SO MANY OPTIONS!!! =) Lots of tasty foods here. Prices are in between inexpensive and moderate, depending on what you get. Definitely, a great place to catch up with friends. Just wish it was in a better location. .

This restaurant is tucked away in one of the separated buildings at Moreno Valley Plaza Shopping Center. (It's not in the strip of buildings.)

I decided to try this place out to see how other restaurants' boba drinks were.

The inside is a little cramped. The dining area is shaped like an "L" where part of it is to the left of the cashier's area and the other part is in front of it next to the entrance.

The cashier was not friendly (though not mean or anyhting like that), but that's no problem for me. I just figured I'd point that out for those that don't like non-friendly cashiers.

I ordered the mango snow boba drink. It was ready after about five or so minutes. While I was sat at one of the tables near the entrance, I noticed the table next to me had not been cleared out. Not sure how long it had been like that, but the restaurant did not seem to be busy. (I think I came in around 3:00pm.)

The drink was pretty good. It tasted more like mango juice with ice than mangos, ice cream and ice. The boba was pretty good; not hard or runny. I wasn't able to finish the whole drink, so I put it in the fridge when I got home. When I went to finish it the next day the drink had separated. (Orange foam floating on top of a clear liquid with the boba at the bottom.)

I've lived here for a few years now and never noticed this place until a friend recommended it. Their prices are standard. Drinks can range from $3.25 - $5. In terms of food, I've purchased the chicken teriyaki bowl which is $4.50 and I'm usually picky about food, but this item is quite satisfying. The rice is moist and the amount chicken is perfect. Considering there aren't many boba places around the area, I give it 4-stars. But in terms of customer service, they're not very welcoming. Every time I've been there, not once have I seen an employee smile or greet a customer. Also, when I leave they never say "thank you! come back again!" or show any gesture indicating that they want you to come back. So 2-stars for customer service. Hence an overall 3-star rating.

The name of this place is so eye catching and the first thing that came to mind when I saw this place, was pretty little liars.

I am so happy to finally find a place with delicious Udon soup.  Its hard to find a restaurant in Moreno valley, that offers flavorful udon soup for under ten dollars. This place has good service (although at times it can be slow) and a clean and friendly environment.

The only complaint i have is one time my strawberry slush was WAY too sweet, and trust me I'm a candy junkie. Me and my friend couldn't even finish ours  half way because it was so sickeningly sweet and we actually had to have to chug water like crazy to feel better.
But even after our mini water detox, I was brave enough to order the mango slush and that came out find :).

Tip: Don't get boba with your slush, because it will freeze and turn into a hideous brown color.

    GeeeZ this sucks I been
Going there since grand opening and tonight was my last time going back. Raised their price by 65 cents a chicken bowl we were rushe out with 25mins till close time. Quality is still there but come cafe gossip if you can't keep the prices low don't open a new location and make the customers pay for it by raising the cost of the product. Was nice while it lasted.

I was introduced to my sisters who were friends of friends of the people who owned this place about four-five years ago; it's really interesting to see how they've grown.

It's nice that Moreno Valley has a Korean/Japanese fusion joint to eat at, since most of the Asian places we have are Vietnamese Pho or Chinese.

They've had so many upgrades and additions to the menu within the past two years so I assume their business is getting much better!
It's a popular place for teens in the area; it's very welcoming and cheap enough for college/high school students. They also have lots of combos and dishes for $5.

Their boba is also good as well. I always get my taro boba or white chocolate mocha when I'm feeling more on the chocolate. Their eskimo pies are yummy, although I don't know if they sell those anymore since it's been so long since I've had one. Do try the green tea ice cream! It's a must.

My favorites are usually the chicken bowl, beef galbi, and the wonton soup. I love that I can call in and order and pick it up when I'm tired and starving from work or school. They never fail me!

If you're a local and haven't tried this place out yet, now is the time!

I usually order the Korean BBQ but decided to try their Orange chicken.

PROs: Great value for the price.  The chicken was hand-battered -- or at least tasted like it.  And there were tiny bits of REAL orange in the sauce.

CON:  While the food is yummy - we had a hour + wait for take-out.  Much too long for this type of food.  They ended up throwing in free appetizers - however, it still wasn't worth the wait.  While the price was cheap - if you factor in time (and we all know time is money) - it ends up being a less great value.

This family owned bright little boba cafe is great for getting your korean bbq/udon/boba fix. For the price you pay, the food is really good. I usually end up getting udon, or one of their combo plates (mmmm chicken katsu!).

On a more random note: Everytime I go there I take a look at the polaroid wall they have, which has polaroids of all the regulars.Cute! They also have a little magazine table, so if you're flying solo, you can flip through 'em while you eat.

Nice service. Menu is typical for korean BBQ place but the food tastes great. You can call ahead as many people do since it can get very busy during lunch hours and dinner.

The taro & honeydew milk tea boba are my favorites although it seems more like a slushy than milk tea freezing the boba at the bottom. The beef bowl and spicy bowl are what I like and the rice is cooked well and they don't skimp on the sauce.

The food is great for a decent price I just wish they would change their oval tables and cheap rocking chairs to something a little bit nicer.

I was really happy to find this place. I just moved from the Arcadia area, and they have a million little shops that serve Boba and Korean/Japanese BBQ, but this is the first one i've really seen out here. The food is awesome, as it usually is at these tiny family owned places, and I ended up getting more then what I expected when my food came. I couldn't even finish my food. Prices are about $5-6 for a plate, and about $3 for a boba slush. The people were super friendly and I will be coming back here often.

After reading such rave reviews about this place promising good food for good price .. just like bad gossip, it fails to deliver.

On my way to the counter for a menu I noticed pictures of entrees taped to the counter, quickly the owner scurries to take my order with his pen and paper not giving me a moment to myself to order .. oh how I hate being rushed....

I didn't see thai tea slush on the boba menu and asked whether he knew how to make it .. so swiftly he nods his head and so swiftly I ordered 2.. mediums .. it was enough to make me cry not only did it have no taste of thai tea the tapioca pearls were dry .. chewy .. hard .. maybe the food will be less disappointing. SYKE .. "kalbi ribs" "orange chicken" by far the worst ribs ever 8.95 for a large slab of fat and 5.95 for uncooked battered chicken with weird ginger not really orange sauce

Let's just say after dinner I was so against this propaganda they call korean food and boba I created this account so not another soul suffers this blasphemy

This is a neatly decorated little joint in a pretty beat down lot but the food is pretty good.  For the price that you pay, the food is quite worth it.  You usually end up wobbling out of the little cafe.  They serve Korean BBQ / Japanese bowls and the different slushes and boba drinks.  The one problem I have with this place is that I have never been greated with a smile or welcome.  The attitude of the cashier/workers has always been..."okay, you're here, what do you want and hurry."  One thing to remember, bring cash is your order will be under $10.  ATM and credit will not be accepted if it is below that amount.

I work near the place so I'm frequently object to the smells of co workers take out from here.  It smells good, but the taste doesn't live up...especially for the price.  Yea.  The attitude of the staff doesn't help to justify the price either...quite the opposite.

Oh and...it's a Korean place right?  Where's my Bulgogi?

This place has great boba tea drinks. This is reason alone to go and sometimes I go just for this treat. The food is priced well and made to order. Korean BBQ typical but kinda fast food priced and fast service. Nice people and the outdoor seating is nice too. little shop charm. I like the BBQ pork. Check this place out!

i think this place (and now portillos) is the talk to the town. my family has been ravin about the delicious food, generous portions, and friendly service at this little mom 'n pop joint. nestled in the once thriving sunnymeade shopping center, close to big lots, cafe gossip services delicious asian fusion dishes in a fast food setting. great korean bbq, some chinese and japanese dishes, and really good boba teas and slushies. my parents made friends with the owners and their family, and visit several times a week. they brought me here and i had a safe chicken teriyaki bowl, but it was so big and good. msg-ish, but i didn't swell up, and i washed it down with a great almond boba tea (the boba was a bit rough, but chewable). and you know what they say about asians eating in an asian restaurant (this can be applied to any group of color): they know what's up.
