I had been hearing about this place for awhile, but finally decided to stop in. Pulling up was a bit confusing as the tavern also doubles as a convenience/liquor store. There was parking up front but also there was noticeably more on the side and then there was even more in the back. Definitely a plus. However, to enter the tavern, there was no sign; but I saw another patron enter through a back door. Sketchy, but I played along. Entering the building, it was old, but clean enough. Several people sat around the bar and there were other cocktail tables aligned on the back and side walls. We sat ourselves and waited several minutes and when the bartender didn't look as if she were going to come from behind the bar, I made my way to an opening at the bar. She (Tee ?) explained there were no waitresses so to order you have to come up to the bar. Anyway, she didn't readily provide a menu; I had to ask and explained it was my first visit. She seemed to become a little more accommodating at this point - with prompting. Found out they had a happy hour - all drinks were $1 off but she didn't mention food specials. Ordered what you see below and also an American cold cut sub - not pictured. All of what you see was fresh, tasty and not overly priced. The drinks were okay. My husband had a shot of cognac and I had my standard Appletini which totaled $21 alone. With the tip, we spent right at $80. The patrons were kind enough. My husband who plays the lottery appreciated the store had this convenience. Will we return? I'm on the fence.

Older crowd. I like that. Everyone is usually friendly and in good spirits. Highly recommend if you're looking for a place to watch a game and have some drinks. Prices are reasonable

I've been wanting to visit this place for a few years now. Recently a couple of Yelp elites were boasting about the burgers here and then I also saw great reviews on Yelp so I decided to finally visit.
Pulling up on the parking lot, we had to park and walk into back door.
This place was hella crowded considering it's Covid and Baltimore County was supposed to be open limited to 25% indoors. Definitely 80% on this evening.
I changed my seat twice to avoid the crowd of people. When you sit outside of the bar area, you are responsible for going up to order food and going back to get it which isn't a problem.
My issue was the crowd AND lack of masking there especially by staff.
We ordered a cheeseburger with fries, old bay wings as well as two alcoholic beverages.
The burger was above average. The wings were delish and the drinks were heaven sent. We had a Rum Punch and Tito's Punch.
I've been reading about the catfish online. Great reviews and recommendations.
Assuming Covid numbers will decrease significantly, I'd return Spring/ Summer 2021 in hopes of a positive total package experience.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Marcus O.Columbia, MD05Jan 24, 2023

This is a nice neighborhood bar in Randallstown. Music and food is definitely on point. Friendly staff. I had the salmon tacos which are scrumptious delicious. Definitely recommend them. Friday and Saturday after 9pm T huh ere is a $5 cover so come before then and enjoy yourself for free.

I literally live right behind this place and since I'm not big on going out I've only been here three times the drinks are strong and the bar food is really good

Tom's is always a good time. Parking is provided and there's ample seating inside. The tavern itself is attached to a liquor which is convenient when you think about lol. Their drinks are cheap and happy hour is EVERYDAY 11-7! I have an assortment of foods from their menu and I've been pleased each time. The evening bartenders are always nice and helpful. I also like the vibe when they play music throughout the evening. I will continue to come to Tom's!

This place is an awesome, local bar. Always a mixed crowd and everyone is friendly.
Stopped in around 6 on a Wednesday and was pleasantly surprised that happy hour lasts until 7! Score! Craft beers on tap are $4.50 during happy hour and $5.50 when it's not - that's a deal! $2.00 domestic beers, liquor FILLED mixed drinks made with premium liquor at rail liquor prices. Food is amazing too. If you're torn between any of the apps, get the sampler - delicious and a little bit of everything! Cheesesteaks are awesome too and the customizations are pretty much unlimited.
Liquor store connected to the front of the bar is great too - open 7 days a week and open until 1am. Kinda crazy that mthey charge double the price if you buy it and want to take it next door but that's business.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Natavia M.Kissimmee, FL0334Jul 29, 2022
Since when it's $5 to get in? And only at 9:15pm? Only stopped for a quick stop and got a tropical Long Island (tasted like cough syrup) so disappointing.
