The 88 cent Whopper special on 8/8/11 was awesome! We enjoyed large, freshly made burgers with extra lettuce. ICEEs (cherry or cola) for 99 cents were also a good value (for a medium size cup).
Unfortunately, we ordered a few other items which were disappointing. The BK slammer (single) was child-sized with a thin, dense, saucy patty. It was only $1, but overpriced at that. The portion sizes for the value menu fries and onion rings were surprisingly small, we won't order these 3 items again. -

I went here this sunday w/ my man friend and my Kel friend! We thought it'd be a quick thing... get some coffee... some fries.... a milkshake.
no milkshakes... machines break, no biggie. We get to the window and were asked kindly to pull around to the front to wait for our fries, and coffee... and now apple pie since there was no milkshakes.
we wait.... we admire the giant nissan truck van thing next to us, we talk about life.... we wait some more. Then a lovely lady brings us out the fries.
we wait....
then, here she comes again, w/ coffee and pie!!! thanks lady!!
the coffee was OK, i thought it was burnt, but it musta been my tastebuds cuz manfriend and Kelfriend liked it! The pie had a STEM in it!!! I guess that means it's made w/ real apples. the fries were not great... but I ate them all.
I thought this would be a better yelp review.
It all seemed unusual at the time... and kind of a burden, I think we were all just anxious to get where we were goin' but we kept our cool... no one was belittled.

Slooooow! After a 15 minutes of waiting the food got to us cold. It's not they were busy, in fact it took them a few minutes to acknowledge our presence (rudely) when we walked in 9:15am. WTF? Do not go here!!! I repeat, go elsewhere!

I got less than 30 minutes for lunch left...I got to stop going on a shopping spree especially if I am still on my lunch break. I got my tool, my Slurpee, and now its time to get a burger.
I drove up the weird drive thru which seems to be the King of the Hill for some reason. I was about to order 2 Double Cheeseburgers thinking, it was still $1 each, but BK replaced it with the Buck Double. I guess its OK. $2.20 was my total. As I drove up, I saw a nice, pretty girl. I think I got nervous when i couldn't find two dimes and just gave a quarter and told her to keep it. She giggled about it a little. I got my order and she gave me a big smile to me. WOW....I haven't seen someone smile that big in a long time.
The burger is average, almost dry. Maybe a little too much mustard on it. Oh well, its cheap...Actually, everything I got today was cheap. To end my lunch day, a beautiful smile. Whats up with women and me?! I've been attracting too many women lately.....

I live in Castaic and I'm not a fan of this Burger King. First of all, they barely speak English, which makes the drive thru that much more difficult. They also screw up my orders quite a bit. The only reason I occasionally go back is for their cresentwich breakfast sandwich.
Only go here if you are desparate. -

This Burger King actually has some real sentimental value to me. Growing up we would stop here on our drive from Turlock to Chula Vista, and then stop again on the drive back. The drive was something that I grew to hate with a passion. We all have our family road trip horror stories, I had to relive mine every year. Because my dad was always obsessed with "making good time" the only relief to the madness was stopping at this Burger King along the Grapevine for a quick bite to eat.

This burger king needs to get a clue. Every single time - regardless of what i have ordered - they tell me to pull forward and wait outfront. the first few times i didnt really mind because i figured my food would be made right then and hot. was it? nope. my cheesy tots seemed like they had been sitting for an hour + and my fries were cold. they also messed up my burger order. the burger king on Newhall Ranch Road seems to be more on their game.
