This spot is almost around the corner from me; it's in my neighborhood and the funny thing is I've been living on here for a while and I remember when it opened but still did not check it out just because I didn't know what to expect.  I got introduced to it and I'm a fan!  As "Kay F" stated (& she must be good peeps cuz she has my middle name) Roz is the bartender to have!!!  She will take care of you!

They do comedy on Wednesdays, blues on thursdays, dj on fridays and basically club night on saturdays and the cover is $5.

The people are reall cool, the food is off the chain and the drinks are real nice.

Check it out if you haven't!

I visited there on a Sunday.  This is a cool spot for reasonably priced drinks and a nice environment.  Restrooms were clean.  The bartender Roz was most knowledgeable.  I really and truly enjoyed myself.  I went there alone and could not believe how much fun it was.  There was a 5$ dinner special, Sundays only 4pm.  There is a regular bar menu available also.  I missed that but ordered a 6pc wing deal.  I was impressed.  I ordered mine battered, highly recommended! I spinkled mine with lemon pepper too.  The real treat was the LIVE BAND.  YOU HEAR ME.  A real blues/jazz band.  There were playing the hits and folks were dancing too.  There was a couple of guest singers.  A lady did Proud Mary and a guy did "Stormy Monday".  I could have listened to them all night.  I had the wings a french connection(remy and grand marnier) and a beer all for 18 bucks.  I tipped Roz 6 bucks.  Like I said, this is a neighborhood bar worth supporting.  Also the crown was older and mature, but party lovers never the less!
