Had the Hankering For More Ribs. Hey - It's summer and looking for a tasty BBQ fix......
a.) Just as good - if not better- service than before. Attentive and Friendly without being overbearing.
b.) Oh-My-Ribs. "AS Good IF NOT Better Than previous visits"
c.) Had a combo which included a "quarter Chicken" - very TENder and way tasty.
I think that from now on this will be un-officially known as "Buffalo's Best Ribs".

Oh My Ribs! Perfectly smoky and finished on a grill !
I like me some BBQ - have had it from just… Read more »
I am reviewing this place on just one visit and will probably revise if I go again. We did takeout and the girl at the bar acted like we were bothering her by asking for a menu and ordering. The food did come quickly though. I didn't try the pork since I don't eat it but the sauce was very delicious and smokey. The sweet potato fries are perfect and crispy. A honey butter-cinnamon sauce comes on the side and tastes like french toast; very good! The cole slaw, oh god! It was awful. It was tiny shreds of cabbage, no carrots and was swimming in liquid. I am used to cole slaw that can hold it's own shape, this was just a puddle. One bite and that was enough. I don't know what was in it but it had a strong taste that was not pleasing.
I would definitely try this place again, there are a few more items on the menu I would like to try. I wish they had pulled chicken though, maybe it's not big here in WNY but in Georgia it was everywhere and so tasty.
The food at BW's isn't the problem, it's the service. Every time I've gone there I've left unhappy with the way I was treated as a customer.
Extra napkins? No, too much of a hassle for your server, you'll have to go steal them from the server station on your way back from the filthy bathroom that has no paper towels in it.
Extra sauce? That'll be fifty cents added to your bill (not kidding... other restaurants give you their signature sauces in squeeze bottles, have as much as you like, but BW's actually CHARGES for a tiny container of sauce, which is INSANE).
The food is generally good, when it eventually arrives forty-five minutes after you ordered it, which was fifteen or twenty minutes after you were shown to your table.
You'll notice when you arrive, most likely, a lot of teenagers in uniforms outside the building smoking. That's what they're doing instead of waiting on you.
I guess that's just the BW's way of doing business, but I'll have none of it.
They do a brisk takeout business, but we warned, they will make a mistake on your order, most likely charging you for something that isn't in the bag when you get it home. I've picked up take-out orders from them many times in the past, and every single time, without exception, they've made a mistake, leaving something out, like that extra order of cole slaw we paid for, or the extra side we're supposed to get with the meal package. That kind of lack of attention to detail makes me feel second-rate as a customer.
Again, the food there is good, and if you see a road-side event by a school or church or carnival that has their logo on it, pull over and grab some ribs or chicken and take it home. But I know that I'll never set foot in their dining room again.
