Hot, tasty, fresh, fast, and cheap--what more could you ask for in a lunch?  Cafe Groppi serves up excellent salads and sandwiches and sells them for about fifty percent less than its local competitors.  It also has an extensive selection of beverages, including an espresso bar.  My personal favorite items are the pannini with pesto-marinated chicken, fresh mozzarella, and roasted red peppers.  The bread is crispy and pressed to perfection, and all sandwiches come with a pickle and choice of snack for around $6 and change.  The make-your-own salad is also a very good deal here, especially compared to other places that charge per each salad topping, although I've found that some of the ingredients are crudely cut, so I wish they would offer the option to get your salad chopped.  The iced tea and iced cappucino are also strong and made well.  Service is lightning fast.

A new place downtown that adds to the very few places around.  Just picked up a California wrap (grilled chicken, greens, roasted red peppers, avocado, mustard, and tomatoes).  Tastes pretty good so far.  They also have a mini bakery so I had to pick up a chocolate chunk cookie with walnuts (haven't tried it yet and it's not too soft so won't be falling apart when I take it to my 2pm meeting :-) )

Currently there are offering some grand opening specials -- free coffee with breakfast purchase and free can soda or water bottle with lunch purchase of over $5.50.

Service was quick and friendly.  Will have to make a couple more visits to see if this place is a keeper but for today it's get 4 stars!

For what it is...an inexpensive quick service sandwich/salad/cafeteria this place gets the job done.

It is not fancy and the food is not the best in the area but if you are on a budget this place is the best...you can get a salad and can of soda (or bottle of water )for about $6.  That price can not be beat anywhere nearby.

Everything is average including the salads, sandwiches, and baked goods.  However the price is right and the staff is friendly....as a result I find myself there quite often.  Don't expect more than I described above and you will walk away happy.

I nice bonus is the well kept little public dining room above the storefront...it is clean and a nice place to relax away from the office.

The staff is super friendly and the prices are better than anywhere else around.  Great selection of drinks, although they do lack Pepsi Max.
