Review from Cheryl R.
Great selection of burgers, sauces, meats, etc. I had the California burger, and though the burger patty itself was definitely over-cooked for MY tastes (I like it nice and rare my friends, Rrrrr-rare!), the burger was still delicious and filling. I'm always happy when I can have fresh avocado on my burger. I added a small french fry and a Blackberry hand mixed milk shake to the deal, and omgosh, heaven. The fries were perfect, even if they were likely frozen fries from Costco. Perfectly cooked, is perfectly cooked.
My 5 and 1/2 year old daughter even liked her "Kids Meal" of a breaded chicken strip, small fries and 100% apple juice. And she doesn't like anything!
Her dad had a burger with grilled mushrooms and blue cheese, don't remember what it was called, and also got the combo deal with fries and a Carmel shake. Yeah, delicious!
Be prepared to wait... this ain't no "fast food", and the food didn't all come out at the same time, which was kind of a drag (especially when the kids meal was last, and she was the hungriest of our group), but I wasn't in a hurry, and it was late on a Saturday afternoon so they weren't slammed with people. We enjoyed looking at the Wall of Fame photos, all the folks that had consumed their multiple patty burgers in one sitting (12 hamburgers? Yikes!).
The space was pretty clean, especially the kitchen area. The guy who took our order (the owner?) was exceptionally friendly. Parking is plentiful and free. All in all, a great experience. Would DEFINITELY go back, if for no other reason than the milk shakes. Wow, so good. I can't stop thinking about them. -

Had lunch earlier today here. The place is average to below average. The burgers were prepared fine but the meat quality seemed weak. Hard to describe exactly just did not taste high quality and lacked flavor. A top sirloin burger from Costco or an angus buger from McD's would be a better option. they advertise as being fresh but the meat simply is not high quality...doesn't taste organic or grass fed, etc.
Some here are complaining about prices...but they are par for Seattle.
I'm a bit suspicious that the overly positive reviews are fake...just can't imagine how they could be realistic based on the food here! Anyone that describes this place with superlatives or as better than Seattle institutions like Red Mill or Dicks is either intentionally lying or is a horrible judge of quality food.
Overall it was very average experience at best...and that's not enough these days.
Unfortunately would not recommend this place... -

Moving around Seattle has great food everywhere, but a awesome burger and yes I tried Dicks but I didn't have enough patty to actually enjoy the hamburger.
We caught this on our way out of town and saw the reviews, so thought I would give it a shot. Upon walking in noticed that it was a little bit more higher end burger, meaning more meat.
I ordered the Aloha burger after being reminded of the burgers in Japan and how well they tasted with teriyaki sauce. My wife had the madness.
AMAZING! the burgers are full of flavor, the buns are are awesome, the cheese was nicely melted however seemed to be kraft, so could be better in that department.
I even took over my wifes burger after she got full and gobbled it down. Hers drooled cheese out of the center which is just pretty much to small pattys cooked together with cheese in the middle.
The fries are typical steak fries, which they had some cajun fries that would just complete the pure awesomeness.
I am definitely a fan and wish they had one out here in phoenix area which would just destroy smash burger into bits.
Overall: Bravo! -

Food was only okay. I was not a fan of their signature madness burger. Another in my party said her chicken sandy was outstanding. Overall, I had high hopes and was disappointed. There's also a huge sign that says Mac and Jacks all day happy hour $3. I ordered a Mac and Jacks and got a huge $5 Mac and Jacks. Don't really mind, but I'll like to have that discussion about price and quantity.

I really want to like this place. The staff is friendly but the fries are crappy, it's noisy and the burgers are kind of meh, not to mention that you wouldn't really be in the area unless you're making a trip to Costco, and if you're going to Costco why not enjoy the once every couple months uber cheap Costco meal?

My big complaint here...was WAAAY too much garlic powder in the paddy. i couldn't taste anything else. I could have been an awesome burger...I just couldn't taste it for the garlic.
The shake was awesome and the onion rings and fries were good. But I can't get past the garlic. :( -
Review from Roger W.
I'm sure you've all heard of the stack 'em burgers...It really adds to the experience of chowing down on a burger here. Every time I'm here, the conversation inevitably turns to "how many could you have?". I've been here probably half a dozen times now and haven't tried the stack 'em challenge because I always have to return to work afterward and don't have time to take a nice long nap. =) Maybe someday.
The blue cheese burger tastes great, but skip the sourdough (soggy) and replace it with a kaiser or onion bun. The fries are just your usual frozen crinkle fries with zero seasoning....use lots of fry sauce! Burger Madness should definitely upgrade their fries to go with their "gourmet burgers".
The price of these burgers are absolutely FAIR. Your burger is made to order so EXPECT to wait a few - several minutes for your burger to be ready. Enjoy a beer while you wait! -
Review from Nath, A.
I had ordered something off Amazon, and they sent it to me using a large well-known shipping company that has a customer service center in this area. After getting one of those 'Delivery Attempt Failed' notices, I gave them a call and had a conversation I've had many times before. No, they can't leave it on my doorstep. No, they can't redirect it to my work address. Yes, they can hold it for pickup. So I hopped on a bus, went across town, switched buses, found the shipping place, waited in line, and was cheerfully told that the delivery truck driver was late, and that I should come back in an hour or two. And that's the story of how I came to be killing time in small, nearly-empty SODO burger place at 7:40 on Friday night.
"Madness," said a voice behind me. Tell me about it.
"Madness," said the voice again, softly. I appreciated the sympathy, but the telepathy thing was starting to freak me out. I turned around.
"Madness?"
Ah, right. My 'Madness' burger was ready. A cheese-filled patty, usual trimmings, onion bun. It came on a bed of crinkle-cut fries, and the guy gave me squeeze-bottles of ketchup and fry sauce.
The burger was successful. Reasonable crust on the outside, meat still pink and juicy, well-seasoned. The cheese filling turned out to be a sort of grease-based cheese sauce, which sounds kind of gross, but worked. Reminded me of a sauce-stuffed kebab I used to eat sometimes as a kid. Nothing remarkable about the bun, trimmings or fries. Fry sauce was your usual mayo-ketchup variety.
I don't know whether all their burgers are cooked to a nice medium, or it was the filling that made mine a little rarer than usual. I'll be back to try the All-American the next time UPS -- sorry, I mean 'unnamed shipping company' -- commandeers one of my packages. Note that they allow you to stack patties as high as you want, so you Californians missing In-N-Out might be able to construct a reasonable approximation of the 4x4.Listed in: Cholesterol

Nom nom, pretty good burgers but geez they are way overpriced. Like wayyyyyyy too overpriced. A normal burger, fries and a shake can easily cost you almost $11. If i'm going to spend that much i'm going to a Red Robins where at least my fries and drink are refillable. If you get a burger and you want well done, be sure to tell them as they do leave some pink in the middle. I loved the fried fish burger and their onion rings, but not enough to make coming here a regular thing.

Eric Denmark finished a 12 patty burger in less then 5 minutes? HOLY FCUK! I was struggling on the 5 patty burger myself!
I would like to believe that if you did not know if this place, you would probably never have found it. In the SODO district next door to Costco is not necessarily a place average people would wonder off to, but the burger was awesome! On each succulent slice of patty was topped with a slice of cheese which made the burger even heavier than it already is (tread carefully). I don't have much recollection of what the fries or shake was like, but the rest of my family seemed to love it. I'd definitely come back -

What!?
I can choose my burger patty size AND my bun, in addition to my actual burger stylings?! AND you will legally allow me to also engorge myself on fried mushrooms, sweet potato KRINKLE fries, and a shake?!
Burger Madness, while you are my current favorite anything, you are also my absolute worst enemy. You're going to give me incredible, hittin-da-spot lunches, but I'll hate you later that afternoon when I fall asleep at my desk, resting my chin on my newly formed food-baby. You're like Beloved, in that Oprah movie (or apparent book by the same name), and you're going to tempt me with ribbons and sweets--or incredible fried goods and juicy patties--only to leave me with that depressed yearning, knowing it is not good for me and will not last.
Oh, but you WILL last, Burger Madness. Not only because you are a solid restaurant with a menu I'll want to come back over and over again to explore. You will also live on as a part of my waistline. I hate you. I love you. -

Been here a couple of times while heading down to Costco and I never have any hesitation to stop back in. I always get something different than my girlfriend, so I get to try a couple things at once. Haven't had a single burger that I didn't like! :-)

8 hours later and I'm still not hungry! I had a double bacon cheeseburger and my patties were well down. Next time I will order them medium. Actually, next time I think I will order only one patty is it should be enough. The curly fries were bland but my nephew's steak fries were good. Lastly, the shake was awesome! I will try again.

***Prices quoted does not include tax!***
I just paid $6 for a bacon cheeseburger that wasn't even good. Bun, lettuce, cheese, bacon, mayo, and the patty, all probably came from the costco next door. Actually, I take it back. I love costco. This place tasted like everything came from some second rate grocer. I don't buy the whole "everything is fresh" bs one bit. And if that IS what fresh tastes like, you guys need some SERIOUS preservatives!
Fries:
Curly - okay
Sweet potato - tasted like reheated day-old. yuck
Regular fries - like biting into an unseasoned potato. no flavor. just because you deep fry something doesn't mean it's delicious, just sayin'.
I also tried a bite of my bf's burger which had pineapple. I love anything with pineapple, but this burger was SUPER bland. not good. Also tried his coffee shake, which was good.
Counter burger in Ballard is much better. As is Herfy's around the corner in Georgetown. Better price $$ and yummier burgers AND fries. And Herfy's has great shakes, too!
There was an article on the wall where a reporter actually described it as "inexpensive" - ummm... you need to be FIRED! $5.99 for a bacon cheeseburger, really?!? -

Simply the best burger I have ever had! And they take Amex. Fries didn't hold the same standard as the burger and it did take a bit for the order, but totally worth the wait. Can't wait to go back.

Review from Thomas J.
Had the all-american burger, with bacon, double.
It was good. The toppings were fresh, the burger was made to order, and the fries were crinkle-cut like you've had 1000s of times before. Leaps and bounds better than chains. However...
I suspect my burger patties were overcooked, based on other reviewers claiming that theirs were juicy, so I'll just assume that mine were. Next time I'll order it rare, I think, if that's allowed. The edges of the patties were kind of burned to a crisp - so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and say that it'll be better next time. -
Review from Jen P.
Erin O. hit the nail on the head.
I have to say I was impressed with the extensive menu, that the burgers were cooked to order and with the food in general. I had the Aloha - I downgraded to a 1/4lb burger on a wheat bun and it was perfect!
But the bathrooms were horrendous! I've seen nicer and cleaner bathrooms at rest stops and gas stations. They were downright scary and I'm glad I waited until I was done with my meal before using.
And the garbage can in the restaurant was filled to the brim, and it was hard to get our garbage in without touching the garbage itself, which would require a trip to the gross bathrooms!
I'll be sticking to take out ONLY. -

The firs time I came into this place I ordered a regular hamburger meal. My hamburger was undercooked and the young girl at the register was quite rude.
The second time I came in I ordered a side of onion rings and a hot dog. My onion rings were burnt and my hot dog was very old and the bun was hard and crunchy. When I walked in the the girl behind the counter looked at me, did not acknowledge me, and continued on wiping down whatever it was that she had in her hand. She was on the right side of your counter next to the cooler. I had to look around the cooler to get her to wait on me. At that point she still had not said HI and just picked up my to go food and dropped it on the counter. Please note that thegirl whowas at the counter was the the same girl from my first bad experience.
Despite my first two horrible experiences I decided to give your establishment one last try. I ordered a kids meal for my child and had asked if I could replace the French fries with onion rings. The girl told me I could (with no mention of an extra cost), so I placed me order. When I went to pick it up instead of being charged the normal kids mealcost of $5.99 which is listed on your menu, I as charged $7.49. When I asked why there was a cost difference she said it was because of the onion rings. I advised her that I was not told on the phone that there was an additional charge for the onion rings and her response was "sorry and well is this for you". I did tell her that it was not for me and proceeded to tell her that Mthis does not leave a good feeling with me about the integrity of your establishment and that she should make a note for the future to advise people if there will be a difference in the cost that they are expecting. When I opened my bag I had 5 onion rings. I cannot believe that I was charged $2.00 more for 5 onion rings. Had I known that I would have gotten the fries. The shocking part in this scenariowas the rude employee was AGAIN the samegirl from my first two visits.
Needless to say I will not be visitingthis establishment again. I will also adviseeveryone I knowto not visitthis establishment either because of how horrible the service was and how bad the food is. Its a shame thatthe employees do not show pride in the food that they serve or the customers that provide them with business so that they can receive a paycheck.
Have a wonderful day! -
Review from Jarrod L.
I went in to try the 12 stack challenge. I was kinda wary, but feeling like I'd be able to do it. The burgers were cooked medium-well to well done, but they were still juicy. The marinade they use on them was a nice amount of subtle spice. The bun and fries were forgettable. I was able to finish the combo in 21 minutes, lightly chatting with my friends as I went (I was trying to finish in under 30 minutes, not to eat as fast as I could).
I'd go back again even just for regular burgers instead of silly challenge burgers. It's a far better burger than Five Guys but not into the fancy realm like Lunchbox Lab. -

I've been here three times and all three times I had a not so great burger. the burger looked and tasted like it was frozen and the grease was all over the bun, The produce looked like it was out of date and it was just a tasteless burger.
My last visit I tried the chicken strips.. what a joke, they were over cooked very dry and no flavor what so ever.
I don't think I'm going back.. -

Everett, WA
Over priced kids menu. We paid $5.99 for a chicken strip (singular), a fruit cup (actually a small plastic bag of sliced apples), and a small juice box (from Costco). Wow, that is how much their burgers cost. In comparison, you can get a 3-pc chicken strip & fries for $4.99 or a 6-pc chicken strip & fries for $6.99. In my opinion, $2.99 for the kids menu items would be more appropriate. Plus, the bacon cheese burger made my wife sick for the rest of the afternoon.

Did you know that beef can be classified as a mild hallucinogen? It's true. If you don't believe me, belly up to Burger Madness and order the Stack 'em High Combo with 12 quarter pound patties. Once you cross the 10 patty threshold the fireworks should start!
Well OK, maybe not fireworks but colors seem brighter and sound echo-y. Or maybe that's just the brain distracting the body from the incredible beef bowling ball sitting in your gut like an immovable obelisk.
The burgers here are pretty tasty, and that makes wolfing them down pretty damn easy. The staff are truly friendly and will offer tips on how to tackle your burger behemoth if asked. Sure, eating a tower of burger goodness is somewhat of a gimmick but this place makes regular burgers too ... and if they're anywhere near as good as the Stack 'ems I'll definitely be back to eat'em.
Lastly, if you do decide to go for the Stack 'em High and succeed (minimum of 5 burgers and you have to eat your fries too) your picture goes on the wall! So did I succeed in downing my 12? Well just check out the wall when you visit ..... but do so before your 10th patty .... if you're hallucinating .... you might miss my mug .... -

I really didn't like Burger Madness because the burger wasn't that phenomenal, especially for the price. When compared to places like Luna's or Red Mill, this is crap! The shakes are gross, and are served in a soda cup. Really? Save your money!

The quality of the finished product brings me back.
I had the Calorie Buster = Beef, ham, bacon, fried egg. Most delicioso. The toppings were fresh and crisp also. Not a cheap meal by any means but I love the quality. Burger Madness..... Do what you do! -
Review from Jens J.
Nearly as good as Red Mill Burger and definitely better (and cheaper) than Lunchbox Laboratory.
Burger Madness is located in back of Costco in that newish micro-mini strip mall. From the exterior, it appears to be a sports bar with beer neon signs in the window. And yes indeed, there are four different beers on tap here.
Inside are two community tables and a snack bar along the window. The only other customers beside me were a Sound Transit cop and a King County Sheriff's Dept deputy.
A huge menu hangs above the order counter. Probably ten different burgers. Several fish options, including clams. Three different salads. And a kid's menu (so no, this is not a sports bar).
A very friendly and smiling boy took my order for a So-Cal burger and chocolate shake. The hamburger was good with avocado, tomato, crispy bacon and a light yellow-tinted dressing. If the sandwich had not had so much salt, it would have been very good. But still, it was not nearly as salty as one of those creatures that Lunchbox Lab churns out. I'm just teasing LL now!
My chocolate shake was super thick, eliciting a brain freeze in only a matter of moments. The shake had a nice marbled appearance and tasted pretty good, but did have a bit of artificial flavor and slick texture.
One curiosity: they had a Rock Star cooler on the counter. On top of the cooler were four empty Jack Daniels bottles. I wonder why, they don't server liquor here. I can't believe I used to drink that J.D. rotgut back in the last century.
Speaking of Rock Star energy drinks, I just found out today that right-wing-nut talk show host Michael Savage was one of the founders of Rock Star. Knowing that, I will never drink the stuff. The Brits have it right when they announced this week that Savage is persona non grata in England. -

This place = damn good.
I've visited the location and had nothing but great servie and good food to boot. Went there with a large group of people for a 10-Stacker challenge (see the pic) were one of my friends was the first to complete the 2.5lb pile of beef and cheese in under 30 mintues. The prize? T-shirt, pic on the wall, $20 gift certificate, and plenty of time on the porcelain toilet later on. No... not because the burger wasn't delicious, just that having too much burger can be bad for your bowels.
On another note: yes - the fries aren't particularily fantastic. I like me some seasoned, fresh cut fries that don't taste like they fell out of a bag. -

Disclaimer - I know one of the guys who opened both of the Burger Madness places, he used to run the Deli next door and told me long before I stopped eating red meat that he was going to open this place. I promised him that I would try it when they opened and review it.
So, today I ate a burger. A promise is a promise.
I will start with the things I didn't love:
1) the fries
Hmm. Okay, I suppose that is it. Pre-fab frozen fries lacking the amazing seasonings that Jae would thrown on the fries he made at the deli.
As for the burger, I went with the All American with cheese. You know, I've been to Red Mill and though the burger was tasty, I was still never inspired to review it....
The patty was a smidge dry, but I kind of prefer it that way - I like my burger to stay in one piece and hate wiping juice from my hands, especially considering I ate this bad boy at my desk. Other than that - TAAAASTY. I don't know what kind of seasonings they throw in their beef, but goodness it was flavorful. Good beef too. Fresh.
Toppings are also FRESH. The fried zucchini? YES PLEASE, I don't typically like zucchini but I tossed that down my gullet with no hesitation or anything to dip it in.
Word is that they are working on getting a liquor license to help increase the business in the evening. When that happens, I will promptly march back to try the fish and chips. No question.Listed in: *EAT AT JOE'S*

Poor Seattle. You think this is a 5-star burger? I'm not even comparing this to a gourmet burger, but a very similar company called Five Guys Burgers in the mid-Atlantic area. Those are 5-star burgers. Fresh and juicy. Made-to-order. Beautiful, gourmet toppings (as many as you please for no extra cost). And the most delicious ground beef in a sub-$10 patty you've ever had. Plus the fries...my god...the fries. Hand cut in the restaurant and deep fried in peanut oil. Nothing like 'em. All of that for less than you pay at Burger Madness.
Ok, enough nostalgia. You're probably wondering what it is about Burger Madness that warrants a slim 2 stars. Well, I ordered the So-Cal Burger. The description claims melted cheese. My cheese was not melted. In fact, the entire sandwich seemed like it was slapped together on a pre-cooked, lukewarm piece of meat (i.e., grill/meat/cheese never partied together). The meat was just ok. It was over-cooked, under-seasoned, and not nearly as flavorful as I expected from the reviews. Want a great burger in Seattle in this price range? Head over to Red Mill. Want the best burger in this price range? Fly to the mid-Atlantic and go to Five Guys.
Burger Madness will do just fine in it's next-to-Costco location, just set your expectations appropriately. -

So if you're a small outfit with a new store, and you're going to charge the same for a burger, fries and soft drink as Red Robin, then you'd better be able to deliver a knock-out punch every time you swing!
This store can't even get into the same ring.
I've come in here enough times now to know this view isn't a bias based on limited sampling. The operators were friendly, but their real attitude was displayed in the slow service and visibly low effort put into the food preparation.
Tonight I ordered their signature "Madness" burger and got a slimy mess (pooled grease and cheese completely melted away) that couldn't be eaten without the tomatoes and lettuce falling out. The bottom of the bun was saturated with grease, the patties overcooked, and the tomato slices nearly green.
I mean the place is not beyond redemption--at least not if Gordon Ramsey picks the store for one of his Kitchen Nightmare segments. -

I have been good about eating in moderation since Monday and come Wednesday, I could only hold out for so long. I wanted something deliciously unhealthy.
Burger Madness is a little burger joint (duh?) hidden away in the constant under-construction SODO district. I was invited to come out here for lunch, but I thought that I would try to hold back. But, of course, out of my deadly curiosity, I decided to check Burger Madness out on Yelp and immediately saw the photos of the 10-patty burgers.
And that was when my strong-willed resolve and self-control died. "I surrender!" they said.
On our way to Burger Madness, I took a chance to look at their menu. I decided that I would just get the burger and skip out on the fries, which looked like the wavy ones I used to order back at the elementary school cafeteria. And luckily I did, because I had a business meeting to attend and did not want to fall asleep in the middle of it...or drool on the conference table. Besides, my friend ordered the meal and when I tried one of the fries, they only tasted okay.
They had a lot of interesting burger choices to choose from - several of them involving two of my favorite ingredients. Bacon and/or mushroom, of course! Anyway, I ended up ordering the Fire Alarm burger - which came with jalapenos, their "special spicy sauce", and pepperjack cheese. But I also asked them to add bacon to it, which did not seem like much of a problem. It was not that spicy, but it hit the spot. Very yummy! I did only get a single patty though. Don't shake your head with disappointment!
Believe me - someday I will be back here for the 5-patty Stack Em High. Their burgers are good - if you are on a quest to try every burger joint in Seattle, this is not a place to miss! And you'll be tempted to try the Stack Em High Challenge so you can get your pic on their Hall of Fame.Listed in: Between Two Slices of Bread Is…

A 4 from me means: I think it's good and would come back without anyone twisting my arm.
I didn't actually go into this place; my sister bought it and brought it back home to eat, so I can't say much about the place, but I do have some things to say about the burgers.
I ordered the all american burger (with avocados). It was nicely cooked with a smokey charcoal flavor to it (which I love). No complaints about the burger. The fries, however, I have some beef with (no pun intended). The regular fries were crinkle cut and tasted like those frozen fries that I got back when I was in grade school. The dipping sauce (a combo of thousand island and ranch) was good though...it covered up some of the frozen-fries-taste.
Other family members got shakes. They were made with real ice cream, were very rich, and VERY GOOD. -

I always meet a friend here for lunch when I'm in the area. The burgers are awesome! I get a different burger each time I go. I have no favorite burger yet because they all have been good so far. Try the "Jack Daniels". Damn, it tastes like you're taking a shot of J.D. with every bite. The "So Cal" is great too. They're all great. The thing to keep in mind is their advertised burger weight is after cooking. If it's 1/3 of a pound you're going to get 1/3 of a pound.
We recently had a Subaru meet at Burger Madness and it was a hit. It was such a hit we plan to do a regular meet here. I heard from several people say it was the best burger they've had. During this visit I'm proud to say my buddy Jake was the first one ever to finish their 10 stack challenge.
Not only are the burgers good my wife and dad got the clams and chips. The clams were big, no dinky minced clams here.
I don't know what all the bad reviews are about. People who give a bad review of the burgers at Burger Madness must have lived on Micky D burgers their whole life and don't know what a good burger is if it hit them in the face. If the place was bad I wouldn't keep going here. The other good thing is they have beer on tap, good burgers and cold beer FTW. Trust me, if a crowd full of Subie owners were happy with the burgers then that says it all. For all you people that go out to eat in your business suits, eat over your plate. I was lucky enough to be wearing jeans that last time I ate here. -

Stopped by with a coworker for lunch and we were really impressed! It looks unassuming in its location behind Costco on 4th Ave, but it's worth checking out. The variety of burgers they offer are what you'd find on a Red Robin's menu, so not really comparable to Lunchbox Laboratory. I got the Fun-Guy burger (swiss and mushrooms - get it??) and it was cooked perfectly and so flavorful! Price was decent although I didn't get the fries and shake combo.
We can't wait to bring more coworkers to try the other burgers. It's nice to have this non-fast food addition in the area! -

me and my comrade both got the 1/4 pound all-american. same burger. just burger, fresh veggies, no cheese. and it's two kinds of spreads in it. after i ate mine, i felt like i could have been the macho guy and got the 1/3 pound patty, no problem. next time i will!
the curly fries are good.
the fried mushrooms are juicy and hot and come with ranch.
all kinds of very creative burger dishes.
go to the back wall and check out all the crazy people who have eaten STACKS of beef atties. 15 is the record. crazy!!
they serve beer.
free parking is plentiful.
good location right before costco...when you get burned out on their hotdogs and pizza, come here. -

Some good messy burgers with loads of flavor. I enjoyed the cheese and onion stuffed "Madness" burger. The fries are great, hot crispy and delicious. I would have enjoyed some more heat on "fire-alarm" but over all it was a good burger. not quite as good as Red Mill, but better than most.
expect to pay $7-8 and $3-5 to add fries and a drink.
If you up for a challenge you can take on the 5, 10 or more patty challenge and get your photo on the wall. -

It was 440PM on a rainy Thursday and we need some fuel before hitting Costco.
Burger Madness seemed a better alternative to Starsucks and Quiznos (even if the do have a pepper bar).
The place was deseted, but the cashier was warm and friendly and did not seem to mind that it took us WAY to long to decide on the Gardenburger with Cheese + Fries (crinkle cut) and a Milk Shake of the Chocolate variety.
The fries were a little better than good enough, but the burger was quite nice. Crispy outside, warm inside (which is apparently a challenge for some, read: Red Robin).
The highlight of the meal was the THICK chocolate shake.
Oh, and the men's room was clean.
PS - There is some crazy eating challenge available here - eat a 12-patty stack in 30 minutes and win a $20 gift card (and, perhaps, an angioplasty). -

Overpriced, underseasoned burgers served by unfriendly staff. Save your money and buy a hot dog at Costco instead. Good curly fries though, so two stars.
