Even after relocating B'z keeps delivering on great q.  The spicy and the sweet sauces are both great and the pork and beef are quite tasty.

Going to B'z is a great out of the way road trip.

I had their pulled pork sandwich on my way home from Glengary, WV today.  I've driven by this place for years and it wasn't until yesterday that a good friend recommended trying them so I did.  I got mine with Spicy BBQ sauce and man was it tasty!  The cole slaw was excellent too!  Will have the ribs next time.  Simple, but scrumptious!  Try it!

I haven't had this BBQ since they moved out of Leesburg.  Today my family and I were driving around and we in the mood for a little snack before we got home Leesburg.  My wife said, there is a little BBQ shack around the corner, you want to go there.  When we pulled up, I said Hey...they use to cook in the Mighty Midget Kitchen.  The BBQ pit is on the side of the Palonian Gorcery & Gourmet.

When they were in Leesburg, I had pretty much everything on the menu, except the hot dog.  The menu said this is the best dang dog you'll have.  So I said what the Hell.  I ordered the Hawg Dog.  Which is the custom made hot dog with pulled pork and BBQ sauce on it.  Total price was $4.99 with a side of homemade coleslaw.

We went inside to the general store to get our drinks and pay.  A few minutes later the food was brought to us.  My wife go the same thing.  The coleslaw looked and tasted fresh.  Not like the crap you buy pre-made in grocery stores or get in chain restaurants.  The pulled pork tasted great as did the sauce.  Now the hot dog was awesome.  I've never really had a tender hot dog before. I don't know what other words to use to explain it.  The flavor and spices were great, it was juicy, and was gone in like 4 bites.  I probably could have eaten 3 or 4 of them.  Remember we just need a snack to tie us over =)

If you want a good hotdog and pulled pork make the drive out.  Its worth it.  Also, be sure to order your food on the side first.  You'll get a ticket, then the cashier will ring you up.

We have been a fan of B'z BBQ for years!  The original location was in the MMK in Leesburg and when they left, the Town of Leesburg felt the sting of losing out on REAL BBQ and some of the best fries around.  Life goes on....and so does B'z!

Brian moved to a wonderful location on Rt. 9 just off the Rt. 7 bypass leaving Leesburg to the West.  An adorable log cabin-ish store where you can order your food, wander through a pretty expansive selection of wine and beer, grab some pretty fancy flavored chips, interesting candy (flavored chocolates and get this - sea salt or chipolte carmels!).  There is also ice cream - Ben and Jerry's but the real treat is to see hard pack Gifford's Ice Cream.  Anyone who has lived in the old Bailey's X Rds area of NOVA knows what I'm talking about!! (If you are old enough that is)

The real pull is the BBQ - no pun intended.  Today we had the brisket sandwich - very tender beef that had the touch of cherry wood smoke.  The sauce is signature B'z with lovely little chunks of onion shining through each bite.  In addition, we had 1/2 rack of ribs (my order, that seemed to mysteriously disappear every time I took a sip of my Root Beer  :)  The ribs were fall of the bone, slap yo mama good.  Yes, the sauce was all over my fingers and face because you just can't enjoy ribs without smacking something, right?

It was a wonderful end to our 71 degree day in the 'burbs.  There are wineries down the road (Breaux is my fav) so next time you have a Saturday free, make the trip, stop for a great nosh and see what real BBQ is all about.  (somehow another rack ended up in our car for snacking later....ummm ummm gooood!)

5 Stars all the way. I just had their Ribs and a Hawg Dog (hot dog with pulled pork on it!) and a half rack of ribs. These Ribs are among the best I have had in the country. The pulled pork was, as with the ribs, moist and well smoked. In my opinion, these ribs have the power to please a Texan's appetite for awesome BBQ. Pics of the food are up... check em out.

On this beautiful 4th of July weekend,  my girlfriend and I ordered two pulled pork sandwiches and two sides. The sandwiches were soaked through with grease and half the sandwich was pure fat. The slaw and potato salad were average at best. The customer service was by far the worst part of the experience. After a long day on the river, we wanted a nice and relaxing setting to eat a great BBQ dinner. Unfortunately what we experienced was a rude BBQ chef that obviously did not know how to trim the fat and serve customers. My biggest regret was that we didn't complain while we were there.

Hey, just FYI Hamburg Doener has taken over the Mighty Midget Kitchen, however BZ's BBQ lives on. The owner (and his massive smoker) have set up shop next to the gas station at Rt 7 and Rt 9.

Great BBQ in the heart of Leesburg.  We had a pulled pork sandwich, a burger and fries and they were all excellent.  I can't wait to go back.  They only make ribs on fridays and saturdays.  They have limited seating which are all outdoors, so supposedly they sometimes close when the weather is bad.

In my heaven, there will be one massive Walgreens, my bed, Takaki, and the Mighty Midget Kitchen.  This place simply put, KICKED ASS!  My burger was heavenly as were the fries and my old fashioned root beer.  It will always have to be sunny in my heaven cause this place is closed during foul weather...perhaps I'd just go hang out in the Walgreens then and pig out in the junk food isle.

I love the midget.  It's a great atmosphere and is the perfect spot for hanging out and eating/talking BBQ.  My main complaint though is that it is a bit overpriced, especially for the relatively small portions.  The fries are delicious but for $1.95 you really should get more than they give you.  A pulled pork sandwich, fries and soda cost over $10 but barely filled me up.  Ribs are excellent but be prepared to pay a premium for them.  For overall quality of food though, you'll be hard pressed to find anything quite like it.
