I made the mistake of coming here by myself at night the other night.  Yikes!  I won't do that again alone.  Sketchy folks who gave me bad vibes... I've never been so happy to step out in a dark parking lot and see a cop patrolling it.  I may be a wuss, but seriously, not a warm fuzzy feeling here at night...

HOWEVER, I am a fan of bargain shopping and have found great deals here.  If you like places like TJ Maxx and don't mind sifting through items to find a great deal, you may just like this place.  I know I'll be back... during daylight hours!

I have been to this store in Memphis. It was very nice both stores in this city. But when I came here last Sunday I wanted to cry. I drove like 40 minutes to come here. I am woman size and I could not find clothes with 2x size. I should have asked. But this place was like the 70's. Not much light, depressing and the bathrooms looked old, dirty and fuchila. I wil not be coming here again. I agreed with the other yelper not safe.

Eeeewww....what a depressing store. I started having second thoughts when we pulled into the small parking lot. The exterior of the building is dirty and the roof is shabby. The area between the two sets of doors is dirty with garbage on the floor and no trash cans available. My heart sank when we stepped into the store and I saw the look on my friend's face (She was SO looking forward to visiting a BCF for the first time). The low (8-9') ceiling, dirty floor, crowded racks, only a couple of shopping carts (that wouldn't roll) - all of this was totally a downer. We headed for the coats and shoes. The shoe area was a MESS with shoe boxes on the floor. The area outside of the dressing rooms was untidy. We also looked in the ladies tops, housewares and jewelry and weren't impressed with any of it - crowded, dirty floor, unkempt. I would never recommend this store; it was not a positive shopping experience. I came out of the store and immediately used my antibacterial lotion. I've been in other BCF stores and have come away with many bargains; not so in this store.

Nope, I don't have a baby.

And, come to think of it, I'm not even invited to many baby showers. My friends aren't really the procreating kind.

However, this place has such cute baby clothes that I just have to buy some every time I come in here. Little onesies or sockies or jammies. It's all just too cute!!! Who can resist pastels???

I'm not even sure if I want kids, but I suppose it can't hurt to be prepared if the unexpected should happen. At least I know I have a couple of boxes just full of cute little kids clothes waiting to be worn.

I just love collecting baby clothes and can't wait to take Laura N the next time she comes to town!

Update: If you think this review is serious check the date stamp. It was inspired by Deputy Weigel's love of collecting baby clothes...just in case. Here's a PSA: http://youtube.com/wat...

FYI. they sell more than coats. My best friend and I went budget shopping over the weekend. One of our friends is having a baby shower soon and had registered here. Walking in the place is like walking into the ghetto. Sorry but the weak little security guard dressed as a plain clothes "greeter" couldn't stop your momma from stealing her grandma panties from here even with her bad knee. I distrust places that distrust you the moment that you walk in the door and I got that vibe here. The place is huge and their sections should be categorized as "gangsta", "pimp daddy", "ol lady", "trashy","WTF", and a small area reserved for"Normal". They had some great coat selections but not in the mood to really look when it is fricking hot outside. Shoes had potential but the sizes were either Asian girl 5's or baby got feet 11's. They should really put the baby section up front since it is the best part of the store. Lots of adorable outfits to choose from and really good prices of average $15. The baby supplies, changing tables, comforter sets, swings, bouncy were better priced than at Babies R Us and they have a good selection. If you don't mind being eye raped like you are going to steal something walking in the door and can find your way to the very back of the store it is worth the savings.

This store has a not-so-fresh feeling. For the most part my visits here have been unsuccessful. I usually leave feeling dirty and a little depressed.

That being said, it is the first place I go if I need organizing accessories for my bath or kitchen, bath mats, kitchen rugs, a White Elephant gift, stockings/socks and belts. I have also found very cute stationery here and scored a great-looking Calvin Klein wool peacoat for half of what I would've paid at Nordstrom's.

It's a bit of a drive, but if you hit the antique mall upstairs, it's worth it.

This is one of those outlet stores, sort of like Marshals, but offering a lot more in the way of selection. I started frequenting this place when my boyfriend got a job that required dress clothes and we were on a strict budget.

Their clothing selection is massive, particularly in the men's department. There is a whole section dedicated to long-sleeved, button-up shirts. There are rows and rows of slacks, belts, socks, etc. I can't stress enough how huge their men's selection is.

The prices are decent compared to what you would find in a department store. If you spend enough time wandering, you'll find good deals. We once picked up a dress shirt/tie combo pack for $9. They have many ties, all ranging from $7-$15, typically. Shirts are $15-20, sometimes a little higher in a rare case. Slacks are about $30.

Since it is an outlet, be sure to check the quality of your items. Examine seams and buttons, make sure everything seems strong, well-made and in place. We had one pair of slacks recently fall apart; a seam on the leg gave out and the zipper broke, all on the same day. They were $20 pants.

There is also a women's section, as well as household stuff, toys, etc. There are some good treasures to be found here. Just be sure to give your items a good looking over before buying, the return policy is 7 days, store credit only.

Dang-it, this place is HUGE!!

I need my GPS unit just to fine the front door!

"Outlet" prices, seem good to me.  Huge selection of baby-stuff.  So the selection is not limited to just coats.

I can't seem to find any little elves making coats...

Looking for bargain baby items? Look no further.  I feel like this is the infinity pool of baby stuff and maternity clothes.  You walk in the door and it just keeps going and going.  I literally get dizzy with rack after rack of items.  But maybe I'm just dizzy and should get a drink of water.  Or go sit down.  Good thing they have a nice selection of glider rockers and chairs here, too.  They also have some nice options for cribs at really great prices.  But like a lot of bargain places, good luck getting someone's attention if you have questions.   When you're ready to pay, however, they miraculously appear.   but, eh, I'm an independent shopper, so I guess I like to be left alone.

Customer service here sucks BAD. They're rude & it feels like ur gunna get in some ghetto brawl with their cashiers or sumthin. Store is set up weird...feels like Im in a border town tourist store in Mexico. U might find a few cute things here for a decent cheap price... but honestly the staff makes it not worth it.

i bought a Strawberry Milk bubble bath jug about a year ago from here. i still have it at my parents' house. i like Burlington-only because it's fun to try on accessories, shoes, and sift through racks and racks of clothing on sale.

the selections are not my cup o' tea... but it's huge here... and a great variety of things. from baby clothes, kids toys, menswear, and more... the women's selection is kind of out dated and boring for my taste. but whatev. i can always shop for well-priced winter jackets for the whole fam here!
