Do not be confused. This resort is what it is. It is silly, kitschy, and they lay it on thick when it comes to the "romance." But if you want to have a super fun time and be silly while in a very pampering environment, this is the place.
First of all, we booked a jacuzzi suite and when we checked in we got a free upgrade- they let us choose any of the fancy suites they offer for free! We chose the Garden of Eden Apple because I had heard consistently good things. We were so excited as we walked to our room, despite the weird and borderline creepy appearance the outside of the buildings have. (It's because they are round and don't have any windows) We had a gorgeous clean room all done in shades of red and white with a red heart shaped tub, big fireplace, and in-room pool and sauna. Very silly, but romantic.
We enjoyed every aspect of the room. The round "Blush Bed" was amazingly comfortable, the pool (which I thought would be weird) was SO fun, and we loved burning logs in the fireplace to make the room cozy. We didn't use the sauna because I'm weirded out by tiny spaces and don't necessarily like to be hot, but it looked nice and clean in there too. We loved hooking up our ipod to the bose player provided in the room and pumping our music through the surround sound system that runs through the entire suite. (although be sure to bring a proper RCA cord in order to hook up the ipod- it is not provided)
After reading tons of reviews on this place we did follow some other people's suggestions like bringing our own logs for the fireplace and bringing our own drinks (there is a mini fridge in the room)- so be sure to read other reviews (http://tripadvisor.com has a million) for great tips like that. They have free wi-fi but only in the cafe, not in the rooms. DEFINITELY do the horseback riding next door (you can walk there) it was so fun and really affordable.
I do think that they have recently undergone renovations, so read older reviews with that in mind. Everything seemed updated and clean. Food was good. It wasn't the best 5 star restaurant food, but it was decent food and they give you whatever you want so you can always order something else if you don't like what you got. The service is WONDERFUL. Everyone is happy and friendly and aims to please.
All in all- we will definitely be going back. -

First of all this place is ridiculous haha, don't expect an elegant romantic getaway. Like others said if you lack a sense of humor don't even bother staying at this place. The customer service representatives are very helpful but after staying at the Paradise Stream its quite apparent they've never physically been on the premise. I was interested in the lake view suites , the pictures on the web site don't fully capture the lake (which is very small and is next to rt 940) The first thing you see from the highway are the lakeside villas.
The on-site staff:
-Friendly, courteous, but some defiantly lack motivation (gratuity is included in the room rate so I'd assume the wait staff, bar tenders etc don't receive tips) (8/10)
Garden of Eden apple Room:
-Surprisingly clean but tacky (as expected), the room was very spacious, everything worked, large comfortable bed, 2 TVs, surround sound (even in the pool) nice fire place, warm pool, small sauna, lots of fun! (9/10)
Food:
- The all inclusive dinner and breakfast was OK, I was hoping for more elaborate elegant food for a $450 per night . They offer a 5 course meal which consists of 3 standard soups, a salad, 2 appetizers, 5 entrees, and 3 deserts. All he food appeared to be mass produced and tasted something you'd get from a run of the mill chain restaurant like applebees, chili's etc. (6/10)
facilities:
-The activity room has a bunch of fun games, pool, squash, large 2 level stone Jacuzzi, swimming pool, video games, etc. The on-site basketball, tennis, and mini golf weren't bad.
Overall- We had a great time, lots of fun experiences that we wont forget. If you're looking for a place to have some fun and you have a sense of humor I'd recommend this place. Its kind of pricey but I go back once a year.
I wouldn't recommend any packages they offer you, they're very expensive and the products are poor quality. Bring your own alcohol, roses, Duraflame logs etc -

This place is WEIRD. Like, Deliverance weird. When I booked one funny night here, I thought I understood what I was getting into. Man, was I wrong. This was our first official mushy romantic getaway, so I wanted to do the most typically ridiculous, tacky, and kitschy thing EVER: a champagne glass hot tub in the Poconos, right? Totally! Since my BF luckily understands my sense of ironic humor, we did it.
THEN I went to book the room. $650 a night for the Cleopatra Suite? Holy crap! This place must be AWESOME! I did some digging, found a 50% off coupon code, and booked the suite for a night. Since it included "dinner, breakfast, entertainment, and countless activities," I figured it was worth it.
What I pictured from the website was a fun, well-maintained, amusement park for adults with a sense of humor set against rolling hills. What is Paradise Stream actually? A sad, run-down place with pathetic excuses for activities and rooms that look like deserted WWII bunkers from the outside. When we checked in at the main building, I got a glimpse of the bar and restaurant and immediately refused to go back into that building for anything. Everything was just so MAUVE. It was clean, but it definitely was not for people who have a sense of humor about this stuff. This place is for people who actually think mauve is cool! They HIRE photographers to take serious pictures of them lounging in the bubbles of their private hot tub! Ack.
We drove up to our Cleopatra Suite, and it looked as though there were about five other rooms occupied in the entire hotel. Also weird, like the start of a Skinemax horror flick. I was grateful, though, that no one else was around because I was so uncomfortable. We unloaded our stuff (I have never been so grateful to have brought a cooler full of booze) and entered our private quarters for the evening.
Thankfully, although the room itself was far from plush, new, or sophisticated (and NOT worth $650 for one night! Thank you, CouponCraze!), it was clean (although I did not have a black light) and did deliver on its promises.
*An seven-foot tall champagne glass hot tub? Check.
*A private, heart-shaped swimming pool? Check.
*A round bed against a mirrored wall with a mirrored ceiling with little twinkling stars in it? Check.
There were no windows, though (probably for the best) and the room itself had the same vibe as a casino in Vegas: the climate was controlled, I didn't know what time it was at any time of the day, and we both got really dehydrated. We left the room once that evening for dinner (off-property, of course), and did take a walk around the campus around 1am that evening to check out the 'amenities'. It didn't look like anything had been touched for thirty years - the pool, the 'lake', the game room, the paddle boats, the racquet ball court (!), all squished onto a tiny property surrounding the parking lot.
I'm glad we did it, it was wicked funny, one night was MORE than enough, and I am thankful for that 50% off coupon. Interestingly enough, a week later my boyfriend broke out with a nasty case of pink eye. Take that as you will.Listed in: Somewhere in the Middle of…

When I entered Caesar's Paradise Stream, the first thing I noticed was the giant wooden six foot heart with the words "Welcome to the Land of Love" on it. I saw that and just started laughing.
The grounds themselves are much smaller and not as nice as the pictures on the website. There are a wide range of activities. There are paddleboats, although the lake is tiny. There are bikes, but you are not supposed to take the bikes off of the tiny property. There are activities like Bingo and shuffleboard, but I feel too young to partake in either.
The rooms are nice, if a little dated and tacky. I was upgraded to Diana's Oasis, which had both a hot tub and a pool in it. There is no cell phone reception in the rooms.
My favorite activities were horseback riding next door to the resort and the pistol range about 10 miles away.
At meals, they seat you with other couples, like on a cruise ship. This was awkward at first, but ended up being quite nice in the end. All meals and activities are included in the price.
All in all, it was a little tacky, but a fun getaway 3-1/2 hours from DC.
Be sure to search online for discounts, as there are lots. -

My ex and I visited Paradise Stream for our anniversary and had a great time. The room we booked came complete with a personal indoor pool, heart-shaped whirlpool tub with a starry light-up ceiling overhead, and a round king-sized bed. Yes, some of the aspects of the resort were slightly cheesy and possibly outdated (the heart shaped tub being the main one I can think of) but the place itself was oh-so-charming. There were several activities to partake in but just staying in the room itself only to emerge for meals works too.
Oh, did I mention breakfast and dinner are included? So very nice not to worry about finding a good restaurant to go to. The food itself was very good. My only complaint would be that the dining room did seem understaffed and had one woman serving about 30ish couples at once. She did make some mistakes but being so busy I can overlook it.
If you want a vacation at a swanky hotel, this is not your scene. If you want a cheesy romantic getaway with your sweetie then book a room here. Just make sure to search Google for coupon codes to save yourself some $$. -

Caesar's Paradise Stream is a couples themed resort. It is everything that the Poconos is know for but it is fun. If I were to come to Poconos to go skiing I am not sure I would stay here but for a weekend away from the city this is great,
I have only been to this resort once and it was not originally planned. I was originally booked at another resort which was so bad we checked out the next day. One of the shop owners in town suggested I go to Caesar's. What a good suggestion.
When you come bring your sense of humor and just let go. Splurge and go for the Champagne Suite. This is the one with the Champagne glass suite and the private pool.
I came after Thanksgiving but before the ski season started so there was not much in town. However, the resort has a night club with nightly entertainment. There are three other Caesar's resorts in the area and you can use all of them.
Bring someone you know well and it should be a good weekend. At least it will be different. -

We had a good stay very good servie. We arrived early about 10:45a.m. we were able to eat a buffet style breakfast which was very good. The staff was very friend and helpful! After breakfast our room was ready! considering check in time is 3pm we were happy. Our room was nice and clean we stayed in the Lakeside Villa! overlooking the lake very small lake but nice and relaxing. Ou bed was very comfortable we loved our bed! Dinner was great I did expect the steak to be a little more tender since it was being RAVED so much! However, the choices and the amount of food you get is very satisfying. I had 3 Xlarge jumbo shrimp, crab bisque soup for starters and I had a steak medium well with creamy spinach and salad and my dessery was strawberry shortcake and my honey and I shared a slice of cheeecake! you can eat as much as you want..lol Our show for the night was pretty good the comedian was funny and Denny More the hypnotist performed a great show and lastly a really nice perk was checkout at 1pm!!!! just call front desk and ask!
Overall I enjoyed this place there is young and old and the diversity is good. No they don't have plasma tv's and the dinning area is not the most up to date but it's nice! It's clean it's comforting it's worth enjoying with the one you loved. We would like to go back one more time! perhaps the winter.
