Nice clean non-smoking restaurant; friendly service; reasonably priced food. I like their pad thai and curry; their spring rolls are pretty good too. While this is not the best ever Thai restaurant, it certainly beats many asian restaurants in Mobile.
Usually when I am in town for business I'll stop here for some basic thai food. Their pad thai is alright, and at least the service is very friendly.
Busaba is not one of my top Thai restaurants. Although the service was very good, the food was just okay. The fried rice I had was not even ordinary but the spring rolls were better. I have had much better Thai food before!!
Great food, atmosphere, and service. Curry dishes seem to be their specialty and they're excellent. When you order your dish you can specify level of spiciness (1-4 peppers) which is nice. The prices are reasonable and the portions are good-sized.
I travel a lot too, but I'd say Busaba is only OK. But it seems to be the best in Mobile. You can get your food hot and spicy. But the balance seems off somehow as if it needed a drop of fish sauce or something. They do seem to focus more on curries and such than dishes that are fresh ingredient heavy.
I travel extensively. I've eaten in Thai restaurants all over the country and I thin Busaba's ranks right up there with some of the best. Their food is always fresh. The curries are remarkable. Service is always pleasant. I've never had a bad meal there. And I really love Thai food!
