We stopped here on the way to Vegas and in an attempt to try and avoid the chain restaurants. It's a real hole in the wall kind of place with a mix of high school kids and various odd looking locals frequenting the place.
The food is burgers or Mexican and our group had both. The fries were fresh and tasty and the burger pretty much A-OK, Nothing to write home about but after a bunch of boring hours in a car it was very welcome! -

I hate to say this but; the Burger Hut left a lot to be desired when I ate there ca. 2005.

I had been by the place many times either on my way to Laughlin or on my way to Albuquerque so this time I stayed in the motel right across the street so I decided to give it a try. It is a true burger stand-There are no seats inside so you have to stand at the order window and order. The day I was there the outside temperature was around 110 degrees so not a comfortable day to stand outside waiting for a hamburger. There were several people there waiting for orders most I think were locals. There were two women working inside, one mainly taking orders and passing out orders and the other one was doing mainly cooking-One must have had to bring her kid to work because there was a young boy running around inside the kitchen. I had a hamburger and fries which I would rate as above average and I would recommend he place to anyone who happens to pass by.
