When my grandparents learned that I would be staying in AC for a conference, they promptly booked a room at Showboat for the second night of my stay and offered to take me out for the evening. We ended up at the Diamond Club at Caesars, where they are members. When we arrived around 5 p.m., the room was bumpin' with AARP card-carrying party animals. All of the tables by the windows that overlook the ocean were occupied, so we settled into a little section by the bar with comfy armchairs and a coffee table. It was like our own private living room, complete with people-watching.

Our cocktail waitress, whose name I unfortunately do not remember, took excellent care of us during our 2+ hour stay, which included many top shelf drinks, all free to members of the club and their guest(s). The bartenders knew their stuff, and every drink I had was fantastic. The espresso martinis were to-die, and I definitely needed that caffeine kick to keep up with the g-parents, who were not only out-drinking me but who were also ready to get their gamble on after our little happy hour.

this review is based solely on the casino. I have never stayed at Caesars before but I do enjoy their casino, its always busy and lively which is what you expect to find. Caesars seems to be the epicenter of everything located on the Boardwalk. They have the Pier shops connected to the hotel which have a great collection of restaurants and a mall with any store you will ever want.

The only thing I hate about this casino are the bathrooms. They are a bit run down. They remind of me bathrooms you would find at a public transportation hub like Port Authority. And they are kind of dirty. I'm really surprise that they are trying to compete with the Borgata but they keep this so neglected.

We stayed here during our 3 day trip to Atlantic City and it was very nice. The hotel was clean and comfortable, and my only complaint would be not offering free internet access. I guess they'd rather you spend your time gambling in the Casino.

The Casino area was nice too. They had smoking and non-smoking sections and compared to the other casinos visited (Harrah's, Taj Mahal, and Trump's) this was one of the better one's. It's also located next to The Pier Shops which offers great shopping and Dining.

A great place to stay for my First Visit to A.C.! Table Limits in the casino were not bad, average was about $15, but there were some $10 tables as well. I recently quit smoking, and was relieved to find lots of non-smoking tables and slot sections. Not that I am one of those holier-than-thou reformed smokers, I just didn't need the temptation so soon.

The one gripe I have - I am a Harrah's Total Rewards Platinum tier member, and this doesn't go as far as it does in Vegas. Seems like you have to be Diamond or better to get priority on cage service, express check-in, and restaurant seating. Something we get all the time in Vegas.

The room was nice and clean, with the classy look and feel you would expect from the Caesars name. Beds were extremely comfy, and the giant flatscreen HDTV was cool. A good first impression in A.C.! I will return...

I recently went to Caesar's for the Atlantic City Food & Wine festival.  I called ahead and was told that tickets were available, but had to be purchased on site.

So, I drove to the casino and parked in the self-park garage since it was only $5.

When I got to the event area, I went to the ticket counter.  I told the lady that I needed one ticket.  She asked me under which service did I buy the ticket.  Huh?

I explained to her that I hadn't bought a ticket yet, but that Caesar's told me tickets were available and had to be purchased in person.  She stated at me blankly and said "Uhh.....no.  We're sold out...and you had to buy them through Ticketmaster."

What the EFF?  First of all...why the hell did Caesar's tell me they had tickets available only an hour before?  Second....Why the eff do they have to go through Ticketbastard?

Screw you Caesar's....the only money of mine you'll be getting was the $5 I had to pay to park.  No wonder Atlantic City's casino industry is heading down the toilet.

Caesar's casino itself is alright, I spent some time up at the pool bar ... and I found that experience underwhelming.

1) it's impossible to find
2) the pool itself is tiny
3) the drinks are weak as a baby kitten

I wasn't impressed at all.

Also, my mom got her purse looted in the bathroom from an unsavory patron in the next stall. Watch your stuff.

I really cannot begin this without divulging I was in a comp room. The penthouse suite is lovely with a whirlpool tub and the set out a nice tray of fruit/cheese and a bottle of johnnie walker blue.

However, I have stayed in less decadent suite which also was well appointed. the bed was super-comfy and the bathroom was huge.

The room service is speedy, but the table they bring to the room sort of stinks. I had grilled chese with tomato, fries and creme brule. Everything I ordered was delicious.

Sunday nights in AC are the way to go!

you lose money when you come here. i think the casino has some sort of advantage or something.

but they give you free drinks so maybe you have the advantage.

i don't know....i'm confused

actually the rooms are quite nice and the rooftop pool area is a fun little place to hang.

I've stayed at Caesar's in Atlantic City twice, and I've had a good experience fhere both times. The hotel is opulently decorated and aesthetically-pleasing. I especially liked the massive statute of Augustus near the hotel's lobby.  The rooms themselves are decorated nicely, clean and spacious.

Check-in was relatively quick and without any headaches.  If one has the financial means, I do recommend getting a room in the Centurion Tower. Rooms in the Centurion Tower have a king-sized bed, more living space, a flat-screen, mounted television, a really nice shower with a sitting bench and the ability to watch television off the bathroom mirror.

As for the casino, there are 135 table games and the casino space is kept clean. The cocktail waitresses are generally pleasant and quickly bring people their drinks.

There are eleven different restaurants at Caesar's that, not surprisingly, vary in overall service and food quality. There are also a number of restaurants located in the Pier Shops, which are extremely close to this Caesar's location.  I definitely recommend going to Phillip's Seafood and/or The Continental.

Overall, I've had a good experience both times I stayed at Caesar's, and I do recommend people going here for their gambling and lodging needs when visiting A.C.

This hotel is the best place to stay in AC...when you want to be on the boardwalk.

It comes in second though to nearby Borgata as the best casino in the city.

It has plenty to do besides gambling like:

The Pier Shops, which has places to throw more money away like Banana Republic, Armani, Guess, Gucci, and the Apple store.

Dining, which includes KWI Restaurant & Noodle Bar,Primavera,Morton's The Steakhouse and Phillips Seafood.

and check out a show at their Circus Maximus Theater, which holds a few thousand people, and gets some pretty big performers in music and comedy.

I love Caesars!

Join the total rewards club and get great offers in the mail!

Arrive by bus and get great rebates.

Basically your typical Casino, but in my opinion nicer than any of the Trump Casinos and 500000 x better than Tropicana.

This Casino is also a great place to dine. Cafe Roma located on the 3rd Floor offers breakfast, lunch, dinner and I believe it is open 24 hours a day. The A-1 Burger is great! and breakfast there is the best. It can be costly but I eat almost free every time because I take advantage of the coupons they send me as well as use all of my rewards comps I have earned since I first turned 21.(perhaps this is where all that money went when I wonder "why don't I have any money?)

as for La Piazza buffet, it was pretty good on a weekday but way too crowded on the weekend.

There is a bridge on the second floor which goes across the boardwalk and connects to the Pier mall.

Caesars is also a short walk to the Outlet stores.

I have yet to take advantage of the free room offers I get in the mail, when I do I will update on what it is like to stay here.

I actually really like Ceasars. It's connected to two other hotels, the restaurants rock, it's on the boardwalk, great beach access, there's decent shopping FINALLY in AC which has not happened in the past century...there's really no reason to leave!

I think Caesars has been under construction for the last 15 years or so.  The mall is no longer a place just for gang recruitment! Caesars has no shortage of places to throw your money away, whether you like to shop, play or you're into one of the seemingly infinite crowd of hookers at the Toga bar.

Note to guidos: Visiting Caesars or Borgata does not make you seem more Italian. Please stop getting your picture taken in front of the Caesar statue in the lobby while making the blue steel face and doing that dumb backwards V thing with your fingers.

One of Atlantic City's best (especially comparing to Tropicana). Although I'm not old enough to gamble (yet). My mom, dad, aunt, uncle are ALL 7 STAR members. hehe. So you already know - 7 Stars. We ALWAYS get presidential suites! I love it, our host treat us like royalty. Whenever we dine and theres a long line, we get to skip it and other pplz was will get mad. All comes from my mom gambling away all our fortune to become a 7 Star member...sadly. Thank You mom, did you have to loose THAT much?

I spent a Tuesday and Wednesday at Caesars for a regional conference for work.  This is what I found:

Pros:
Hotel room are nice.
Lots of opportunities to gamble.
I won a bunch of money.
Right by the boardwalk.

Cons:
Gaming area is dirty and smelly.
Catering is really bad.
Lots of smoking everywhere.
Old people everywhere.

Could be a pro or con:
Lots of hookers.

Caesar's is a pretty good casino, definitely ranking higher for Atlantic City.  I'd actually go so far as to say it comes into a close second to the Borgata.  I head out for the poker, and although Caesar's has a small poker area, the dealers are very pleasant and efficient, and the players are generally pretty good folks (and not just a bunch of old fogies).  The TVs are also just above eye level so it has a more intimate feel, even though its on the side of the main casino floor.
As for the Pier Shops, they are great, a vast improvement for AC.  Top restaurants like Buddakhan, Sonsie and The Continental, as well as a vast array of high-end (Burberry, Gucci...) and mid-range shops (Guess, Banana Republic...).

If you like being near the beach, and not too far from the Outlets, definitely consider Caesar's for you next Atlantic City excursion.

Sick of all the reviews saying "Well, it isn't Vegas." Duh! Accept it for what it is! Atlantic City will never be Vegas, but for those of us in the tri-state area, it can be a sweet little getaway.

Best location/casino on the boardwalk. You're in the middle of all the action. Just steps from prime beach real estate for the beach lovers. In the middle of the Walk shopping outlets and the Pier shops that are connected to the hotel. What's not to like?

Caesar's just got a renovation as well. The rooms got a much needed face lift. Flat screen TVs, comfier beds, AND there's even a small TV in the bathroom mirror. Nice touch ...

I personally believe they have the loosest slots in Atlantic City. I've never won anywhere except here and at Bally's ... which is conveniently connected yo Caesar's.

We always eat at the Diamond Club here, which has also recently improved.  But room service is always prompt, friendly and delicious.

The only bad thing that I can say is that the check in staff can be very rude, but whatever. Not a reason to skip this place.

Me and my boyfriend love Caesars! We stayed in a comp room and to our surprise it was a new, clean and modern *loved the flat screen t.v*. It's the best place to stay if you want to be close to the boardwalk and right in the center of things.

So its not Caesars Palace of Vegas, but its about the closest one will get to it.  Its in Atlantic City after all, so virtually everything will be second rate to Vegas. The acts that perform here are typically  with exception to the occasional comedians and singers but it seems the Borgata has taken most of the best acts.  The Pier Shops are not the Forum Shops but the shopping seems to be decent.  The casino and poker rooms are nice and probably the nicest among the Harrahs properties.

Lets not forget about the essentials of any casino, the food.  Caesars has a good selection of restaurants, but not quite as versatile as neighboring Bally's.  The majority of their restaurants are along the gourmet line of various cuisines.  The buffet is good and so are the steakhouses but forgettable if you've had your fair share of casino food.

The biggest separator between the two biggest Caesars properties are definitely the rooms.  I've seen even their nicest suites and found them to be sub par at best.  The Ocean Tower is one of their newest parts of the hotel as it features a cool view of the boardwalk and beach.  For the player lounges, the Forum Lounge is decent and better than the ones at Showboat, Bally's, or Harrah's.   Its easily the best property after the Borgata and a strong contender for the best along the Boardwalk.

this place comes in to a close second to the tropicana. the rooms are a bit nicer but not much in it for attractions. few restaurants but nothing that would want me to go. there is a walkway that brings you to a mall that is connected to it.  few good stores but nothing you can't find a local mall near you. the stay here is also pricey.

Well people THIS place has come full circle.
I did the marketing research for Caesars before their reform, and I must say, they are STILL in the process of making this location top Vegas, and I'm not kidding when I say, they just might..no, really. yeah i know it's jersey, but I think it can be done, the plans for what's in store for this establishment are magnificent at least, so if you thought your days in AC of dodging Geritol addicts and walkers would never end, they have here.  It's a whole different world now.
hey if Coach and Louie V have claimed residency there, that must tell you alittle hint.

Like the line in an obscure Peter Gabriel-era Genesis song goes: Gambling only pays when you're winning - and I've never come away lower than breaking even at Caesars.

As a medium-risk player, I'm a fan of their blackjack and roulette tables.  Plus, since I'm not so intent on playing and winning like serious gamblers, I can appreciate the laid-back attitude of the crowd at the tables and on the floor.

You can't argue with the location, either, a block and a half down from Boardwalk Hall.  When I used to go to AC Boardwalk Bullies games, parking was free for ECHL staff.  After working for three hours watching players just one broken condom away from ruining their "careers," it was a great incentive to keep the night going by taking just a three-minute walk outside to the casino for beer, wings, and a roll of the dice.

"All's well that ends good!" the emperor proclaimed to my dad after asking him how our time at the buffet in Caesar's was.

I liked his reply so much, I still use it to this day (this was back in 1999) whenever someone asks me how something's going.

Priceless!

Okay, so I obviously have fond memories of this place after just that one encounter. But you know what? It'll bring me back next time I have a chance to go to AC!

After reading some of the review on here of Caesars, I have to say I was pleasantly suprised. I was in town for the A-10 college basketball tournament in March which was being played at Boardwalk Hall so Caesar's couldn't have been in a much better location.

The lobby here is very nice and the casino is pretty good as well. It's not the nicest place in AC, but it definitely is still a very nice hotel/casino. Also, there is tons of dining options around this hotel (both in the hotel/pier and outside as well).

The rooms here were very nice and the beds were some of the most comfortable I have ever slept in. The rooms were spacious and well appointed. They had a nice size flat screen TV as well. Some of the rooms were being renovated while we were here so it was a bit noisy, but they warned us ahead of time and gave us a free breakfast one day.

The one meal we ate in the hotel itself was the breakfast buffet that we got free and it was huge and quite delicious.

While this hotel isn't quite as nice as the Borgata, the price is better and the location is better as its right on the Boardwalk. I would definitely stay here again if I visit AC again.

Must say, my first time to the AC and I was quite impressed... while on the drive there, saw a billboard of Jay Leno performing that night... so we headed to this casino, bought tickets, and headed to the show...

The parking however SUCKS arse.. when the hell do casinos charge 10 bucks to PARK?  This is why VEGAS rules... and AC is crap in comparison...

Caesars Atlantic City has always been a good place for me.  Im a low end gambler who gets a free room or two to use a month.  I am not a big player by any means, just your casual slot and table game player.

What I enjoy about Caesars is that Im generally treated quite well.  The staff has always been nice as well as accommodating to my needs. When I check in, the room is always ready.  Most other casinos will tell you (as a low end user) to come back in an hour or two because the rooms are still being cleaned. Room service has always been delicious and pretty fast.

I also enjoy that the hotel is within walking distance of  the beach, the boardwalk, The Walk (outlet shopping) and the Pier (a collection of resturants and shops).

They have a free shuttle (Total Express)  that will take you to their other properties (Showboat, Bally's and Harrahs) but its not worth taking.  I waited 30 mins only for the next bus to be full.  At the time, anyone with a card could use the service so Im sure there where a lot of people that were not using it for casino purposes.  Now,  Platinum, Diamond and Seven Stars holders can travel anytime, but the gold card users can only use the service if they show their hotel key.

Im usually happy with the machines I can play on and can typically find the types of machines I like available.   The cocktail waitresses are pretty quick, and the slot attendants are pretty easy to get a hold of.
