Got totally sick on moldy ice tea once. Chicken strips are pretty good, chicks with attitude no good.

Stopped here when driving through, thinking this little town would have a nice burger joint. First turnoff, they don't accept major credit cards, or credit cards at all.

They have a swipe debit machine that allows you to pay in $10 increments and get cash back as your change; of course it charges a $0.75 atm fee also.

This place also will charge you full price for a cup of water or ice based on the signs they had posted.  I'm pretty sure this is illegal, but thats how they want to treat their customers.

I almost left after I ordered and realized they didn't take credit cards and I should have.  I gave their bacon cheesburger a chance and would have been much better of at McDonalds.  Fries were sparse and crappier than the burger.

I ended up paying about $7 for a burger worse than mcdonalds, a few fries, and a drink...and thats not including the atm fee and the fact I had to get change in cash (i.e. coins).

I will never eat there again.

Ahhhh.... Burger Basket.  How I loved thee growing up in the faraway land called Lake Los Angeles.  This is a town of 17,000+ in Los Angeles County and the nearest McD's was about 20 miles away.  There were (are?) NO other fast food places in town, so when Burger Basket was built (in bicycle-riding range) when I was in middle school, I was all over it.

I still go here when I visit my grandma.  I must admit, their "Burger Basket" is a good deal (natch).  Comes with fries and a drink, and it's cheap!  Just a couple of bucks!  They also have Mexican food (it's all right).  Their breakfast burritos saved many mornings for me - egg, ham, sausage, and hash browns!  Mmmmm

Be careful of the tight drive-thru!  During my learning years, I scraped a few family member's cars here!
