Checked this place out when we were looking for a place we had never been. It is in the Ramada Inn, all the way to the back, on the left. A smallish room for a restaurant, but it was empty of all but 1 guy at the bar. Still we sat outside and enjoyed a cooler evening. Waitress was super friendly and upbeat. My husband had the half and half crawfish and I ordered the bacon cheeseburger. We received nice portions and good food. The burger was gray and the meat didn't look entirely appetizing, but it was good. Flavored patty, nice dressings and the toasted bun was perfect! The onion rings were great. No a strong onion, but perfectly fried. Hubby was happy with his meal as well. The etoufee was different but good. We will be back.

This is a hidden gem in New Iberia that isn't very well known to many people. The restaurant is hidden inside the Ramada Inn hotel (2915 LA-14, New Iberia, LA 70560). If it weren't for one of the locals telling me about this awesome place, I wouldn't have even known it existed.
The food is excellent and the service is awesome, thanks Shay! They have a really good deal for happy hour- 2 for 3! I would recommend the oyster Po-boy or the crawfish half and half.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Amy S.New Iberia, LA12015Jan 6, 2016
Yelp is so helpful at finding hidden gems like this restaurant! I otherwise would have never known Ramada even had a restaurant...but I'm so glad we tried it out because everything we got was delicious and perfectly seasoned. I haven't had good crawfish étouffée like that in a good while. Was impressed with the menu selection, and prices weren't bad either. The only bad thing I have to say is that the service is really slow-to none, but that is because there was only one waitress doing everything, so it's understandable. Will definitely go back to try more menu items.

This is the hotel restaurant at the Ramada Inn New Iberia.
I travel to Louisiana for work, and for leisure fairly often. I always take pleasure and enjoyment in finding the best food in the area. The local stuff.
I'm a foodie, I suppose.
On my first night in New Iberia, I was too tired to go anywhere else, and it was a Monday, and late, which means a lot of the local joints were closed.
I decided to eat at he hotel. How bad could it be, right?
The Cajun dinners at this hotel restaurant were too friggin notch!!!
I have been eating crawfish Étouffée for many many years. I worked in a Zydeco bar and lunch counter in Texas, I know how to cook Cajun food. I have eaten it all over Lousiana.
This restaurant has the best, absolutely the best Crawfish Étouffée that I have ever had. It is simply perfect.
I have eaten a lot more Cajun food at some local lunch counters here in town while I have been here working.
There is some wonderful food and hospitality in this town. I really like it here.
Try this hotel restaurant! The service is minimal. But the dinner food is great.
I also ate there again for dinner last night, skipping ping elsewhere. Because it's great right here! I had a stuffed catfish with Cajun shrimp "Alfredo" style stuffing and sauce. It was also very good.
I am excited to eat at the hotel restaurant again tonight for my final beautiful crawfish étouffée.
All real Louisiana crawfish tails. Big good ones. Perfectly cooked. Lots of onions. Nice buttery sauce. Not too salty. Perfectly seasoned. Perfect heat. Perfectly cooked rice.
I only took off one star for the kinda slow service and the very plain hotel restaurant environs.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Denis V.Paris, France029Sep 20, 2018
I went for the crawfish : simple and tasty. Don't look for sophisticated dished, that's not the place for that. Stay away from the wine they offer : it doesn't even have the colour of wine.

Worst damn breakfast I ever had on my life they can't even cook your eggs to and for two of us it took thirty five minutes to get it and the place was empty

I am staying at a hotel across the street and decided to see what this restaurant has to offer. It's not a fancy place and there are no signs indicating this hotel has a restaurant. I knew of the restaurant when checking on hotels in the area. It seems that the patrons are guests staying at the hotel.. The restaurant is clean and the food is good. I had the hamburger steak, loaded baked potato, corn on the cob. Everything was cooked/seasoned well and arrived hot. It is what I hoped for coming here. This is real food, not the processed stuff. Definitely will be a go to for good food. There is one person waiting tables, another helped being out food. I never went without. Shay was my waitress and she was quick and made sure I had everything I needed. My only complaint is the cold croutons. I started with a small salad and the croutons were cold and soggy. Thats good that that is my only complaint.

Cozy little restaurant located in The Ramada Hotel. The best burgers I've eaten in all of New Iberia.
