Cheap and fast. The burger patties are obviously pre frozen and formed, but what would you expect from a place like this?
The fries are heaven. Thick and not too salty. The staff are nice. -

A really unsatisfying dinner for 2 Bostonians on a mission to find good, fried seafood.
What did I expect from Burger Queen anyways?
The only thing I can say that I liked about the shack is there is all you can eat ketchup, relish and mustard.
The pricier Maryland crab cake meal was such a disgrace. The crab inside was indistiguishable, the cake itself was squishy and underseasoned. Overall, it was inedible without tartar sauce. All for $14.
The chicken sandwich actually tasted decent, but if you're expecting a piece of lettuce or slice of tomato in there, you'll be disappointed. You literally get chopped chicken bits sandwiched between a soft burger bun. That is all. Unsatisfying.
The fried clams were alright. Full of fried crunchy dough, very little clam. You gotta pay close attention to what you're chomping through. At least it came on top of a bed of frozen french fries. That was decent.
You'll get a better bang for your buck at Burger King, for realz. -

Good prices for fresh seafood. Fun and friendly staff. They were quick to help, take our order, and serve us. My husband got to take a picture of the guys wearing those hilarious hats and was pleased they were so happy to pose for him!

A cute little burger joint with a cute name. Located close to town center, in the middle of everything, this Queen of burgers offers a lot of local flavor.
As Jim reported, not much care goes into the burgers and they can come out overcooked.
Other offerings include subs, hot dogs, fried fish and seafood, fries and onion rings, frappes, and tonics.
After you order you can sit on the picnic tables out front and people watch while you eat. -

Outside picnic table dining, fair burgers n' stuff. Reasonable prices.
Prone to overcook burgers.
Ok choice if you're in a hurry, but that's not what P-Town is about is it? -

It isn't fancy. This is a great place to just grab some quick fuel for the trek down Commercial Street. The burgers are basically your basic burger. They have some great all beef and foot-long hot dogs. Condiments are basic and the toppings are standard.
They have some great milkshakes, root beer floats, etc. My major complaint on the drinks is the frozen lemonade. I ordered it and spent half the time picking little chunks of lemon rind out of my teeth. I know you want to show real lemons were used, but honesty, it became a huge pain in the ass spitting five of these pieces out with every sip. Before you even go there... no it wasn't lemon zest for flavor, it was both the yellow zest and the white bitter pith. The experience stole from the usually refreshing quality lemonade has.
All and all, a cheap place to eat and recharge without investing a lot of time or money, But guess what?!?!
You can still get to experience P-town's wacky, assorted cast of characters! -

Tasty cheeseburger with fries to munch as you people watch. We loved our 15 minute break at the BQ while visiting P-town this week. Waitstaff are attentive (quick service) and friendly. Our guy even modeled the T-shirt for me before I bought it. Too cute.
Good cheap eats that didn't leave me with tummy troubles later -- we will be back ;)Listed in: We're going to the CAPE!, Burgers!!!

Came here for lunch during our P-town adventure. I must say that while this place was A-OK, it had been hyped up to be a bit better. Cest la vie.
I had the cheeseburger with added bacon and seasoned curly fries. Neither was anything special to write home about, but they both hit the spot. They have a little condiments station where you can squirt them on your food to your hearts content, with a plethora of napkins and utensils as well. Prices I think are slightly high for what you're getting. My meal was around $13, but was probably only really worth around $9.
I heard from a few people who were eating in our group that they were disappointed in their milkshakes, and after hearing their feedback was glad I didn't order one.
They do take credit cards, but note that there is a $15 minimum, so just keep that in mind when ordering. -

Went here for lunch yesterday with some of the Yelpers and this spot, located on the main street in P-Town, was quite busy as we arrived. Regardless, we all placed our orders and were promptly served our food, progressively, as most of us found seating in the shade.
On my menu was a vanilla milkshake and a Philly cheesesteak. First off, the cheesesteak, which came open-faced and served on a toasted hot dog bun. Not very traditional but it tasted a lot better than it looked. Wasn't much meat or cheese in there though, mostly bread.
The milkshake I did not particularly enjoy though, the vanilla taste was... Well it might as well have been a plain shake. It lacked any kind of flavor. A real shame, I was looking forward to drinking it while the sun was beating down on us.
The prices are decent, the service quick, making this modest establishment an ideal spot for a quick lunch, but overall, I feel like it fell short in terms of flavors and quality. -

Better fast food at picnic tables under a canopy. A good way to get filled up and not break the bank. Recommended for burgers etc. Popular spot on Commercial Street across from The Patio.
Enjoy... -

My partner loves this place being a huge carnivore and all. He thought it was perfect for us because I'm vegetarian and they have a veggie burger. The sad part is, the veggie burger is cooked with the meat so it's a no go.
Root beer float kicks ass though and the service is great. -
Review from Chris P.
Good, reasonably cheap eats on Commercial Street. It's a small shack with five or six picnic tables outside, and that's it.
Your options include burgers, chicken fingers, hot dogs, or a few other options all grilled or fried. The hot dog was meh but the chicken fingers seemed to be *gasp* REAL CHICKEN.
Overall I'd say good, but I think there's a lot of missed potential in putting together some unique and creative burger combinations. Burger and fries is available anywhere, why not make a "Provincetown Burger" and put some tasty stuff on it?
Good for a quick stop, but there are a ton of restaurants in this town - try something a little more creative. -

A small dive burger place, the two sandwiches we got were excellent. Prices seemed reasonable. Not a whole lot of seating.

In an area where over priced seafood touristy restaraunts reign supreme, Burger Queen is a nice change of pace. It was by far the cheapest meal that I had while down in P-Town.
They have every possible standard topping you could want to put on your burger. They have a variety of fries (including sweet potato!). My only gripe is that the drinks are in a can. Yuck! Give me some fountain soda for my $1.50 please!
It's a charming little building with outdoor seating consisting of brightly colored picinic tables. Perfect for just taking a breather and enjoying a meal in the crisp P-Town air. -

Kendall Park, NJ
A regular burger and curly fries came out to be eight dollars and change. That's still on the cheap side compared to other places on Commercial.
The burger was very ordinary. Regular-sized beef patty topped with lettuce, tomato, onion, and seedless bun. Basic condiments were available. The curly fries were expectantly good.
2 stars based on the average burger with a conservative rating. But it's comparatively cheap food with a good location on a lively street. -

This place is one of my favorite "fast food" places in Provincetown. I've eaten here about three times. It's a little pricey for what you get. A burger, fries, and a coke will run you about $11-14. But its very quick... and tastes good.

Like the others said, this is an acceptable place to get a cheap(ish) meal and people watch. The folks who work here are super friendly and sweet, so that wins them an extra star in my book, and makes me want to be kind in my assessment of the place. Don't stray from the burgers, milkshakes and fries though. The fish in the fish and chips is square and reminds me of second grade, the fried clam strips are overfried and disappointing. You're way better off going to the Pig for some pub grub or burgers, and it's only a couple dollars more. But, if you want to take in the scene and enjoy a frosty milkshake, this will do.

Before a night of dancing or drinking, the burgers and milkshakes here are a great cheap dinner. Considering the high cost of everything else in P-town, a cheap meal is invaluable. It's not poetry on plate, but it will fill you up.

Wow, waste of time and money. I ordered the "platter" of fried scallops and a water. For $20, you would expect something somewhat substantial. Literally, the chef quartered two whole scallops, breaded and deep fried them. Plus, the tartar sauce came out of a plastic package. Nothing homemade nor delicious.

Best damn burger in town. Fun, friendly staff. I think I turned into a cheeseburger from my last trip -- yet I still have no regrets.

Perfect example of a 3 star place. Not bad, not great, perfectly average in every single way. My cod sandwich was tasty, and hubby's hot dog looked pretty good. My vanilla milkshake had absolutely no flavor, maybe next time I'll opt for the frozen lemonade or perhaps a strawberry milkshake. Prices are very reasonable given the fact that it is right smack in the middle of all the action. Sweet potato fries were very tasty as well. They only have outdoor seating which is good if the weather is nice. Again, perfectly average.

Ugh.
Overcooked fries, tasteless scallops, uninspired setting. You can do much better in Provincetown. -

Ahhh, Burger Queen... What a delish treat! Cheap, yummy burgers... but teat the burgers on-site. Last time I took them home and they were quite soft and un-invigorating!

Good, inexpensive food, and a great opportunity to people watch while you eat. The hot dogs with kraut were fantastic, although my lady and I both ordered foot-longs and they were two different sizes (which I don't really get . . . foot-longs should be a foot long, right?), but they tasted great, and the fries were good too. I do agree that the beverages should be fountain drinks, not cans.

Came here for a quick and easy lunch during our day trip to P-town - so so glad we did! We were the first ones to arrive after they had opened and we were warm and beat from walking Commercial Street all morning so we were happy to plop down on one of the colorful picnic tables and relax - didn't even have to read the menu as i've read so much online about their milkshakes we immediately ordered a lobster roll platter (cheapest in town), grilled cheese and a vanilla shake. The shake was absolutely delicious, frothy and not too sweet (some Yelp reviewers said the shakes were bland and not sweet) but i like it that way. Totally hit the spot on that warm Sept afternoon in the sun. My 15 month old baby enjoyed some sips of the shake, half of the grilled cheese (which was hot and delicious and came with fries) and really enjoyed her lunch. My husband said the lobster roll was simple and delicious. No fillers, just tons of fresh lobster. Hot fries hot the spot too. Good prices, cute friendly guys at the counter and absolutely no complaints. A very colorful, friendly place for a casual quick meal - just perfect. We would hands down come back to Burger Queen!
