two words : fresh smoothies.
I don't know when or how but this place and jamba juice have completely replaced Starbucks and Dunkin as my go to snack/lunch time treats. Healthy and fresh, it's perfect marathon training/work lull pick me ups and I wanted to send a shout out to the crew here for hooking it up! Oh, and once a week, sharing a big cookie is pretty yum too! -

Being a strict vegetarian just ordered a cheese Quesadilla and got a chicken Quesadilla in return. Didn't find that out until returning back to office, went back to manager who was equally arrogant and at first refused to hear me after constantly repeating the problem the manager tells me "it happens maybe thats what you ordered for. evetually he returned the money. Is this customer service?
How can a chicken Quesadillas be sold as a cheese one? Aren't these things (Quesadilla) prepared and kept separately? Iam appalled and equally tormented by my experience. It seems there is no empathy towards vegetarians. -

over priced for average food. always tends to be busy and end up trying to avoid more people then it is really worth. salads are usually fresh but the toppings are just like all the other places around.

This was like a crappy version of Europa Cafe and thats not saying much. I only has a salad and soup there. They do have the best deal on a salad. You can put alot of the veggie ingredients in the salad while other palce usually charge you 50 per one. So I thought that was awesome.
I got the soup (lobster bisque) and damn that was terrible. I even asked a fellow customer because she got 2 and ask "IS that soup good", her answer "yes delicious, you should get some." So- it was actually pretty bad I had no idea what she was talking about or maybe she was just use to garbage. =(
The place was clean and yeah... Thats about it folks. Go here if your in a rush and you don't have many options. -

Are you kidding me???
$12.50 for a small prosciutto sandwich and a cup of orange juice!
Ridiculously overpriced.
This place seems to be catering to foreigners with exchange rates working in their favor. I think I was the only American customer in there at the time.
Avoid all Cafe Metros! -

Scarsdale, NY
Me and my mom came here for a quick bite before ravaging the fabric stores...
This place was so expensive! salad, soup, and 2 drinks.... 16 bucks! but i mean, i did get like 6 add ins in my salad....
Salad was fresh, mix ins were fresh, so i enjoyed my salad. However, my mom got the chicken chili and said it was extremely salty....
I guess its just a place where busy people get quick stuff to eat.... the hot foods looked good tho -

It's actually a 3.5, but for this one I'm rounding down.
I've been here countless numbers of times over the past few years. But the only reason I go is because I'm either A) lazy or B) unimaginative that day.
The food isn't that great.
The pasta can be good. The soup can be good. And the salad can be decent.
Don't get the pizza. Ever.
I like that the soup changes out daily, except for those times when I'm totally feenin' for some gumbo and they don't have it. And I like that they have a big selection, even though parts of it suck taste-wise.
Otherwise, it's yet another overpriced New York eatery. -

Manhattan, NY
This is an overpriced ripoff for below average food, I had some eggs whites with french toast and lemonade for breakfast and almost fleezed for 15$. The french toast tased awful and they tried to kill it by over powdered sugar.
Its seems more like a street cart where they want you to make up you mind quickly what you want order and get out of the way, if I wanted this kind of service I would have stopped by the street cart, why go in there and ripped off for 15$. They make money as a lot of people walk up from Penn station seem to stop and grab something on the way in/out and don'r care much about what they get as long as they make the train.
This place is a dump forget it... -

Flushing, NY
This place is so cute! They have a huge variety of food to choose from. The sandwiches are premade and on display so you can look at them before you choose which one you want. The thing I liked most about this place is the Coco Bay smoothie, which has pineapple and coconut.

Brooklyn, NY
The food is good, the menu has a nice variety of choices. However, its not the prices that you would pay at the local Pizzeria. They close rather early and at lunch time, its sometimes difficult to get a seat. But if you want a decent meal and you dont want fast food or wait a long time for the chain restaurants a few blocks up, this is a nice option.

New York, NY
it's really just like any other deli,
except from being a tad more posh, and located near t-sqr.
i call it cafeteria, because it's mostly students from parsons.
i like their pastas, but i think that's about it.
pizzas... i can go else where...
salads... i'd walk a little bit more to cosi.
never tried their deserts and stuff.
free over-night soggy bagels though, i guess that's a nice gesture...
