Choo-choo!
The only way this place could be classified as 'good' or 'cool' would be if the caboose actually moved.
It doesn't. It sits there while two grumpy ladies run the whole operation without so much as a smile or a "darlin'."
The food is grease with a side of grease, with a cup o' somethin' on the side.
I went here on a first date once, kind of by accident. Our date had begun at a Denny's in Columbus (long story, that), progressed to some random hillside for a bit of gorgeous sunset-watching, then wound up here for dinner.
So, basically, the Wranglers-wearing guy (a sweet one who made for a nice summer romance, but very Rural Texan) led me on an afternoon hick tour of south-central Texas.
The Caboose dinner was the low point. And I loathe Denny's with absurd passion (see http://www.yelp.com/bi...).
