Yeah yeah yeah. Normally I would give this place 3 stars but because everyone and their moms go here, I come here and I always (well almost always) have fun. 4 stars!

I ordered 4 redbull vodkas for $40. And Busby's east is known for their cheap STRONG drinks...helping you to start off the night of debauchery with friends faster.. Cheaper than going to hollywood or DTLA also fun to ppl watch IF you have bunch of friends there and IF you can still have fun sober.

I think they start charging cover after 11pm because of their Mile High Club. if you have connections, you don't have to wait in line... If you have a table, you don't have to wait in line. Get there early (I think 930? but who am I kidding. the place won't be packed until 11-12ish..) to either avoid cover charge and/or long lines.

Don't come if you're expecting the glam club scene. Don't come here to meet your future bf/gf because they chances are they weird/creepy. Do come here if a group of your friends and their friends decide to go! :)

    TIPS:
    -Valet or Street Parking
-dirty dogs at the end of the night outside!
-Fridays seem to pack faster than Saturdays

I've been a couple times during my early college years, and haven't been back until about 3 years later. It's gotten a lot more popular since, yet I don't really understand why.

I guess what's nice about it is that it's decently spacious and you can choose to either sit and convene in a sports bar-like atmosphere. Or you can go to the large room next door, and it becomes a club with a decent DJ. Drink prices aren't cheap, but aren't pricey either.

Last time I visited, there was a huge line out the door and I was baffled at how crowded it was. Plus, there was a $10 cover which was unheard of. But I paid it regardless and noticed that the place seemed grimier than I had remembered. But I'm not sure, it might have just been me.

*Read part I preceding this review*

After the catastrophe that is Busby's West in Santa Monica, we decided to try Busby's East in Beverly Hills. We figured there must be SOME redemption in this name!

Entering this bar/lounge, the music was a little bit better and there were actually people! Score! We situated ourselves around a table and close to the bar. The ambiance is a lot better than Busby's West. The drinks were decently priced - I think we got 3 shots for $18. Not bad at all! The bartender was even nice enough to give us all 3 extra shots for free, nice!

We all danced and had a MUCH better time here than at Busby's West. It's certainly not a mind-blowing place, but it does the job.

Okay. Let's be honest: this place is a 3.5. I was never the type to dress up and expect to dance all night long in heels so this makes it the perfect place. It's not entirely upscale so I can practically wear anything and still make it in to get my groove on.

I never had a problem with the lines because we were there before 10:30pm. It is a very chill vibe and basically has one dance floor that plays top40 & EDM. 3 bars: one on dance floor, one near lounge area and one in smoking area. Correct me if I'm wrong but those were the only ones I've seen.

The shots are outrageously huge but they better be for the price of $15/shot. They also make some pretty strong Long Islands here. Does the trick most of the time.

Not feeling like dancing? Chill around in the lounge area. They have pool tables and even a basketball machine.

Just want to smoke your lungs out? This is right smack in the middle of this place. Enter the small crowded alley and smoke away! This section is always packed so watch out or you might get burned.

Oh and whoever said street parking? They lie. You need a permit to do so and don't even take the risk. This area has a person that patrols on feet to check every car.

Others say this place is fill with young "kids". What do you expect? You're in a freaken club. We are all young, dumb, and full of cu... yeah. You get the idea. At least you know everyone is legal in there. & to those girls thinking they are a hot shot: grow up. Guys only want you for a booty-call so don't make yourself sound so classy when you wear short, tight dresses made for your little sister. Respect yourself and others shall respect you then this place is really not half as bad.

Also, to those that complain about the Asian crowd, this place is located at Ktown... We don't go to Mexico and ask why are there so many Mexicans or go to France and ask why is everyone speaking French. YOUR ARGUMENT IS INVALID.

I actually feel very poorly giving this place a one star review.

Overall, the place was nice enough, the bartender nice, room to sit, reasonable prices.

My issue with the place was one of the waitresses. No seating available at the bar, so my friends got a table, and others continued to join us at the table throughout the night. After waiting for way too long for service, we decide to walk up to the bar to grab some drinks. After we get a rude lecture from the waitress about how that was inappropriate, we receive worse service the rest of the night, and the people joining us each get their own lecture as well.

If we're buying drinks from your bar, does it matter that much about where we get them from? Happy to try and purchase from a waitress if possible, but didn't seem like it was that night.

Maybe she's just one bad apple, but she ruined the night for a few of us.

I've only been here once but I don't think I will be coming back to this bar/club anytime soon. If you went to UCSD, this place is exactly like PB Bar & Grill on Thursdays...Asians everywhere!!

    Pros:
    No cover for the ladies

    Cons:
    Predominantly Asian
    Weak drinks
    Weird setup
Only valet parking (DON'T park on the streets cuz its permit parking only)

I couldn't really think of ONE pro about this place except for the fact that there is no cover charge for girls. Nothing was amazing about the dance floor. I think there's bottle service but it doesn't look any more special than the normal people that are there. I wouldn't recommend this place for a birthday party or girls night out.

    ONE STAR.

Busby's is not quite my scene..... My friend and I got there at 12 & there was a long ass line.  It took us 45 minutes to get inside and we paid $10.  The bouncer was really nice though.  He told us that he would let us in for free, but his boss was standing at the doorway so he gave us two free drink tickets! Awesome.  As soon as I walk in, I'm like "Oh my god..." It's crowded.  Actually more like crowded and cramped!  There's a gang of drunks... No I mean TRASHED people (mainly girls that night).  There's a SHITLOAD of Asians too!  I couldn't even walk.  I was basically walking sideways trying to slide in between drunk people.  There were people making out basically everywhere I went.

There's a dancefloor here, a bar area, and some other area I think? I don't know.  I only went to the dancefloor and the smoking area.  There were 3 girls dancing up on stage and my god.. I wanted to grab two of them and drag them down.  HORRIBLE.  I don't even think they were working there.  I believe they were just some drunk ass girls who found their way up onto the stage and thought they were sexy enough or good enough dancers to be dancing up there.  No.  Why do I think they weren't workers there?  They wore jeans, spandex, tank tops, shirts. Yeah.

From what I've heard, drinks there are around $10+.  I don't know because I got a free drink from the bouncer and another one from my friend.  Their drinks are pretty strong and they give you a lot.  My friend got a shot of patron and it was almost half of the cup she received.

The bathroom... It's crowded.  The boys and girls bathroom are located in this hallway so you girls have to squeeeeze your way thru the boys line to get to the girls line.  The lady in the bathroom who gives you paper towels and such was quite mean in my opinion.  She was constantly yelling at people to move cause she can't see (she was sitting at the end of the line..) and for people to hurry up and use the bathroom.  Um.. Do you not know how much people have to pee when they drink? Sigh... Dislike.

They kick everyone out at 1:30am.  We walked out and damn, everyone kicks it outside for a while.  My friend said that afterwards, they start kicking people away from the sidewalk.  My friend also told me that today was really crowded for some reason... I guess I'm down to try it again.

Am I really writing a review for Busby's?  Well ... here it goes ...

    1. Drinks are gross, but strong. So prepare yourself.

    2. Mostly an Asian crowd - nothing against it at all,you know, since I AM Asian, but just sayin for all those who dont know.

    3. Rude and annoying bouncers. COME ON.

    4. CROWDED.

So why am I giving this place 3 stars if i've been complaining? Well, because as much as the venue sucks and the crowd sucks (someone cut my roommates foot by dropping a glass and didn't even bother to apologize) and the line was SUPER long, I almost always have a good drunken time. Don't come here expecting a 5 star lounge. This isn't the place. This is your typical Asian college student hang out that will inevitably get you drunk if you let it - so if you're never been here, prepare yourself for it.

P.S. If you're a UCLA student, show 'em your Bruin ID and get in for free before 11. :) Other than that, get on guestlist or expect to pay cover.

    I love Busby's East and I can't and won't deny it.

Lately, it has turned into college asians central on friday and saturday nights but considering that I fall into that demographic...can't really say much.

Anyway, music is usually good (I can't hate on DJs who play house music anymore because they don't have a choice) but they usually have some good hip-hop playing in there which is why I love it. The dance floor can get super crowded some nights but there is also a decent bar area with tables (that you don't need to pay for or reserve) as well as a game area. It's a chill atmosphere (most of the time) unless people are too drunk for their own good and who usually get kicked out anyway.

I've come here several times on Thursday nights as well and the energy is definitely a lot less but same good music, decent drink prices, and plenty of places to sit around. If enough space, they let you bring out beer pong tables as well and it's almost like an advanced college house party. Lol. But nonetheless, I love the casualness of Busbys!

If you're coming Friday or Saturday night, make sure you send in your guest list before 8pm . Also, free for UCLA Bruins on Friday and USC Trojans on Saturday!

I like to go out to new places in LA but I always seem to go back to Busby's whenever I can.

Oh Busby, we can never forget you. That night where we got lost for 15-20 mins due to detours (typical LA roads), how we stroll through the alleyway looking for a parking space till we run into valet drivers hanging out back there, when we waited by in entrance in a short line thinking "Hey, this isn't so bad.." till we walked inside and WAKABAM! you're in a restaurant and it's shoulder to shoulder playing footsies and square dancing, and when we went over to the smoker bar/hall to get flashed by girls on the other side of the window in the VIP/reserved section (it was PG-13, all we saw was their 3rd "M" sized boob and a bra?).

For the most part, the crowd seems more easy going then the usual. So that is what saved the day. Otherwise, good luck being served and serving yourself at the bar (other than the bar at smoker section of course), finding somewhere to sit down if that is what you go to clubs for, break/pole/swing dancing because you've only got a drive-through dance floor, and finding toilet paper (sorry girls... and boys?).

As for me personally, first date and first dance with that girl of mine, puts this place at a 3 star! w00t w00t!

This has been on of my favorite places to hit Friday night. Most of UCI is there so I always run into people I know, and the dress code is pretty lax. In comparison to the other clubs/bars i've been to, this one just seems more chill. Crowd is young and asian and I just feel at "home" here. Cover is free for girls before 11/if you know someone and drinks are not too overpriced. Music is a mixture of house/top forties so its exactly how I like it.

I don't get it. Is it a nightclub, spots bar, playland? The wallpaper, flat screen tvs, and basketball hoop-- who did your interior decorating? Five people who couldn't make up their mind.

I think last night was Asian night or something and maybe I'm getting old, but I definitely wanted to get out of there as fast as I could.

My wallet was pickpocketed at this joint. Security told us to go downstairs only to be escorted out of the "club". I love Asians, both men and women. I hate that I can't even trust my own people... not to mention the staff.

The short haired blond guy at the front of the bar... watch his pours. He likes to shaft you. The long haired one... he will give you what you pay for. I'm a bartender. Watch the pours. 4 counts = 1 shot.

I came for the club portion for a buddy's birthday on Saturday night. Parking was a pain, but I ended up using a meter to pay until midnight, because the meters in LA are free on Sundays =)

It was chock full of Asians, and there was the bar part next to a dance floor part. I don't know who the DJ was, but he/she/it was horrible out in the club. They kept playing techno mixes of songs. The bar had the better music, with old school hip-hop and R & B.

They had a pool table and a basketball game, so that made the night amusing. I refused to go to the dance floor with that kind of music.

Typical prices for LA as far as beer and shots/drinks go ($9-$12). The only reason why I had a good time was because my buddy got trashed.

Bottomline: Different bar/club with some tv's because it's a sports bar, but it's still a bar.

The first time I went here, I actually enjoyed the place a lot since it had everything: a dance floor, pool tables, ping pong tables, TVs, reasonably priced drinks, etc.

HOWEVER, last night was a complete disaster. My friends and I went to celebrate a birthday, and decided to order bottle service. Everything was fine up until the point where they totally tried to SCAM us. We ordered two bottles, which amounted to a little more than $600. All of us tried to pitch in with our cards to pay for this, but the waitress told us all the cards were declined. We were all like "Wtf?" since we all had more than enough money in our accounts. One of us even tried showing the waitress his balance through his phone.

At some point, the waitress even took one of our unopened bottles away for some unknown reason, yet that bottle was still charged.

After much confusion, we went ahead and just paid in cash. The next morning several of us received calls from the fraud investigation department of Bank of America saying that there were suspicious transactions made that night as well as that morning to Busbys. After explaining what happened, the agent told us that Busby was actually on their black list and that this sort of thing has happened to several people before us. Apparently, Busby tried to swipe us for another $400 combined on our cards!

The bank was able nullify a few of the transactions but a few of my other friends still have some of this money charged. I honestly feel like this whole ordeal has ruined Busbys for me. I don't know if I'll ever trust them enough again to order bottle service next time.

I didn't like the techno or dubstep or whatever the DJ was playing, I swear the guy thought he was Skrillex.............. Anyways, I was soooo ready to get my hip hop on but the hip hop never came :( overall it was really fun though and I danced anyways, I would come back again :)

Friday nights are always guaranteed to be a fun time. I love the music, I love the dance floor space and I freaking love dancing. Busbys makes it easy to party hard with good friends without having to worry about getting all decked out.

I have always had a great time here and always run into familiar faces. My friends always have fun here too.

Came here on a Wednesday night with very low expectations. It was pretty fun considering there weren't very many people there but was fun playing pool, shooting hoops and just hanging out with friends. There is also karaoke!!

Came on a Thursday night, bigger crowd, more fun.

Line gets a little crazy later in the night. Is it obvious that I pretty much have fun any time I'm with my friends? Not hard for me to have a good time anywhere I go. I guess Busby's gets 4 stars because of all the memories I've shared with friends.

Busby's is like that one friend who's a lot of fun to be around but is always the cause of your inevitable hangover the next day. Many a mornings have I spent nursing my Zombie-induced hangovers from the night before. Be careful when ordering those, by the way.

I've always had a good time at Busby's because the vibe is more laidback and chill than a typical LA nightclub but is still poppin' enough where you want to have a good time. There are two rooms, the main bar area and the main dance floor. Main bar area has better music before 12AM but after 12AM, haul your drunkass over to the dance floor! From 12AM to 1:30AM, that's where the good music will be. Top 40s remixes and occasional EDM. But after 1:30AM, they start playing shitty music to make you leave.

The bartenders are awesome, hands down. They're always generous with their drinks, which by the way, don't cost too much. Prices are around $8-$12, I believe. One of the bartenders is a total sweetie and always gives me free chasers and occasional free drinks. He says it's because I look 12 years old. Pshh, I don't look 12 *grumbles*..at least 18 when I try.

And since when did they start letting cover bands play during Saturday nights?! There was some Fall Out Boy-esque pop cover band playing popular songs with two singers, no one playing their own instruments except for a drummer. I just wanted to dance to the original song, damn it! Not listen to Cobra Starship's "You Make Me Feel" from some guy wearing a skirt! Not that I have anything against guys who wear skirts, I just get confused on whether I'm supposed to dance vigorously to the mediocre performance or stare at the guy prancing around on stage and flashing his hairy legs.

As of late, Busby's hasn't really been poppin' and the crowd was rather small and dispersed. It's cuz all y'all Asians are still at Belasco *cries* I still love Busby's and all, but someone's gotta do something and bring back the crowd. And that doesn't include booking bad cover bands.

First of all, great place to watch sports. Lots of screens, some pool tables to play if your not into the sports and other sport related games are there too.
Secondly, the food is good. I've had the barbecue western burger, which was huge, juicy and tasty.
Alas, the beer is tepid. Not cold, It should be served around 45 degrees.
And, unfortunately, the staff seems to have zero personality behind the bar. I watched as the bartender leaned on the bar with his face in his hands as if he really was bored out of his mind. And this was going on while a huge playoff  football game was coming down to the wire. He didn't appear to be into it; at least watching and engaging with the customers that were there to watch the games. He looked as if he had better places to be.
The same goes for the servers. They were congregated around the server well and only would come around when they saw someone finish a beer or clean their plate off. At best they were order takers. No attempt to suggest menu items or even up sell liquor. Smiles were hard to get and no thank you's after.
I would suggest a retraining into what it means to be a staff in a bar in terms of engaging with the customers.

Expect mediocre here. It could be so much better.

So I was here for a friend's birthday party last night. I'm just going to review based on what I experienced.

First off, we got there early, which was great...because that meant the reserved area we had for dinner meant we didn't have to scream at one another during munching. What was my qualm about it was that we kept repeatedly asking the waitress to separate what myself and the hubby was eating/drinking...so when it came to the bill, it became a giant clusterf*ck as to how to break up who had what. Again, waitress said it wouldn't be a problem...oh, yea, about that.

So our group kept getting larger and larger...and so did the diverse background of our giant entourage. Now, being asian myself, there sure was a heck of a lot of angry asian men...and women wandering the premises. Now, I'm not sure if anyone cares to notice or care about that issue, but hot damn...the clientele here really need to get a drink and learn to smile! Too many frownie faces up here yo!

So we got to the reserved section of the dance room...and man, can the DJ turn the decibel down on the crap music? Most of our group ended up retreating to the bar or pooltable area to get our hearings back. It's one thing to blare music, but crap music? Me thinks not!

Drinks here are weak and overpriced. Looking around at the majority of the angry looking asian crowd vs. this token happy go lucky asian girl...yea, pass!

For my girlfriends and I, Busby's East is like a terrible booty-call...

When we feel like going out and can't think of anywhere in particular, we'll fall back on Busby's. It's easy. There's dancing. The drinks are strong. It's free for those with Bruin cards before 11pm (though we're no longer students, the bouncers don't know that so keep your cards Bruins!).

Busby's is usually a decent rendezvous, though not always. The crowd can be interesting and the guys are more aggressive on some nights than others. On those nights, my patience dwindles to virtually nothing because men should learn the meaning of NO, and I swear we won't come back to Busby's again.

    And yet, we do.

    Booty-call.

i was too drunk and the security escorted me outside and asked for my id. i guess i was taking to long to take my id out from my wallet, so he took my wallet and stole my id and my credit card without me noticing it. i also got my phone stolen by that douche.

After hearing so many people talking about Busby's, I finally had the chance to go last Friday.  Found street parking pretty easily and the line moved pretty quickly.  Drinks were normal priced, not particularly cheap, but very strong.  Ordered a long island and the cup was filled almost entirely with alcohol, leaving only like an inch for coke!  I had to ask them to water it down. :)

I like the venue... lots of games and space to hang out away from the dance floor.  They have a basketball hoop, pool, ping pong, darts, etc.  Asian crowd, decent music.  Overall, a good time. :D

Decent club bar in downtown LA. Very Asian-esque especially as you get closer to the dance floor warehouse. The bar and arcade area is a little bit more diverse. The layout is a little awkward and walking around can be a hassle. People get pretty sloppy here on the weekends.

Alright, I've been here more than once so I can finally write a fair review about Busby's.

This place has the best music on Friday nights. For some reason, it is SO difficult to find a nice bar or club that doesn't play House music throughout the entire night. I do not do drugs, so house music is really not fun for me. Busby's plays good ol' hip-hop and Top 40's like they should.

Friday nights here, you will see every single Asian college student in Los Angeles. It's a really young crowd. You will not see an old person in sight, excluding the pool table section where there are always a few outliers.

The dress code is uber-casual. Do not wear heels unless you want to look like an idiot. Leave the heels in Hollywood and Downtown LA.

Drinks are STRONG. Tip well, they make your drinks like how all bars should make drinks. Ladies, don't be HM and expect a fancy cocktail. You're at a sports bar.

Parking can be difficult, but my friends always park in the Bank of America parking lot. Free.99.

Get to know the bouncers so you can ditch the line and not pay cover. That line is too ridiculous to wait in.

I'M NOT EVEN ASIAN AND I LIKE IT!

Been here a few times and I've had fun every single time. I started going here when the 80's cover band "Fast Times" would have shows. The place itself is pretty big and has a nice clean ambiance. It can get super packed and crowded at times but it always seems to be a good crowd. As some of the reviews indicate on Fridays and Saturdays it tends to be an Asian crowd. Overall a pretty cool place to have a few drinks, play some pool, and get your dance on.

went here 3 times and all 3 times it sucked

prices seem whatever at first i got a vodka red bull for 10 i was like ok at least its not 12, than i got an audios and it was 15 but it was hella huge n strong so thats not too bad. bartenders are nice and get you serviced fast

the crowd was boring at 11:30 the club portion had like 2 groups of girls and 2 groups of guys and nobody really dancing on a saturday night. I been here on fridays and it was way more packed but the crowd was still iffy that night

the bar portion was packed, overall it was pretty boring and the crowd had no energy so we left to another club

the only redeeming factor is that its free before 10, but from that time until 12 its boring so id rather wait n pay or just not come at all

This place was really cool.  We showed up for the MOTH Storyslam and had a great time.  The bartender in the main area (where all the flat screen TVs were) was super cool.  I haven't been out for drinks on a Tuesday night in at least a year, but it was mild and non-crowded.  Beer prices were nice and low, too.  I would return!

    Pretty awesome sports bar experience.

I guess because I came on here for a Thursday Night Football game it wasn't too bad. This place has TV's everywhere. Some places decorate their bars with jerseys and team flags, Busby decorates their wall's with flat screen TVs. As for the drinks, wide assortment from Stella, to Sam Adams, to Dos Equis, to Fat Tire, all for $4 (pretty reasonable compared to other bars). Additionally, I ordered the wings, and I was surprised at how good they were.

Also, they have 2 pool tables, a ping pong table, a dart board, and a smoking room, so this place is pretty chill. Maybe, I would rate this place differently on the weekend, but for now, normal nights are pretty awesome.

Not bad for my first time here. The decor is cute, the facility is nice in general. The drinks are priced as expected, all of the staff is good-looking young folk, and you can find free parking at the bank of america lot if you come early. There was an adorable but very nice elderly lady who monitored the bathroom. The drinks weren't extremely strong, but apparently just 1 or 2 can make tiny asian girls get extremely wasted...

It's actually fun to come sober and play a little game called "how many girls topple over" or even "how many really incoherent girls can you spot?"

There are a few types of people to expect here:
    1. Hipsters by the bar. (It's extremely casual dress here. There's a sign that says that dress code is enforced, but I see no dress code)...
    2. The drunk celebrating people.
    3. Messed up girls falling in every direction.
    4. People actually there to play darts or something.
    5. That awkward guy who thinks he dances well but is really just swinging his arms around like an ape.
    6. Fobs that are having the times of their lives, because life doesn't get better than being able to grind in public.
    7. Students-by-day/borrachos-by-weekend.

It's a pretty eclectic little place with something for everyone of all ages. Not bad if you're looking to have an inexpensive good time.

I live a block away and frequent the Tex Mex rest. next door. I am not happy with this club due to the club goers who park in the lot next to my apt and throughout all hrs of the night are inconsiderate, loud and fights break out all to often with police etc.. having to intervene. I'm sure the club might be a lot of fun and for many as I see the lines to get in are always huge. However for those of us that like to get some sleep  as late as 2am and beyond this is not at all fun!

Busby's East is a pretty cool club/sports bar or whatever you call it. It's not super fancy which is cool because you don't have to get extremely dressed up. I went once in jeans and a t-shirt lol. The bartenders pour enormous shots! And the drinks are not as expensive compared to other clubs. I like the bar that further away from the dance floor more because from experience they give more alcohol but is always more packed.

We got bottle service there once for a friend's birthday. It was $200 per bottle of Grey Goose. Still not worth it =P Oh and if you're a UCLA or USC student, you get in for FREE!!!! WOO HOOO!

    Dear Busby's Management team,
I have this experiment going not to give the evil cable companies any of my money. Unfortunately I am a sports junkie thus I need to get my fix of Sunday football at your establishment. Please, please for the love of God hire some mediocre looking waitresses who actually don't mind their job and check in on customers once in a while! It is in your best interests, right? There have to be plenty of strong candidates in this town of 3 plus million who know how to serve and don't spend 7/8 of their time: texting, eating, chatting with the bartenders, and generally pre-occupying themselves on anything but the customers. Another benefit of this: the bartenders may actually spend less time "eye-ball oogling" them and refill my beer! Let's not let Time-Warner win this one, huh?
    Best.

    HAHA GOOD OLD BUSBYS.
Do not go there on a Thursday night if you're in the mood to dance. It's not as crackin as it is on Fridays and Saturdays. It's free for girls but I guess they charge on special occasions. I don't know.

I recommend this place if you just want a chill night out. (& I'm not saying the atmosphere is chill but if you dont want to go clubbing but still want to go out, take some shots, and dance...go there!)

It's filled with a bunch of drunk Asians. There's usually a handful of cute guys but they always turn out to be dicks.... i mean really, must they blow out their ciggs in my direction? i am only 5'1 so it's obviously gona get in my face.

anyway, the drinks are within normal price ranges. The dj usually plays mainstream music and the dance floor is moderately spacious.  the bathroom is tiny considering the number of drunk girls who need to pee. i feel like i'm at a high school dance everytime i go there but i'm probably gona go back haha.

Dislike. Long (unnecessary) line to get in. Pushy people. And interesting crowd.

Seriously. Every time I turn around I think i see someone that I recognize, I raise my hand to say hey, and I realize that it's just another Asian person that resembles my friend. Oops. (And I'm Asian, so that's saying something) I did that probably 15 times throughout the night, so I stopped trying to say hey to people, because only one of those times was it actually someone i knew.

The bartender I ordered from all night was friendly, and so was the DJ, but other than that the whole night was a bust. However, one of the security guards inside (robert!) was nice enough to come with me outside and tell the bouncer that two of the people in line (my friends) were his friends so they could get in without waiting. So plus one star for him.

Other than that, probably won't be back. If you're looking for a bigger...um...variety of ethnicities, i wouldn't recommend busby's east for you either. Hit up the skee ball machines at busby's west instead!

Are you an Asian that loves Asians? Then you'll fit right in at Busby's East!! (Fridays and Saturdays only)
The drinks are pricey but they sure get you buzzing.
Busby's has a combination of a dance floor and a bar inside! What more could you ask for from a drunken night?
Also. I met my gf here through a friend of a friend. So this place holds a special place in my heart!!!
    Tips:
    1) Make sure you make your guest lists at busbysla@gmail.com and arrive before 11pm
    2) Park in the Bank of America parking lot across the street for free parking
    3) Go wild!!!

I changed my mind. This place is actually infested with a bunch of newbie frat boys and teenybopper girls who are excited about turning 21 and getting down and dirty with each other with beer goggles on.

    Pass.

This was probably only my 3rd or 4th time clubbing for 2011.  I feel like i've somewhat grown out of it but heck it still can be fun in moderation!  So I came to Busby's East location on a friday night, for a friends birthday, early and on the guest list, I hate waiting in lines.

I had to work all of Halloween weekend so this was my one night to have fun and fun I had!  Straight to the bar we went and I was happy to see the selections of beers on tap especially because they were dark/brown beers and some I've never had or heard of before, I love beers.  I started with the newcastle werewoulf a seasonal summer ale seems a bit lighter than in taste  than the standard brown ale newcastle but I enjoyed it many times that night.  They also had a Black Butte Porter and Downtown Brown by Lost Coast Brewery, they were all YUM.

So after being a wall flower for couple hours of drinking and conversating with friends they suggested that we hit up the dance floor.  Long story short, the Music was to my liking, I was tipsy and I let it all go dancing as if no one was watching.
*Hint* for the guys just nodding their heads with a drink in their hands: You don't look cool with your wasted gaze gawking at that mildly attractive girl wearing the black cocktail dress.  So easy up, try not to hump everything that walks your way and just have fun.
