrumptious.  My husband and I come down to Naples about once a year to vacation, and happened upon this lovely place completely by chance.  The food is fantastic and very authentic.  Very delicious pastries and baguettes as well.  Only caveat - they're not open normal hours all year long (we went in the summer and they were only open for lunch) but during the winter (when all the snowbirds come donw) their hours are longer.

While spending the weekend in Naples, my husband and I checked out Cafe Normandie for lunch on our way out of town and, after our experience, I can't wait to get back to Naples to try it for dinner.
I had the Quiche Lorraine that was truly one of the best I've ever had. I took half of it home because I was literally served a quarter of a quiche. The desserts looked to-die-for, but we just didn't have room.
Definitely a place we will revisit.

We made reservations at CN on our last night in Naples.  The restaurant is small and intimate, and the serves were attentive and knowlegable.  The food was to die for.  We started with the pear and chevre salad, which was prepared in an exquisite fashion and was delightful.  We followed that with the Seared Tuna with mashed potatoes and sauteed spinach (the special for the evening).  We hated to finish this course, so good was it.  We then had traditional Crepe Suzettes for dessert and they were a perfect ending to a marvelous meal.  This was by far the best eating experience we had in Naples and we expect to be regulars when we travel there.  We highly recommend this restaurant.  It is truely deserving of 5 stars.
