I affectionately refer to this Burger King as "Prison Burger King".
Anyone who's ever walked into this location can tell you....it's a dreary site. They have 0 decorations on the walls, and it's mainly just smooth blank wall with a dash of colored tile everywhere you look. It more like the lobby of a holding cell, rather than a fast food establishment. Even the counter and main ordering menu appears small and out of place in context of the whole restaurant. Also, the patrons are a wacky bunch. Grade A people watching here (just don't get caught staring too long).
Stick to the drive thru if you're craving a $1 BK stacker, as your soul might leave a bit polluted if you step inside. -

Being a green freshman at UOP, I didn't listen to any advice and decided to go to this particular Burger King location for a late dinner. I made the biggest mistake of my life by not wearing my Level III bullet proof vest and bringing my .45
We were greeted by the drive-thru voice machine by a man who spoke to us in a very think Hispanic accent who spoke broken English. After a grueling 5 minutes of shouting our order slowly, he finally repeated it to us correctly. But it does not end there. We were told by the cashier to park in the parking lot as they prepared our food; so we did and waited for about 25 minutes. The man runs out from the front of the fast food joint and tells us that we have to go to the drive-thru again to get our food. Annoyed, confused, and starving we reluctantly went back to get our food.
AS WE PULL UP TO THE DRIVE-THRU WINDOW TO GET OUR FOOD, a burger king semi-truck blocks off the exit for the drive-thru( for God knows what) and a black escalade pulls up behind us. At this point, we all thought we were going to die. Here we are, 4 college kids in a car at 10pm in one of the worst cities in America, about to die for a few hamburgers. After a few minutes of nail biting and saying a few Hail Mary's and Our Father's and reaching an acceptance of our deaths, we finally got our food. However, it took the semi-truck another 5 minutes to actually pull out so we could leave.
Worse experience of any fast food place that I've ever experienced in my life
THE BURGERS WERE COLD AND THE FRIES WERE SOGGY. So if you enjoy crappy food and brushes with death itself in the middle of the night, then this burger king is definitely for you.

LOL reading these reviews about this location is so true.
This place must have the most depressed and retarded employees working at a fast food establishment ever. Even the managers look like they want to end their life right there in front of all the customers.
I don't know why they tell people in the drive-thru to pull over to the side to wait for their order. There was this one time some guy got so pissed when they told him to pull over to the side and wait that he almost ran his pick up truck into the building. He came out that drive-thru pretty damn fast and just hit the brakes just in time to have his truck parked on the sidewalk and two handicap parking spaces. He jumps out and literally jumps the counter and started yelling at the employees about how he's tired of parking on the side to wait for his food. He demanded for his food to be ready within the next 30 seconds or he would be beating the shit out of every single one of them. Well, he got his food in about 10 seconds. Lol -

The worst place ever!!!
-I counted no less than 6 employees doing absolutely shit....
-They all see me yet no one bothered to approach the counter to take my order.....
-When they finally did I waited and waited and waited FOREVER for my food and there wasn't anyone else in the lobby waiting for food...
-Just 14 (yes, I counted) 14 ghetto ass teenagers you'll be seeing on COPS or Locked Up in the very near future i'm sure.....

Where have all the Burger King's gone??
I stopped at this bk on the way home tonight to pick up four of those $1 double burgers that they advertise on tv. Damn tv commercials make it look so good and make me so hungry.
I was acknowledged promptly by a friendly cashier/order taker.
I asked a few questions that she cheerfully answered.
I placed my order.. having it my way! :)
My order was ready within 1 1/2 minutes.
Overall a satisfactory experience.
Anytime I want it my way, I will stop in again! -

RUDE RUDE RUDE! Everyone working at this location has their panties in a bunch and take it out on customers.
The manager was too busy to talk to me...after I waited and waited.
Why on Earth do they make everyone pull off to the side of the drive-thru? IDIOTS!! The gal working the drive-thru is a total bitch! Be happy you have a damn job!

Worst Burger King on the face of this earth. I've been to BK's in 3rd world countries that are better than this. This is a place where you definitely won't have it your way. The service is terrible and every time I walk in I feel like i need to load myself up with a bullet proof vest and an AK47 in order to order a Whopper Jr. with fries. Stockton has a high crime rate and its finest thugs love eating here. If you go to the drive thru they will tell you to pull to the side in the parking lot because they're too slow slab a piece a meet and veggies between two buns. The employees there are the biggest vegetables who stand around and don't do anything. One time I ordered my meal and I saw all of the employees standing around looking aimlessly at a screen....HELLLOOOO the food isn't going to make itself!!! Today I went there to grab lunch and all of the soda fountains had malfunctions...i'll give it 3 months before they notice.

Are you kidding me Bubba N?? Theres NOOOO way you could be talking about the BK on Pershing.
Its the most ridiculous Burger King I ever been to in my life. Of course, I continue to spend my money there, but still its ridiculous.
First off, the whole restaurant is dirty and it looks disgusting.
Secondly, they always ask me to pull over to the side to wait for my order. Why do they do this, you ask? Its because they obviously have a timer that counts how long it takes for them to complete an order.
From now on, I'm not just gonna roll on by and let them take the credit for making my burger in 5 minutes...Oh ho ho no, I'm gonna park my big butt right there...They're gonna have to tow me out the drive-thru lane...I aint having it!!
And hooooooold up! WHY do they always got a stank look on their face when they're taking an order??? The last time I checked, I was paying a portion of your bills, Mister! You better flip my burger with a smile...and supersize my fries! -

I totally agree with Keri R. I thought it was just me. Service sucks. The wait is ridiculous. They always ask us to pull around and wait for the food. Food order is always wrong. Cold food. I could go on and on! We usually drive to Lockeford if we want to go to a halfway decent BK. BTW the Pershing location is filthy. The health dept needs to visit this location.
