It's Burger King Ladies & Gentlemen.  The best of the Big 3, except for maybe Wendy's, but none of us reading this live by a Wendy's, so they pretty much don't have a pony in this race.  In any event, I work a job with long inconsistent hours. Sometimes I get out and this is the first thing in sight. Pretty simple process too, as I get the same thing every time, and order it the exact same way.

The food is a four star as far as fast foods go, but booooo to the Burger King training staff for their training program.  I kid you not, this happens EVERY SINGLE TIME I come to this Burger King.

Robotic Poorly-Trained 19 Yr Old Teller: "Welcome to Burger King, would you like to try our Mega Whopper with Pig Feet, Cow Tongue, Spicy Jalapeno Mushroom, Thick Cut Bacon and Chittlin' Burger combo meal with a Cardiologist's business card in between the 5th & 6th Patty?"

Dabs: "Uhhh, no, but I will have a MEDIUM #2, NO cheese, NO mayo, DIET coke."

    RPT-19YOT:  "Small, Medium, or Large?"

Dabs: (pause of building frustration until I compose myself)  "AGAIN, Medium"

RPT-19YOT: "Would you like cheese on that?"

Dabs: (grip the steering wheel till all ten knuckles slowly turn white)  "No, I STILL don't"

    RPT-19YOT: "No Mayo Right?"

    Dabs: "Correct!!!!"

RPY-19YOT: "Was that a Coke to drink?"

Dabs: "There goes your streak Kid, Diet."

    RPY-19YOT: "What was that sir?"

    Dabs: "DIET!"

I kid you not, that is what happens EVERY SINGLE TIME, no matter who takes the order.

Note to the management team. Kudos for training them well, they do everything you tell them by the book, but tell them it's ok to listen first and foremost, because some of us here can do all that work for them.  & that makes you more efficient. Hooray!

That's all folks. You live in Chicago, no need to eat fast food, & if you're single, you gotta look good, so careful...... If you come here, you'll admittedly enjoy a tasty guilty pleasure from the good ol days of mom & dad's allowance to get you by, but if you're starving and get cranky as a result of that, this staff will drive you postal.

"Postal?" you say? You got it, and conveniently for you, there's a Post Office right next door. Have at it, because if Yelp allowed Zero stars, I'd rip them a new one too.

i'm giving this place four stars because I have tried all the "great burger" places in the city and have determined maybe I'm better off saving the time and money unwrapping my freshly warmed up burger than going to the sexy places for something named after heavy metal music.  I know pathetic.  And btw Guy Fireni needs a makeover.

Burger King is burger king, if it were a good one I'd have to give it 5 stars even though i'm not a huge fan, it is what it's suppose to be. SO with that said, this one is the worst ever.

I got chicken nuggets and literally had to take three gulps of soda to wash down the deep fried sandbags they called chicken.

Burger King... get your life together, you're almost as bad as subway.

I'm getting REAL sick of being told "could you go park your car and someone will be out to bring you your food."

Isn't this called FAST FOOD and DRIVE THRU!

I order the veggie burger, which isn't as popular as the whopper but that doesn't mean they shouldn't have any ready. Most of the time, I am the first one in line, or even the only person in line at the drive thru, and they still tell me to park. But then right as I put the car in park, someone walks out and brings me my food. Now wouldn't it make more sense just to have me wait the 5 more seconds at the window.

Twice, I have been hit on by the same employee. Nasty. He touches my hand and is sick. Once, i even had my boyfriend in the car, but nope, that didn't stop him.

I have to give them 4 stars because they are right by my house, and they have the greatest fast food veggie burgers around.

Not much love for this location, I see.

Nearly all of my visits have been on Sunday night.  And the other customers there at that time are all in the same boat, a bunch of twentysomethings too proud to cook their own food and too hungover to patronize a restaurant.

The Ashland bus's wayward Irving/Clark terminus makes this a simple, mostly guilt-free fast food destination.  It's a story of men (some homeless), their Whoppers, and their struggle to...nah, it's just some dudes and their burgers.

For a burger king its pretty good. Never had any major problems here. Been going to this one for YEARS and the food always seems fresh (for a fast food place that is)
The only time its bad to go is after a Cubs game. Wrigley is only a few blocks away AND all the Buses that bring groups to the game park up and down the street a block down so it can get a bit busy and hectic.

I've never been a huge fan of Burger King but every now and then it can hit the spot. I visited this location one day with the intent of running two errands. I needed to go to the Post Office and get some lunch. I parked in the Burger King parking lot(I guess on a day when the Cubs were playing) and walked over to the Post Office. I was there for maybe 10 mins when I come out and there was a tow truck putting crap on my car.

After a heated altercation with the "Burger King Parking Spotter" and the tow truck guy, I finally got them to back off. I owe a lot of this success to the people around me watching and yelling about what was happening because I had every intention to go to BK when I was done at the Post Office. The "Burger King Parking Spotter" ended it by saying today was my lucky day.

I went inside and had my lunch which tasted worse than usual. I felt like just going in and buying 20 burgers and throwing them in the trash and then leaving. C'mon Five Guys or Wendy's...

This Burger King is right in back of the building that my grandmother lives in. I have gone twice with the intention of eating a burger and using their WiFi. The two times I have gone the WiFi has not worked for me. I called beforehand to make sure they had WiFi and I was told "yes"....When I came to use it, it wasn't working for me. Okay FINE. Can some one help me? or give me the network name? - Response from BK staff......"Ummm speak with that lady over there"...."Did you ask her?" "We don't know anything about that".... OH MY GOD! DOES ANYONE KNOW ANYTHING IN HERE! That has been my experience twice. I even complained to the manager, a male Hispanic, about my experience  and he said it was basically my fault because I did not request to see the manager. Wow, I did not know you needed a damn manager to get WiFi. Plus, I was so angry that I did not even want to eat there anymore! The chicken nuggets are SO hard and if I gave one to my dog he would  have to go to the vet because it would probably get lodged in his throat. The spicy chicken is also frequently hard. I think they leave them in the fryer too long.  Well yelpers, it was nice releasing some steam! Thank you for reading :-) and do me a favor...don't go to this BK. A bunch of chicken heads run this place.

This location is no worse than your average Burger King, Occasionally the fries will actually be fresh, but don't count on it. Very very stingy on ranch sauce.

I satay away from this place.  It's old and in need of tearing down and re-building.  Homeless are usually hanging out inside and out.  Bathrooms are really bad.  I haven't eaten here in a long time (since they stopped selling the tacos) so I won't comment on the food.

I usually wouldn't write a review on a fast food joint, but this is by far the best fast food place in the city. I am used to walking into a fast food place and having the employee give you a blank stare and ask you "what you want" attitude. Not here, the employees were all very friendly, and provided great service, even if it was just for a whopper and fries. Great job management, service and quality doesn't seem to exist at these kind of establishments anymore, but this place is one exception.
