Burger King Express IS a Burger King, but it sure as hell is not express! As most good places in the Thompson Center, the food court gets exceptionally packed between the hours of noon and 1pm. If you plan on eating lunch during this hour, you may be waiting for fifteen minutes before you actually get any food. Have any particular food preferences or don't like something on your food? Don't ask for them to alter the order otherwise you'll watch ten people who ordered behind you get their food first.
The waiting area to get food is too small, so you always end up elbow to elbow with people trying to get your drink out the soda fountain. At least the have the decency to leave ketchup and salt out for you to put in your bag since they are too busy to do it themselves. There are always napkins and straw wrappers all around the place and it is gross. Today's line was about ten people waiting for food and I feel bad for anyone who didn't get the standard meal, but I know better than to make any changes!Listed in: #1's, Downtown Lunchtime Tomfoolery

Ok, I usually do not review fast food places because for the most part, they are all the same. I just need to say one thing about this place though. COCKROACHES CRAWLING ON THE SODA DISPENSER AT THE HEIGHT OF THE LUNCH RUSH! You know, if the roaches are so bold to come out and hang out ON THE DRINK DISPENSER while people are filling up their cups, there have got to be a bazillion more crawling around back there.
And with that, I submit, probably, my shortest Yelp review ever. -

It's the home of the Whopper, that's all I need to know. For me, the Whopper Jr. is the only competition for a Wendy's Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger if you're comparing fast food chain burgers. This location isn't great - in a food court and all - but at least you have a lot of tables to choose from.

Probably the single worst BK I've ever been to. It's so bad, that I had to submit my first review ever. I'm sitting here right now with a half eaten Whopper with cheese (that came with no cheese) that was burned. the Char was sprinkled delicately on the bun so all i can taste now is ash. The fries taste like they were just thrown in the microwave for 30 seconds. They are cold. not lukewarm...C-O-L-D. I ordered a double hamburger for a coworker who is lactose intolerant. of COURSE i got a double cheeseburger. then the girl who bagged my food tossed it at me with no "thank you" or "have a nice day". She didn't even look at me. I don't know if these employees don't care or are just plain simple, and rude. I will never darken their line again.
