if you are looking for an awesome grilled chicken sandwich and only have $6 to spend, then this place should be on your short list. the ingredients (including the bread) are freshly prepared each day (so I was told--it does taste like it).

reading other reviews, i get the sense that other menu 'creations' are not as creative. nonetheless, i will go back to this place whenever i feel like chicken.

I've been here about half a dozen times.  My favorite is a chicken sandwich with jalapenos --the base flavor profile is a lot like a Jack's Spicy Chicken, for other west-coasters who miss Jack in the Box.  However, Burger Creation's quality is much higher --the bun is a delectable toasted eggy number that soaks up the sauces perfectly.

Just watch how much you order, because it can add up quickly.  NYU students get 10% off, and they do free delivery (min order $10).

    Food:

The  bun is grilled. Found it odd. I had a turkey burger with fries. Yum. Its bit pricey. I think when your eating good meat  and food products. You may have to pay more. I was impressed by the funky food options like the Tahiti burger. There are smoothies but I haven't had them.

    Grade- C+

    Customer service:

They may need more help because I waited a good 10 minutes for the cashier to take my order. She was on the phone working on another order, and making a smoothie. One guy who cooks, one who delivers the food, and another for cashier.

    Grade- D+

    Environment:

There isn't allot of good seating. There are a few good booths, and table setting. New Yorkers have a bad tenancy of taking up too much space in a seating area.  The unlucky ones who don't nab those 8 or so seats. Are subject to sit in the single seating by the wall. Which is in narrow walk-way. You are likely to get hit in the back by the delivery guy who frequently walks that narrow walk-way.  A tip; people don't like to look directly into mirrors as they eat. Its odd. At least for me. Bad design all the way!

Brown, red, orange, and green themed.

    Grade-C-

    Overall:

Just order take-out please, or as an in-and-out smoothie pit stop. Not recommended for groups, kids, or dates. Its fun if your walking with a friend to order and walk to a nearby park to enjoy on warmer NYC days. If you live/work nearby definitely a fun order out meal. Okay for catered events.

    Overall Grade-C-

Have had a few deliveries from this place and some eat ins.

The burgers are original and I love the bacon cheeseburger and cheese fires. The milkshakes are awesome too. Just had the iceberg lettuce salad today and it was like half an iceberg lettuce literally not chopped and ranch a few pieces of bacon and the grilled chicken. Weird. Anyways it was okay so i ate it nevertheless.

The place is clean and the people helpful. No outlet to plug in computer though.

I came here for lunch, and I liked the burger.  Fries had too much batter but it was served hot and crispy!

I am giving it 3 star because my coworker's burger was severely undercooked, and I don't think I would come here for burger when there is Silver Spurs down the block!  Sorry for advertising others, but this is what yelp is for, right?  You read my review and make your decision!

I got a beefburger combo meal with fries and a drink The total price after tax was $10+change. Ehhh that's kind of pricey for a burger combo no offense. However, i have to admit the fries and burger were mighty tasty. The burger was flavorful and moist. It was cooked a bit unevenly. I asked for a medium burger and it was medium for the most part but some parts were more like med. rare. The veggies are fresh tho...the lettuce tomato and red onions.

The bun is a bit too buttery for my taste. My hands got pretty greasy trying to hold it. Their fries are moneyyyyyyyyyyyyy tho. Fried to perfection.

When I first entered this place, I thought it was part of a restaurant chain I might not have heard of. Very modern and standardized looking... Then I read: "beef ground on premises" and I thought "hmmm... gotta check it out".

Glad I did. The burgers are great and so are the sweet potato fries. Everyone here has always been very kind and delivery worked perfectly. As a student at NYU (there is a 10% discount!), it is the perfect place for a meal when I have 15 extra minutes.

The Parisian (blue cheese and bacon) is my best order so far, but the other options in the menu are also awesome.

And to the BC guys: since you already have such a great look and great food, why not expanding?!

Got the Sante Fe burger.  Pretty good with the guac and salsa tomatoes in it.

Burgers look small, but are surprisingly filling.

They are cooked on the rare side, so if you normally like medium rare (like me), I'd next time order it medium.

Onion rings meh.  Not fried long enough to a golden crisp.

I like how this burger has minimal bun and focuses on the good stuff versus trying to stuff you with accoutrements/crap.

Bonus points for inventiveness in all their sandwich offerings.

Would come back next time but order the burger medium vs medium-rare and to try a different burger like the hawaiian or parisian.

They toast their buns. Enough said.

Well, also, the burgers are juicy, they are liberal with the toppings, and fries are good enough (could be better). The burgers are messy, which is a good thing in my book. The buns are gourmet. My ultimate meal is a cheeseburger and chocolate milkshake. I will go here to have that if I think I am going to die soon.

In Manhattan driving back to SI, and hungry hits me. It's 10pm and I assess my food options on SI...okay lets find something in Mahattan Island.  I pull up my trusty groupon app to find the closest place to catch a deal and Burger Creations it is.

Surprisingly, most seats in the spot where filled and it is not a large at all. While I was on the line ordering, hubby seen a table open up and had to hustle over to get it. He also had to get some napkins to wipe it down too.

3 stars goes to the food not the decor. The burgers we got where tasty, hubby enjoyed the onion rings and I really liked my sweet potato fries.  We both got the groupon now deal so we saved $4 each on our meals but with out the deal a drink, burger and fries comes up to $12 and change.

We ask for well done burgers and got medium done.

This new(ish) place on 8th St. is pretty good!
I got the Hawaiian burger, a small Spring Salad, and an orange Pellegrino.
The food, I'd rate 4 stars. The burger came on a brioche bun, with a pineapple ring, a slice of ham, and some sweetish, fruity bbq sauce. The meat was definitely good quality, and it was cooked perfectly. A little on the small side, perhaps, but tasty enough that it's worth it.
The salad had mandarin oranges, almonds, cranberries, and a sprinkling of crumbled goat cheese, with an orange-y dressing on the side. The greens could have been a teensy bit crispier, but it was good.

It's an order-at-the-counter placer (no waitress service). Unfortunately, that also seems to mean that there's no one who cleans the tables. All the tables were dirty when I was there, and the bright, white, modern decor really makes it noticeable.

I was pleasantly surprised with the burger from Burger Creations.

I ordered delivery, medium burger with portabella mushroom and special sauce.

The medium was actually medium, the burger was fresh and had a great flame grilled taste.

The portabella mushroom was $1 extra and was more like a portabella mushroom slice, not full mushroom like the menu suggests, but it was very flavorful.

The delivery guy couldn't figure out how to buzz me, so I had to go downstairs which was annoying, but he got to my apt in under 20 mins from the time I called and placed my order.

Will definitely order again and try some of the more inventive sounding burgers on their menu.

Tenka is getting out of controll!  The deal for 100 free burgers came out and it was sold out in an hour.  Actually, there were still a lot left but the worker got super frustrated and just closed it out, kicking everyone who didn't want to pay out.  Good thing I got my santa fe already (with guac, salsa and jack).

They cooked it pretty quickly, yet though I asked for a medium well, it was made medium (and pretty pink).  I think they were too rushed that day, though.  I dug the bun, which was a nice shape with just the right amount of grease to it.  I can see why this place is a popular NYU spot-it's cute and the burgers are good yet also a bit smaller and lighter than other places.

Slightly below average burger joint on my opinion.  Meat was ordered mid-rare but came out burnt. Yes, I like a little char on my burger but not to the point where I just taste the burnt and not the burger.

The staff seemed friendly and food came out at a reasonable time but I definitely wouldn't come out of my way to eat here. I would probably go OUT of my way if I had a burger craving if I was in the area...

Not the best I've been to but definitely not the worst either.  I had chicken fingers and fries while my husband got a burger and onion rings.  The cashier was polite and friendly and it wasn't completely packed when we came in.

Don't think I'd return since not sure we can handle the greasiness but it is what it is.

It's not the world's most terrible burger joint and not even close but it's not at all good.

I called because I wanted something other than Chipotle. I was hungry so I ate it but the price was not worth the wait. Their sweet-potato fries? YUCK! I felt like going back to the spot and just spitting it out at them.

I wasted $12 on lunch! Oh the pain. I ordered the Southwestern burger on the suggestion of the place over the phone for pick-up. I picked it up within 2 minutes of ordering it so I highly doubt any waiting period contributed to the burger not being so great.

The burger however does fill you up. I just don't like that it sucked. The fries were soggy and just pissed me off.

    NO.

    1/5 for price
    2/5 for burger
    1/5 for atmosphere

I'm not making the mistake again.

I wasn't expecting to eat here, as I am really not a burger guy.  Sadly 'wichcraft, a couple of doors down, was all out of their pastrami sandwiches at the very late time of 6:45pm.  Reeling from disbelief that a sandwich shop could run out of New York City's most famous sandwich so early, I didn't know what to do.  With little free time to eat, I decided to try them out.

Ironically, Burger Creations ended up being the perfect counterbalance to 'wichcraft.  The setup and philosophy are very similar, and Burger Creations really rounds out the menu at 'wichcraft, with a very nice selection of gourmet burgers.  I was pleased that my burger could be prepared to my specification of medium rare.  Also, all of the beef is ground on-site.  I opted for one of their "creative burgers" called the "Santa Fe" ($7.95).  It was served with salsa fresca, guacamole, and Monterey jack.  It was absolutely delicious, and picture perfect, boasting proud grill marks on the bun.  I was especially pleased with the quality of the ingredients, and the clean flavor profile.  Additionally, I had a side orders of fries ($2.45) which were crispy and pretty tasty.

Overall, very good quality, but the prices are a little high for the portion sizes.  Indeed, the burger was only slightly larger than a slider.  In a way this is good, I suppose, because one does not have to contend with finishing a mammoth plate of meat a la Minetta Tavern/ The Breslin.  As far as getting a burger on the go, though, this is the best place I have encountered.  Recommend.

This place is sooo under rated and delicious! It's a great place for take-out (not a great ambiance for eating there). I have them on speed dial so I can call ahead of time as it does take 7-10 min to prepare (stuff's fresh). The chicken sandwich, burgers and house salad w/ grilled chicken and balsamic are sooo delicious. Also, the sweet potato fries! Really fresh food at reasonable price point (though may be a bit steep for students...though, they do get a 10% discount w/ id). LOVE it!!

So while I was staying in NY me and my boyfriend passed by this place all the time because it was right near the condo we were staying at. The outside looked very hip & modern. We were home for the night and didn't feel like going out again so we ordered some burgers and fries for delivery.

When the burgers got there they were tiny! I mean they were super small.. But I'm not gonna lie, even though they were small they filled us both up! I had the Hawaiian burger; it had a slice of pineapple, a slice of ham and teriyaki glaze along with the meat patty of course. I loved it. I think it's the best burger I've ever tasted. The flavor was great. The fries were also pretty good. They were very different.. I think they were double battered or something. Anyways, this place was good and I'd def. eat there again if I was visiting.

This tiny burger place is located right next to Johnny Rockets on 8th Street, which must make it hard with burger competition being that close.  The place across the street has them, too.  However, they do stand their own in the area and even their shakes are good to boot.  The service here is excellent, but I wish they had more seating.

I was not blown away by their product, but I was impressed with the detail that they put into every burger here.  Starting with the grill marks on top of the brioche bun.  The burgers by themselves run about $6.50 each, to make it a meal it is even more, and to add a shake or drink even more than that.  It is nice that they do offer a salad choice from the menu as a side instead of fries.  There are about 9 salad choices and the salads are really good, no cheap iceberg lettuce and the dressings are made in house.  I had the Greek side salad, loaded with all of the olives, feta, tomato, and purple onion that you would expect.

The Sake Slider Burgers are great if you are in the mood for something that does not really taste like a burger and has a strong green onion flavor.  The onion rings are also no joke, and the beer batter is great.

As a new vegetarian, I tried their veggie burger, and it was quite hearty. The buns are a bit too large, but there are ways around that, of course. Furthermore, the sweet potato fries were very good - not too oily and just the right amount of sweetness.

Went there for lunch yesterday and had a good experience. I ordered the Parisian burger with blue cheese and bacon - it was cooked perfectly and was a solid choice. Definitely a 4 star experience.

My big issue was with the fries - they were subpar which RUINED the meal. They use those cheap coated/crunchy fries that you find at bad diners and cafeterias. There are so many other burger joints which MUCH better fries out there.

Hopefully they'll upgrade their fry selection in the future.

"How long is this burger gonna take, man?"

"Well, everything is cooked to order, it will be about seven minutes."

    "Forget that."

And with that, the man in front of me on line bolted out the door.  So offended that he would have to WAIT for some food.  The horror.  Don't worry, I'm sure something's warming under the heat lamp at the McDonalds at Astor Place.

Burger Creations is one of the new crop of gourmet fast food places around the city.  (Though clearly not fast enough for some.  Seriously - I don't want to harp on this, and I know we New Yorkers are a busy lot with every second counting.  But come on.  I would gladly wait a few extra minutes any day for food that's fresh.)  Snobbery towards other people in the place aside, I happily waited my few minutes for my burger and was pleasantly rewarded.

For a place called Burger Creations, they definitely do boast an interesting menu of some pretty out there burgers.  But I just wanted standard cheeseburger action, and I'm pleased to report that even when you order boring, you'll be taken care of with a pretty juicy patty cooked to order.  (I can't stress enough how awesome this is in a fast food-ish place).

Next time I'll try a creation for sure, but it's good to know that they've got a great handle on the first half of their name as well.

Everything I've tried at this place has been delicious. I've tried the cajun grilled chicken sandwich(spicy), the spring salad(goat cheese, orange slices, dried crans and almonds), the veggie burger and the fuji burger (w/portobello mushroom and teriyaki) . They grind their own meat so their patties are really flavorful and seem like quality beef. I also love the chipotle mayo they put on the chicken sandwiches - that stuff makes any sandwich taste better.  The prices are really reasonable and their employees are nice.  It's probably the best place in the village for a burger.

A really nice treat if you have the time to wait for your order.

The place is easy to find, clean, and has an open feel due to the pleasant decor and efficient set up.  Today's cashier didn't exhibit much of a personality.  But she, too, was efficient and didn't give me a hassle about my coupon.

My mini Saki Burgers were EXCELLENT!  Though the cashier didn't ask me what temperature I wanted the burger, I forgot to specify.  So we'll call it even :-)

Still, the burgers came out a medium temperature that I actually liked.  I usually order medium-rare...but this medium was still very succulent.  Overall, I've not tasted a burger like this before.  All of the flavors balanced very well.  And the grilled brioche roll was a perfect kicker!

The wings were fried extra crispy, per my request.  They serve five wings with each order.  The blue cheese dressing was thick, flavorful and had a few chunks here and there.  The hot sauce was VERY nice (and this is coming from a HUGE wing snob, y'all!); it tasted vinegar-based with a touch of butter mixed in for texture.  I don't know if they serve it the same way for dine-in...but they were smart and didn't toss my wings in the sauce.  And they were smart enough to vent the container to avoid Soggy Steam Syndrome.  So the wings were still crispy when I got back to the office.  PLUS they gave a HUGE portion of sauce!  There was plenty left over to take home.

The choco milkshake with brownie bits tasted almost as good as Ben & Jerry's.  My only complaint about the shake was that its a smallish size for the price.

Side bar: I loved that everything except the sauce containers and milkshake cup were paper-based.  Yay for Earth-friendly packaging (follow up with paper- or corn-based cups and you're golden, BC)!

Also, big props to the grill guys for taking extreme care in all of the food they prepared.  I watched them pay close attention to every aspect of every order they made.

My only overall qualms were that:

    1) They're set up and advertised as fast food...but it took 15 minutes for me to get my order.  This caused me to go into overtime for my lunch break.  The guy who ordered after me actually received his order first.  Fortunately the cashier had the foresight to put my shake in the freezer until my entire order was ready.  But this took away from their "fresh milkshake" angle.

    2) They only had one guy on grill and one guy on the fryer at the peak of the weekday lunch rush.

I forgave these things after taking my first bite of food.  Just know that you're best calling your order in if you're in a time crunch.

When as is said and done, I'll go back if I'm in the area.

I've probably eaten 50-60 burgers in NYC. Never would I suspect that this would be one of my favorites. WIth the one caveat that I stick to the Parisian and the Hawaiian burger, these are two solid offerings. Both at 8 bucks, they could be a couple bucks cheaper. Try the 'creations' kids, don't get your daddy's cheeseburger and then complain that it's not that interesting.

Another burger joint, another veggie burger.

First off -- some of these reviews may be fakes, so please note (high marks, no friends, one review... hmmmmm...)!

They go for the straight up grilled portobello burger at this place and top it with other grilled veggies: zucchini, red pepper, and onion. They also throw on some fresh mozzarella and a sun dried tomato pesto. Not a bad combo, but the burger ends up kind of a soggy mess and the mushroom isn't marinated like many porto-burgers are.

The fries are really, really sad for a burger joint. I mean, really sad. Like from frozen potatoes. They really need to work on this. I have gone to brgr a couple of times even though I don't love the veggie burger there, because they have great sauces and good fries.

Anyway, they've just started out, and I work in the 'hood, so I might try them again later on. But they're off to a rocky start. The fake reviews don't help either. Makes me think they'd pick lying/duping consumers over improving their operation.

I wasn't too hungry when I came here with two friends, so I just wanted to try this place out. I heard good reviews about their turkey burgers, but I wasn't hungry enough to order a whole thing. I wanted the mini with turkey, but there was no such thing. So, I had to settle for the beef patty for a mini. An extra 75 cents for a mini slice of cheese? No thanks. I'll take it plain. I also got a mix of sweet potato fries and regular fries. My total came out to be a little more than 6 dollars. Too expensive.

They have a lot of varieties, but I don't know if the cost would match up to the greatness of these burgers. I would rather hit Shake Shack for cheaper. And I thought Shake Shack was expensive. Nope. I preferably would go to Shake Shack. The sweet potato fries lacked in potato and it was more filled with oil. The burger patty was really fresh. Cooked to very well. It tasted great. Don't get me wrong, the burgers are good, just too expensive. I wouldn't come back.
