A fortunate find while looking for lunch one day, but a place people who work for Delta have probably known about for awhile. Downtown Hapeville gets pretty busy at lunch time when the Delta HQ crowd comes over, but if you time it right you can catch a great meal at this little cafe without having to wait.

Cafe 623 offers typical cafe style sandwiches and salads with some surprises on the menu as well. Not many cafes have a turkey sandwich on the menu with snow peas, pears, and and walnut-mayo on the menu. The burgers here are huge, my favorite is the gorgonzola bacon burger. The meatloaf plate is another good option if you're looking for a big meal instead of a sandwich.

If you're ever in Hapeville (or better yet on your way to the airport with some extra time) give Cafe 623 a try, it's a well kept secret.
