If you're into camping this is the place for you!
To get into the Burlingame State Park Campground you'll have to pay a fee. There's hundreds of campsites, which sounds like a ton. When I was there each campsite was booked! One of the showers was broken in my "neighborhood", which was unfortunate.
They have a camp store for all the items you manage to forget on trips like this, bathrooms, showers (25 cents per 5 mins), arcade, beach area, playground, field, volleyball, etc. Good place if you're into camping with your family.
I grew up going to Burlingame State Park Campground. In fact my parents went here before I was born, while my mom was pregnant, and they still go many times throughout the year. This is one of the best campgrounds ever. Unlike many campgrounds this one still has great sized campsites that are pretty private with trees separating each site (most sites are like this but not all so get familiarized with the campground or ask for advice when booking a site). Last time I checked they charge $20/night (used to be cheaper but it's still a huge bargain). They have a great camp store, an arcade room for the young ones, and is situated on a lake so when it's warm you can take a dip (I remember seeing a ton of canoes here so you can most likely rent one). Awesome place if you're into camping.
