    Oui oui!

Cafe Campagne is a brilliant little date spot. It's cozy (not especially comfy, but I'll deal), romantic, pretty. Definitely a nice place to take someone you are wanting to impress a little bit.

The food is delish, and I'm not exactly a particular fan of French food. (Too rich for me, generally.) But the food here was wonderful, and perhaps I learned to moderate myself and not overdo it? Nah, it was probably the champagne.

Seriously, fellas: if you want to take your lady out and make her feel like you put a lot of thought into it, this is a great spot for that. Do it!

I had cappucino with a ham and guyere cheese with fried egg on top. It was delicious and the egg was perfectly cooked, and oozed on the sandwich.  The greens were delicious too. The wife had smoked salmon with creme fraiche and other delicious toppings, I could see capers and olive oil, salt, pepper, kept simple. The salmon pate was nice and the smoked salmon was house-smoked. Very nice. Followed up with creme brulee and a chocolate cheesecake with orange.  Both very delicious!

I only reserve 5 stars for the very best, which even if I never eat again I will always remember. This isn't on that level, but if I could give 4.5 stars I would. Highly recommend!

A meal that had its sparkling moments was dampened at the outset with inconsistent, at one point bizarre service, and at others with middling food.

I arrived here with a gift card and a reservation, and when we were seated, was put in a table right next to the kitchen door with the most foot traffic.  The worst seat in the house.  The place was 1/3 full.  Upset about the unnecessary placement, they finally moved us after a while, and now I can kvetch about the food.

For the most part, the food was pretty good.  I had this really great coq au vin - the meat was really tender, but what's up with half of it being beans?  Likewise, the mussels were great - and absolutely huge.  However, the apps that were pushed, in particular, the pate, was just boring, hard, and really not very tasty.  If you're going to market yourself as an outstanding French restuarant for an allegedly foodie town, you best be bringing it every night.

Dessert too, was just ok, and unmemorable.

If you're spending hard-earned money, I would just bite the cost and go to Chez Shea, which is where I originally had reservations.  Now I'll never know what it was like there...

Can't togo food which was annoying. Their calamari is a good dish and the butter/garlic juice that's left over is PERFECT for dipping your bread. The toast and egg with foie gras sauce was impressive to look at but the taste fell flat for us. the guyere sandwich was awesome! the cheese was hard and crisp and we loved that.

We came here for brunch on NYE day. The settings are rustic and warm. The staff is aloofly helpful, which I find adds to the French bistro vibe. I ordered the poached eggs and it came with this sublime foie gras/red wine sauce on top of thick slices of toast and was accompanied by pommes frites. YUM!!!!! My date ordered the scrambled eggs with herbs and it arrived with delicious chicken/pork sausage (this is how it was described on the menu, so I'm not sure if it's mixed or if you get either/or) and half of a toasted baguette. Also DELICIOUS!! A great way to start the new year :) We will be coming back.

An inviting atmosphere and excellent service, but I was not impressed with the food. Perhaps it was just this day that our group had a very average experience?

I came here with 5 others for brunch and the three of us ordered OEUFS EN MEURETTE, and the other two ordered the Omelet.

Ouefs En Meurette: Sauce is actually very good, but I thought the rest of the items on this plate made this dish taste quite rich. After two bites, I just could not finish the rest. It was just too much for me.

My bf (who is an omelet fanatic himself) and one other friend who ordered the omelet mentioned that the omelet itself was way too bland and had no flavor at all. They left more than 3/4 of it untouched.

But our waitress was fabulous. We were initially told that they could not split the check for us but she did so for our table anyway so I'm very appreciative of that fact.

    Ambiance - Very nice
    Service - 5+++++
    Coffee - good.
    OJ - good.
    Food - So so.

I had to text my best vulture bud: "Lamb burgers brunch cafe campagne get here now not waiting for backup".

As good as I remembered, juicy and rare.  Perfect pile of frites.

Black tea as a concession to it being morning, the first official meal of the day.

    Happiness.

Lamb burgers for brunch again!  Mimosa!

Done rare, with a pile of frites.  Aioli to dip.   Heaven.

It was pretty busy on a weekend morning, and sometimes you have to scooch the tables around to fit in, but well worth it.  Even though it was hopping, the staff was quick and pleasant.

Well worth a trip down to the Market.

    Dear Café Campagne,

I cannot dumb down my love for you anymore.  When my Facebook check-ins involve being in your presence almost weekly, I realized my original review was in dire need of an update. You've deserved so much more from me...

The truth is, I think you're amazing! You make me feel like I'm in Paris again.

There are important things you have taught me in life, such as how to appreciate and become one with Dijon Mustard. You showed me the way with your Comte de Gruyere and your Levain bread.  You've delighted me with your arugula salad with a vinaigrette nobody can detest.  Your pommes frites are the best hidden secret in this city. By the way, if people knew how good your frites were I'd never get in.  So, let's just keep that our little secret since I can appreciate getting a table on your patio for a nice lunch on a warm sunny Friday, without too much hassle.

You are truly, truly, one of my most favorite places in this entire city. How I love you so...

So Café Campagne, vous etes incroyables, my love.  Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.

    Forever yours,
    Tanya

We have been eating here for 14 years and it is one of our favorite places. We have been here for dinner, lunch and brunch and it is always consistent. Very rustic french food--which means not many vegetarian choices. It is a crowded noisy cafe that really does feel like you are in cafe in Paris or anywhere in France for that matter. The acoustics in the room are good so you will be able to hear your dinner companions. We have always had good service each time we have visited. Love the cassoulet which wasn't on the menu the last time we were there! Going again this week--can't wait.

It was a pleasant, sun-rising late-morning sometime last week that I decided to poke in here and see what she's about:

Food: Very good. The bread n butta. The lamb burger (recommended by Corianna and cooked preference) and accompanying fries... the fries had a nice thick texture to them and ALWAYS love skin left on fries (fiber, ftw!). The lamb was simply good with subtle flavors.

    Service: Pleasant and nice.

Ambience: Comfortable and warm; perhaps more-so outside during the same time and evenings.

Came here for Seattle Restaurant Week with my sister.
I don't really know French food at all, so just a warning.

It was fairly empty at around 630, so we were seated fairly quickly and our server got our drinks and everything started quick as well.

Our appetizers came out blazing fast, and it included rilletes de porc; potted pork with dijon mustard on top of croustades. It kind of reminded me of pate in some sense, but not completely. Nonetheless it was a really delightful spread for the croustades. My sister got the haricots verte en salade, or green beans dressed in a lemon vinaigrette/shallots, and topped with bacon. It had a perfect level of acidity and overall, both appetizers were great starts to our meals.

For our entrees I decided to get the beef bourguignon, a lovely, warming beef stew topped with onions, mushrooms, and bacon :))). My sister grabbed the confit de cuisse de canard. Those, potatoes, were AMAZING. Ahhhh oh my lord. Just, so good!

Desserts included the financier and their creme brulee. Perfect way to end a meal.

We ended up dropping $105 with tip even though it was restaurant week, because my sister got two glasses of wine and ordered a platter of pate... I HAD to say I was treating that night.... ugh.

Overall however, great food, great service, and lovely wine.

It's A-OK. It's mediocre french food. I went for brunch - a post Seattle marathon brunch. Not me silly, I wouldn't run that much unless someone is paying me.

I had something so forgetful, I think I forgot. No, almost. I had the croque madame.  The greasiest one ever but the flavors were dead on, solid.

My buddies both had the burger. It looked ah-ight. I may have chosen better.

The thing that docks points isn't the food. I mean it was brunch, how mind blowing can brunch be? (I've yet to experience a mind-blowing brunch just yet) The thing that does dock points is that we waited over 40 minutes for our dishes to land. Had I known better, I would've gotten an app.  I sat there slowly feeling my stomach gorging on itself as I waited, and waited. I am happy to wait 20 minutes, I know I didn't come to McDo. But seriously, anything over half an hour, for not so complicated dishes, I have to dock points.

    Thanks for coming!

My husband and I ate here several years ago, and I couldn't wait to come back.
Just went in for their Happy Hour.  It was great.  First, the service is excellent, and friendly.  Their 1/2 carafe house wine is a real steal, and delicious.  We were surprised when we were eating their mini lamb burger that we actually got so many bites out of it!  The simple gruyere cheese, baquette, and brandied currents, was surprisingly delicious.  The currents were perfectly infused, and went so well with the cheese.

I've been here a couple times... Once for brunch and once for dinner.

Dinner was okay. They were attentive and the food was good. But it was a tad too rich for my liking. I mean, I know it's supposed to be rich but I think it detracted from the balance of the flavors of the food.

Brunch, on the other hand, was a different topic. It's been months and I'm still talking about the omelette I had here. It's a FREAKING omelette. You'd think I'd be over it by now but no... I can't look at my homemade ones anymore. It's THAT perfect. Also, the red wine foie gras sauce that came with the oeufs en meurette? I wanted to swim in it. I will definitely come back for breakfast sometime.

Extremely boring food for the price.  I had the sauteed mushrooms; they were bland, lacking salt and swimming in an uninviting homogenous pool of butter.  The green beans were too heavy on the lemon and parsley, which masked the taste of the green beans themselves.

This would all be tolerable, except for the WINE.  The wine was lifeless, flat, watery, uninteresting.  They could do a lot better with their wines by the glass selection.

Nice experience in French dining.  Seven in our group, so we got a wide variety.  Dined on a Christmastime week- night, so it wasn't crowded.  Ambiance OK, though nothing special. Good waitress.  Two of us had the half chicken -- absolutely superb.  Also good reviews on the trout;  not so good on the sausage dish.  Pate was excellent and desserts were all good.  All is very French -- nice time.  Definitely will go back.

Cute French bistro with great service! What a gem! Fois gras (anything) on a brunch menu ... I'm there! It totally did not disappoint. I had the oeufs en meurette and it came with a large basket of homemade fries. So there are two poached eggs on a thick piece of toast for which there is *un petite detail (read disclaimer) on consumption of undercooked items but really they are poached eggs so if you like poached eggs, it's always a possibility. This dish filled me up and was sooo delish!

I'd go back here next time I'm in Seattle, and it's just a short walk from Pike Place Market!  We went in a bit after they'd opened and still had some tables. Make a reservation if you're coming in for an optimal lunch or dinner time.

I Really would have totally give this place 5 stars but the longer I sat there, unattended and food taking a really long time the stars went down.  The food was really good, thats for sure but Im not sure if they were low on staff that night or what.  I felt like we kept on getting passed by.  We didnt get greeted by our server for about 10 mins after sitting down.  I was ready to order the moment I walked in.  So after she finally comes over to take a drink orders, it takes another 10 mins for the drink to come back and take our order.  The appetizer came out pretty fast but it was about another 30 min before the entree came out.  Then she had to come back to take out dessert order.  Our reservations were at 6:30.  We didnt get out of there until 8:30.

For 2 people that already knew what they wanted to order I think we could have been in and out of there in 1 hour or 1.5.  If i was on a date i wouldnt mind but we were with our 2 year old was with us and he cannot sit for that long.

My husband said fine dining is not suppose to be fast service or food. But I'm thinking if I pay that much, should I be wondering where is our server and when is she coming back?  I dont think so.

Came here on Sunday afternoon, the place was packed.  There were 8 of us, and we ended up getting split into 2 tables of four.  As we were seated separately, my cousin asked if the check could be split - one for each table.  The waitress who he asked (not the one who was actually serving us) started bickering with him back and forth about the concept of split checks and "group" versus "split seating".  It was rather ridonkulous.  At the end, they agreed to split the check by the table (still charging us the mandatory 20% gratuity, which I can tell you now was ridiculous based on the lack of service we got).

You would have thought that was the end of it, but no.  The waitress felt the need to come back and justify who-knows-what about the whole "party" thing, telling us that it's our own fault that we picked a popular place for our late afternoon dining without making reservations first.  Really - I have no idea why she felt like she had to get in the last word especially after they had resolved the issue and technically, she had moved on.  So much for customer service!

The food was good, but they do have a pretty limited selection on their one-paged menu.  I had the French French Toast which consisted of huge slices of brioche dipped in their light egg batter, served with a few slices of fruit ($11).  My husband got the lamb burger which came with a huge helping of fries on the side.  If you're looking for big brunch selection (served daily until 4), this is not the place to go.  My water, by the way, was never topped off once by the wait staff.  They topped off water for everyone at the table at least once except for mine - I have no idea why not.

I've been here before, but never experienced such terrible service.  There are so many other places to go when you're at Pike Place (for a lot cheaper too!), I recommend checking those out first before finding your way here.

Great place to take a long term friend, however all things combined it was just so so. The ambience is so so, I was confused a little as it seemed casual at moments but then seemed very formal (the waitress gave the formal attitude) But It seemed slow, there were kids at the table next to us and it just didn't have the feel I was looking for.

As an appetizer, we had the Boucherondin de Chevre. Its one of the best preparations I've had of goat cheese and if I had come simply for this appetizer and wine I'd been completely satisfied. However we were dining at waht we thought was a nice Seattle restaurant.

For our meal we ordered the Calamari Provencal which was very tasty. I had never tried "un fried" Calamari but the flavors were great. We also tried the Lamb burger which was not the best I ever had, it seemed a tad bit dry but the sauteed onions atop were a great touch. I usually ALWAYS go for dessert but we opted out due to the so so-ness of our meal. For the price I would say its not worth it, and in case you are wondering I'm not a cheapo I just would rather spend my money elsewhere...

Every year or so when I tire of the same old brunch places I remember that I love Cafe Campagne. Why do I forget, because I'm getting old, but I digress. Cafe Campagne recognizably French (e.g. croque monsieur/madam, oeufs, baguettes) but not pretentiously so. It's like someone took a cafe right out of Paris and transplanted it to Pike Place Market in Seattle.

This past weekend I was there my friend and I managed to snag a table without a reservation and with no wait, which is no mean feat.  I really enjoyed my oeufs (that's eggs, but in French, where there are apparently no consonants) with spinach and goat cheese and the spicy sausage with it. A nice step up for your usual omelet/scramble you can get at most restaurants - especially the creamy goat cheese part. It's hard to explain but you can tell they use nicer ingredients than your average place serviced by one of the mega-food-supply-conglomerates.

The service was amazingly good considering how busy they were, they didn't rush us out, despite the massive line out front - sorry everyone who was waiting (but not really).

The only downside is how loud this place can get, and slightly cramped, when it's totally at capacity. But that's a small price to pay for the great breakfast. Oh, and it's in Pike Place market, so tourists abound and parking can be a challenge, but it's worth it - especially if you have out of town guests.

It's also worth writing a review if this is going to be your 300th review, so there's that too!

If you are a traveler on a tight schedule, like me, sitting down in this place is like a gamble, you may end up waiting for 45 minutes and still don't get served anything except for water maybe, not even the bread.

I looked around me, other guests that arrived after us had started eating already, and I didn't think our order were that much harder to make. So we ended up walking out, because of this miscalculation we didn't have time to eat a decent lunch, which really sucks because it was our first time in Seattle and Pikes Place.

I gave it a 2 star for the relaxing and vacation-like ambiance.

This french bistro has one of the best pommes frites in Seattle. I am also a huge fan of their croque monsieur and croque savoyard, smeared with their award winning mustard--delicious!

Cons: Service can be slow at times even if it isn't very crowded. Also, the waitstaff at this place usually have a jaded expression on their faces. Smile, you might get a bigger tip! :)

I've started bringing all my out-of-town guests here for brunch.  It's the perfect place because the food never disappoints and it's so close to Pike Place (every tourist wants to go there).  I think the ouefs en meurette and the quiche are still the two best things on the menu.  The quiche wins out ever so slightly because I've never had fluffier, more delicious quiche anywhere.  The flaky buttery crust is the best I've ever had too.  Seems like the quiche is always vegetarian, but I never miss meat when there's so much cheesy, savory, richness to be had.

The wait can be very long, so make reservations in advance on OpenTable!

"Are you serious?" asks the server with a tattoo on her right shoulder.

Yes, very serious. I wanted to ask her the same thing for the entire hour of our visit, but I contented myself with walking out the door.

This is the only time I can recall ever walking out on an order.

It's our first day in Seattle, and we are starving. Cafe campagne gets high reviews, so we walk our way over there and pop in. There are no tables left, and we take seats at the counter.

We order granola and yogurt, French toast, and salmon. We are told five minutes after our order that they were out of salmon. At this point they had only been open for about two hours, so I found this utterly ridiculous. Instead, we ordered some ham and cheese sandwich.

An hour goes by, and nothing but water. Oh, strike that. They gave us butter and syrup for nonexistent French toast. They actually gave us HALF a serving of syrup.

While waiting for our food, one girl dropped and shattered a glass, two chatted it up with some guy, one messily poured syrup into a small container, leaving drops of it all over the plate, another poured Tabasco into a container, letting it spill all over the side before serving it that way, and another poured orange juice into a glass, letting the juice run down the outside without wiping it up.  SLOPPY!!!!

After an hour, I noticed that the man next to me, the man who arrived AFTER me, had just FINISHED his lamb burger. Really?? And the girl at the other end of the counter who barely sat down was digging into her poached egg breakfast. Burger? Poached eggs?? How are these prepared FASTER than YOGURT AND GRANOLA and a sandwich??? And for people who came after us?

    Are you serious???

Had a b-day brunch here for SIL with the 'rents.

Cute location and steps from the Market made it an ideal location for a Sunday summer outing with three generations of family.

Food was delicious but could very easily put one in the cardiac ICU if you make a habit of it.  The butter....the cheese.....the bread....this is heaven.

Servers were very attentive however the rhythm felt off.    Staff replenished our tea and butter without us even noticing but still things sort of dragged on.   Not sure what the problem was but there were long gaps where nothing happened and then at the end it felt rushed.
(Get your minds out of the gutter people).

It really was a great brunch though.   Upscale enough for those who need upscale and casual enough to bring the kiddies.     Nice enough place to bring an out-of-towner without looking like you're trying too hard to impress.

Lots of tempting things on the dinner menu - we will be back!

    HARD TO PRONOUNCE BUT GOOD!

Cafe Campagne is steps away from Pikes Market and is the perfect place to take a break to enjoy some yummy french cuisine.  The plates on the menu are in french so I just read the descriptions and pointed when the waitress came around =)

I ordered the poached eggs that sat on top of a crispy toasted garlic crouton (looked like a french toast at first) with balsamic-y vinegar-y wine-y sauces that covered everything.  Mushrooms and soft onions are part of this dish and it was VERY good =)  I recommend you to eat it quickly or the liquid makes the toast soggy.  *drool*

It also came with a huge side of parmesean fries that could be shared.  Fries were a bit limp and oily.

Prices are a bit high but I hear that's the norm in hot spots in Seattle.

    Bon appetit!

We came here for lunch today... I love this place! The service was excellent. Seriously, they refilled our water at least 5 times... that has to be a record. Another big plus for me, they're on open table... so it's really easy to get a reservation even if it's during non-working hours.

The food was also quite good. They have traditional french food. If you're adventurous, they have something for you. If you prefer more traditional brunch... they have this as well (French toast, eggs and sausage.)

My only complaint... it's a bit loud. Breaking up the restaurant just a little would help... but this isn't a huge deal, everything else makes up for it.

I've been here several times for brunch and it's always a must stop on our trip to Seattle.  There is nothing better than sitting outside for brunch with the morning/afternoon sun hitting your face while drinking delicious wine and fabulous food.  The staff is always friendly and they make sure to give you your space and time to enjoy the setting.

Everytime I've gone there I have gotten the French Rolled Omelette and I'm sad to say that they made a small modification to it.  The changed out the escarole for spinach and it just doesn't work as well with the goat cheese and egg.  Cafe Campagne (if you're reading this) please put the escarole back in because the spinach is too acidic and the texture doesn't work as well.

Cafe Campagne is a very tasty little cafe/bistro right in the heart of downtown Seattle, just a stone's throw from the market.

I came here recently while in town on vacation, and the food did not disappoint. I ordered a classic dish, coq au vin (chicken in wine sauce), and the chicken was done to fall-off-the-bone perfection. The dishes my friends ordered, including the soup of the day (a mushroom puree) and a cheese plate, were also quite tasty.

Dessert is a big highlight -- not many restaurants can serve such classic French desserts as clafoutis (think baked crepe batter, traditionally studded with non-pitted cherries) and the ever-exciting tarte tatin (think upside down apple tart).

Cafe Campagne served the apricot version of clafoutis, which I was tempted to order but I went with the tarte tatin. Excellently done, just the right amount of sweetness to balance the tartness of the apples, and of course a flaky (but not too soggy) crust. The latter is especially hard to do given that the dessert is essentially an upside-down tart, which means the apple juices tend to seep into the crust.

All in all, Cafe Campagne is a great spot to catch a bite while strolling around downtown.

I absolutely love this place. The service is okay, not bad, not outstanding, but the food speaks for itself. I've never been for brunch, but the dinner entrees are fantastic. The duck confit is probably the best I've had so far. It comes in it's own mini sized skillet and should be considered a "big" portion of duck confit.

Be sure to give the burger and fries a try.  Don't miss out on the apple tarte dessert. The creme brûlée is not bad as well. Before going you should make reservations on the weekends. I've seen many walk-ins be told to come back in an hour.

I am absolutely in love with this place!

I finally got the chance to try out their brunch and it definitely lived up to expectations.

I called about an hour ahead and was able to get reservations which was a good idea b/c by the time we got there, they were quoting a 45 min wait. we were seated quickly and we ordered the:

OEUFS EN MEURETT- poached eggs on top of a garlic crouton with a red wine foise gras sauce. Can with a side of frites (fries). WOW! Absolutely fantastic! No wonder everyone one loves this dish! The eggs were poached perfectly and whatever they put in that sauce was delicious!

Herbed omlette with spinach and cheese. I subbed the potatoes for a salad and it came with a chicken and pork sausage and baugette. The omelette was cooked to perfection! Light, fluffy, and the herbs were a perfect compliment to the cheese and spinach! The dressing was the salad was absolutely delicious and the sausage was soooo flavorful without being too heavy.

I was pleasantly surprised with the portion sizes, it was definitely enough food, we didn't even end up touching the frites or baugette and were stuffed!

The coffee they have here is great too! I got the normal brewed coffee and it was fantastic dark bold coffee.

Our bill was about $45 ($16 for the  oeufs en meurett and $12 for the omeltte) for the two dishes, coffee, and a mimosa. It's definitely worth it! The quality of their ingredients is superior, the ambiance is fantastic, and service was great!

Cafe campagne has definitely secured its spot as one of my absolute favorite restaurants!

    ** Happy Hour Review **

Came back for a Friday happy hour with a friend and left even more in love with this place than I was before.

We snagged a great corner table with a view of the market sign and the harbor beyond - great start.  The $10 carafe of house red wine came next, another win.  The food didn't disappoint: a steady procession of small plates made their way onto our table, which  might have made my pocketbook wince if they weren't so ridiculously reasonably priced.  The mouth-watering pint-size pate sandwiches (a fat "bite" of buttery-smooth pate on a mini roll) were just $1 a pop.  Good thing they were so filling - I could have eaten ten of these things, but then I might have had to return the skinny jeans I'd just bought up the street at Nordstrom Rack!

The rillette was another surprise success - just packed with flavor, and quite a large portion for $5.  The server whisked out a plate of extra croustade when we finished all the bread but still had a good half serving of rillette left.

The mini lamb burgers for $2 each were also good, though it is difficult to not overcook such a small portion and I think the full-size version is much better if you can spring for that instead.

To balance all this carnivorous deliciousness, we split a plate of the green beans, which were quite good but the $5 price tag seemed a little high compared to the price of the meat options.  The mountain of fries was also good.  Sidenote: Their HH menu definitely does cater to meat-eaters, so if you're looking for vegetarian-friendly I would go elsewhere.

Cafe Campagne is just solid all-around: I love the ambiance, which is cozy yet classy, and in a prime location no less.  The fact that they offer a Happy Hour (weekdays 4-6pm) is just icing on the cake.

Saturday afternoon and we had over four hours to kill between a wedding and a reception in the city...naturally we decided to foodie tour the market area. Cafe Campagne was our first stop during brunch hours.

The Cafe portion of the dining area is small but perfect for a party of 2-6 folks. Decor is simple, understated yet quaint. Their brunch menu is not overwhelming, but will satisfy any palette. We sampled the following:

    - I started off with a French 75, fantastic aperitif to any meal, which was perfectly balanced.
    - Cheese plate (not on the menu, but always available on request), a taste of 4 distinctly different cheeses, that complimented other items we ordered and came with a fresh french baguette.
    - Pate De Campagne: pork and chicken liver, mild in flavor and well seasoned, however the texture lacked usual creaminess of pate and was more chunky.
    - House cured Salmon Gravlax, accompanied by a salmon mouse and a fresh fennel salad mildly seasoned with vinegar. Perfect flavor and texture for the delicate and salty salmon slices.

This was a very nice start to our market food tour.

I made a last minute reservation via iphone and I'm so glad I did. There was a wait when I got there but luckily I made a reservation! My best breakfast in Seattle was at this restaurant. I had the poached eggs on top of a thick "crouton" with a red wine sauce on it. (Their version of eggs benedict). It was D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S!! Makes me happy just thinking of it. The eggs were done just right, runny enough that it made each bite of the crispy crouton melt in your mouth. Yummy.

My family had the plates with sausage and eggs and they loved it. The eggs were soft and fluffy and the sausage was the best I've ever had. Yay!

Maybe my first impression was really fueled by booze.... now I am older and "wiser"... the place was slightly different

Came here w colleagues for dinner...

    Nice ambience again -

Ordered Steak frites... bit tough even medium rare - could it be grass- fed  but still a bit chewy? seasoned perfectly...

Salmon was apparently very good ! even better than "Chile" !

I enjoyed the 2 reds that we ordered... service was competent...

Still one of my fav place... just not as perfect as before... blame me...
