I have only been here three times, two for lunch and one for dinner. The lunch was very good, I had the french dip sandwich which is grilled steak on toasted garlic bread with an onion dipping sauce. Mine was yummy, I even got it again the second time I went for lunch, didn't even bother to try anything else, that's how good it was. The onion sauce is quite effective at keeping clients at bay for the afternoon, it was also the only thing on the menu not wrapped in bacon.. the fries are good too and I had a side salad, maybe a hint of wasabi in the salad sauce? I will go back there for sure.

Review from Manolo T.
Healdsburg, CA
Probably the worst dining experience in Sonoma County.
We were the only customers, which should have been a clue. The wine glasses were dirty, they we're out of Romaine (only Iceburg) and at least one of their steaks. The house salad is served with slices of American cheese!!! The ribs were burned, the steak overcooked, fatty and bathed in bland, boring, lumpy sauces. The "Scampy" was a tiny portion of bad shrimp. The peach cobler, even heated up, tasted straight out of the can with soggy crust..
The service was terrible (sloppy sweatshirt sleeves dragged through a salad, dirty plates left uncleared). And even though we were their only paying customers they actually flashed the lights on us to hurry us out, while a friend sat at the bar and blatantly watched us and eavesdropped on our conversation. I won't even go into the bathroom decor... Before we left they must have turned off the extractor fan, beacuse the whole restaurant filled with grease fumes.
To say the least, we will never return, in fact, I would warn people not to go. -

If I could give less than one star, I would. Food was terrible. Meat was loaded with gristle and totally inedible. Still have no idea what the "broth" was that is served with a french dip type sandwich. It tasted like a bowl of liquid salt. Service was very poor and we were the only one's there. Location is great, portions were fine... but the food was really bad.

As much as I like the owner, the food is mediocre at best. But the two lunch dishes they do good are Fish & Chips and Burgers...
