When we say we're a dealership for everyone, we really mean it. We're here for parents buying a first car for their teenager. We're here for people seeking great financing options on used trucks. We're even here for people who simply need a little work done under the hood (which we leave to our ASE and Master-Certified techs). We certify every used vehicle on our lot, we carry a variety of makes and models, and we service both foreign and domestic engines so every driver can count on us. We're an independent dealership with decades of experience and a ton of cars you're sure to love. So the next time you're driving down our section of Highway 13, stop by and discover your neighborhood dealership where you're treated like family.

Don't buy from here, they sold us a car with the engine light on. JT said it was because they changed the battery and to give it a couple weeks. If it didn't turn off to bring it in. We didn't feel comfortable driving it so I went to O'Reillys and I used the diagnostic computer. The issues it brought with JT, this man talked to my husband in a way that you should never talk to a customer. He was so disgusting, I couldn't believe it. This man knew what the issue was and made sure people didn't tell us. In the end we ended up paying $565 dollars on a car that already had it on and sold it like that. It makes me so angry that we still had to pay for it.
Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Heather R.Minneapolis, MN544Mar 11, 2024
Very inattentive. Spent 5+ hours to be told that my file was moved in line by another salesman. Credit wasn't run until LATE Monday though I was told it would be taken care of first thing
Couldn't get me the rate I signed for. Bought and paid for full coverage insurance bc they required it. Out $250 for no reason and had to wait over 36 hours to find out they couldn't do the deal as promised. Waste of time and stress.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Vance X.Saint Paul, MN01Feb 7, 2024
Shady people don't buy cars here. Sold me a third party warranty to cover nothing. Only drove the car for 2 thousand miles and claiming it's my fault for not check oil when my check engine light and oil light didnt even turn on. And yet still can't tell me what cause it to lose so much oil and blame that it was my catalytic converter. The car only had 50 thousand miles on it and lost so much oil. Now the new tech manager I quote "at his fix rate price he can get my car fix for 10k" to get it fix and for me to get a new use motor with 40 thousand miles for 10k. When I quote for less than that elsewhere for less than that. I don't really care if you guys are changing management in your business at least show some decently for all the people that bought cars from guys. Thanks for nothing.

UPDATE!!
Initially had rated them 1 star when i thought they were not willing to work with me on a Pilot I bought that had warning lights on the next day. When the owner, Jordan, got back to me after the 4th of July week, we worked out an acceptable solution to my problem. To me this marks a good business. It is east to earn 5 stars when the car sold has no issues, it is harder to do when the business makes an attempt fix it.
I appreciate the willingness to figure out a solutions, and the communication between JT and Jordan was very good either by call or text.
Jordan's desire to make sure that I was satisfied is the reason I will consider them again in the future.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Jul 7, 2023Previous reviewBought a 2018 Honda Pilot with a 3 month/3000 mile warranty.
While I will admit the response time and willingness to talk to people is very good, the willingness to figure out a solution was not.
The day after I bought the car the transmission light comes on, take it back in a couple weeks later, becuase they are so busy, and let them keep it for 5 days to take a look. They add shutter guard, which does nothing to address the fact, and the warning light comes back on again. Their service department suggest I take it to my own repair shop, and let them file the warranty claim since Burnsville Motors shop is very backed up. My mechanic informs me that warranty will cover $1500, which, for a transmission is about $3000 short of coverage. Burnsville Motors is unable to offer any solution, and says that is the warranty I bought and now I am out an extra $3000.
It was my understanding the warranty would cover the powertran, and while it does, I did not realize it was only to $1500. I feel this should of been explained, AND I should of read it better. I put the blame on both of us for that as it is always buyer beware, but this has been a 6 week process to get here now, and it is has been incredibly frustrating.
I understand cars can test out just fine one day, and then the next day have a failure, but it seems crazy that this warning light was not seen before I bought it, as it comes on 75% of the time when i drive above 60 MPH.
I am very disappointed in Burnsville Motors, and will not do business with them again. - Maddy J.West Bank, Minneapolis, MN01Feb 27, 2023
My experience with JT, Joey and the entire staff working together made my car buying and urgency of my situation easy and stress free. They truly work as a team and I couldn't be happier that I was able to work with such a good team! My new car itself has proven its worth for safety and performance.
Thank you!!!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Gigi S.Saint Paul, MN01Apr 5, 2023
My rating is no stars.
The vehicle they were trying to sell us needed over 6 thousand dollars in repairs per our mechanic. The dealership manager said there's no way he was going to put that kind of money into a vehicle he's selling.
The car was actually dangerous to be on the road. He was rude and condescending and basically told us we cost him money and there was nothing more he could do for us. I really hope that someone doesn't buy this vehicle because it is very unsafe and unless you're coming in with a 6 figure income, they can't help youHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Cholo V.West Bank, Minneapolis, MN01Oct 13, 2022
Really thought the place was good but quickly found out that it was all about money. They have little to no care about you as a car buyer. Communication was horrible and I really regret going here in the first place. Hope everyone can receive better service because mine was good awful.

These guys totally changed my view of car salesmen! They were genuine and didn't try to push me into anything I didn't need. Really trustworthy, transparent, and have your best interest in mind. Thanks for the great service!

If I could I would give them a minus 2. Told us car was there, got there "so sorry, the windshield got a rock and is being repaired". Made an appt with us to be sure it was there. They Verified the appt over the phone same day as appt. we arrived. They have us do a test drive, we wanted the car, walking in to write it up was told that it was sold. Other people had been doing paperwork when we walked in so it seems they told someone else "if you get here soon (before OUR appt) the car is available". The windshield still cracked so "getting repaired" is a lie. No call no "other people got here first"and telling other people to "hurry and get there" instead of calling me (I could have been there earlier). Got told a sob story of someone who totaled their car needed a car. I pointed to my 19 yo daughter having been in an accident and said "same". We took the time to go there 2x and they sold the car out from under us. Then, bait and switch "how about this crappy car instead". Don't go there.
