Cabo Cantina

Food (3/5): Got the fajitas, surf and turf tacos, fish tacos, and chicken nachos. The fajitas were quite good but the fish tacos were really bad. Usually it's fine but the fish taco here seemed not fresh.

Service (3/5): The server was doing their best but unfortunately it seemed understaffed. We had a bit trouble with how dirty and sticky the tables were when we first sat. The food came out reasonably fast though.

Ambiance (3/5): Looks like a nice ambiance on the outside but when you walk in and sit, you realize it's a bit dingy. The tables we sat at were really sticky and not clean and the overall place didn't seem well maintained.

The food here is good and affordable that the drinks are huge plus they have the best happy hour in town & the service here is great.. so if your in the mood for nice food and drinks and your on a budget this is the perfect place..

What can I say about Cabo, I been coming here since I been 21 LOL. So after years of coming here and getting drinks... everyone knows this place as a bar to get wasted. HOWEVER, I came here one morning during their brunch hours and WOW my point of view has changed. They set the bar high for brunch places everywhere. From the customer service to the food. I was pleasantly surprise to
see they had a breakfast menu that was INSANELY good!! They had breakfast burrito to chilaquiles!! I opted for the chilaquiles of course. The taste and presentation of the food was amazing I HAD to give my compliments to the chef. Besides the morning menu they do have lunch and dinner menu which I've had so many times, the bartender makes a great margarita and delicious mexican candy shots! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this cabo location, it is my new favorite.

For the middle of the day this spot is solid the cartoonish margarita glasses look great. I recommend this place when it's chill and not totally busy.

cabo cantina is a great spot if you're looking for fun vibes and huge portions. their food is pretty cheap, and you get a TON of it, which is a bonus. the chips and salsa were good (both salsas were quite flavorful, but the salsa verde was a standout), and the steak tacos were decent. it's located super close to the beach and we got lucky with the corner booth upstairs, which had gorgeous views. our server was super friendly but it was hard to track him down throughout our meal, especially as it got much louder/more crowded.

The location is perfect, close to the beach and close to the Venice pier. The appetizers were good and the drinks were strong. Our waiter gave menu recommendations and was very attentive. We had a good time!

Order steak tacos and friend ordered chicken nachos. The tacos came with all the toppings. Food came out fast and server was nice.
I went on a Tuesday night so it was a good crowd in attendance. Portion sizes are large. Inside the bar was spacious and had enough seating.

Wow... came on Thursday night and we received exceptional service from JK and Diego. I love to visit establishments with great service. We will definitely be back for the great service and food .

Let me start off with saying I haven't been to Cantina for almost 7 years. It was a beautiful day and I was in the mood for carne asada fries. My friend who just moved nearby, said the best ones are here. I remember the food being good, but I definitely should start coming back here more often because it was great!

Right when we came in, we were greeted by Isabel, she has a great smile and answered all of our questions. She was able to explain things easily, and escorted us to the outside dining area, since it was a beautiful day.

It can get a little loud near the bar, but we were able to communicate our order fairly well before we sat outside

I got the steak fries and I took some home because I it was a huge amount. To me, you can share this between 2-3 people unless you are really really hungry. The only thing that I wish was better was that I had melted cheese, it comes with queso cheese, which is good, but only if it's in addition to melted cheese. Next time I'll ask to substitute, more of a preference thing. Other than that the steak was super tender, the guacamole fresh, the Fresca was a great addition and the pico gave it a great bite.

My friend got the nachos and let me tell you I will be back for these! It comes with a melted cheese and your regular loaded toppings. I loved how every bite I had included a little bit of every topping. Literally, and I love that these come with jalapeños. I don't remember jalapeños on my steak fries, but jalapeños are always a great addition. My friend got a JAM-o-Rita, which is a Jamison/margarita. They are not stingy on the alcohol here and they offer you a salt rim.

The drink is worth the price trust me.

The General Manager Josh is super into making the customer happy. He also greeted us when we came in with some waters. He has a personable attitude and asked us to tell us how we liked it there. I like that as he is clearly open to feedback in improving whatever he can to the already known establishment. That's huge!

Parking is a doozy as it's Venice but across the street I found a park and it was only a couple of bucks.

Gawd I hate to do this, but it's even worse now. The drinks are weak. I don't think they know that quac has lime juice in it or a marg isn't just tequila and sugar water. Not clean, not friendly. Avoid.
