This mall could probably use an upgrade or a renovation, but you can probably find what you're looking for in the stores that are here.
I like to come to this mall because it's a lot less crowded than the Galleria. When I need to go shopping during my lunch hour, I go here because I know I don't have to fight the crowds to park or to run through the stores.
Parking is free! -
Review from Dean K.
They "claim" that the anchor stores here are Bed Bath & Beyond, Macy's and JC Penney, well this is false, don't believe them. The real anchor store of this mall is Orange Julius. How could it not be, it is by far the most delicious store there. Have you ever tried eating anything at gamestop? It's really not that good...
Anyway, there is a fair mix of stores here ranging from brand name stores that you are familiar with to more obscure local stores. Don't get me wrong, these places are pretty cool. Halo 13 in particular is pretty rad, tons of hard to find toys. There is also an asian / eastern inspired store on the bottom floor that has some great stuff for chinese new year.
Also, there is this dude who works at sunglass hut, I forget his name but he is really cool and helped me pick out a bitchin' pair of sunglasses.
Which reminds me, the other day I was in here and the up escalator was "not working", remembering and channeling my inner Mitch Hedburg I remembered that an escalator never really breaks, it just becomes stairs. So I started going up them and all of a sudden I am getting yelled at by a mall cop, so I booked it up the steps and another one was at the top. He said son can't you read. I said sir can't you use logic? He said, yeah it says it is broken. I said no it is not it is just stairs. Needless to say he was not happy but he let me go on my way.
I really only go here because it is close to my house, the glendale galleria is much better. -

This mall has horrible stores. Majority of the stores are boutique stores where you can buy trinkets like gold tigers to put up on a mantle or you can buy a stinky candle.
Seriously, Macy's is the only thing going for the mall. Why would you go to this mall when you can to go the Galleria and go to cool stores like Lucky Brand, Target, Apple, Bloomingdale's..
Shame on Burbank for this Jacked up mall. It was built in the 90's and not much thought and planning was put into the stores. -

This review is about the Cinnabon in the Burbank Mall.
WORST Cinnabon ever! The buns are cold, stale and under-frosted. The young kids who work there couldn't care less about customer service or quality. I went there yesterday at lunch time and the counter was unattended for at least 10 minutes, maybe longer but I left and got something elsewhere. I've been to this one several times because I like Cinnabons and more than half of the time, I leave disappointed. Needs new managment! -

Yes, the Burbank Town Center is an old mall. But the parking is still free, and there is plenty of it available. More and more malls are charging for parking, and I am glad to see that there is still one mall with free parking.
I spent some time here today. They have a good variety of stores. Burlington, Sears, Macys and Bed Bath and Beyond. Plenty of smaller stores on three levels. Movie theaters. There is even a nail salon. Plenty of places to eat.
I noticed that both the mall and the parking were kept really clean. Some one had spilled a coffee drink on the floor of the mall, and there were two security guards involved in making sure no one slipped on it before the cleaning people got there. -

The Burbank mall is a mediocre place. They have stores. They have food. They have a theater.
I never come to this mall but I tagged along while my friend did some Christmas shopping. The only thing I left with was a bag full of Mrs. Fields choco chip cookies! -

m.a.c. cosmetics at Macy's Burbank Town Center is the WORST of the WORST. Don't waste your time because the "employees" are terrible at their jobs and completely rude. It's not just a one time bad experience for me it has been every time!! I work a block away from the mall so I sometimes have to stop by this 7th level of hell they call m.a.c. for a quick purchase.
Don't shop here, you will regret it!
p.s. giving them 1 star is the only way I can express to people to AVOID M.A.C. AT MACY'S BURBANK!!!!!! -

This mall is awesome!
I've never seen so many (cheap) shoe stores in one mall before. I wouldn't even know which one to start at.
AND, Did you know that Wild Pair still exists?!!! If you grew up in the 80's and early 90's know what I'm talkin about.
AND, the clothing stores....cheap! As you can tell, I don't care about brand name stuff. This is especially true for trendy clothes. So, when I found XV, I was blown away!...Everything under $15. Some items were $1.99!!!
AND, so many things for kids to do. The play area is actually relatively clean, unlike the Sherman Oaks Fashion Square. We can spend an entire day here. Can't believe I've never been inside before and I've lived the Valley all my life. Retard!
AND, it's nice that the name "Westfield" isn't branded on this building...bonus! It actually reminds me of the Old School Sherman Oaks Galleria (before it sold out).Listed in: Baby/Kid Friendly

A solid mall, nothing out of the ordinary. 3 stories, but overall, a small mall. It has a theater, but why go there when there is an AMC right next to it. (or maybe they are connected not sure). However, they do have a Bed bath and beyond, they have a lot of shoe stores, and the mall is pretty clean. Overall, just an ordinary mall.

This place is ok but parking isnt the best. I used to go here in the 90s and we used to just waste time. Now days its just too small for me and I never find anything here.

It might not be Glendale with a whole list of different stores but hey i love this mall. it gets the job done for me. It's never that crowded and I ALWAYS find parking even for the holidays. They have an AMC theatre I really don't recommend it since it's soo small but if you walk down San Fernando street there is another AMC which is nicer but yes more crowded. You will also find a Ross, Starbucks, Yogurtland and a whole strip of small restaurants just walking distance.

It's cool.
It has a nice, small-town feel to it. There isn't anything spectacular about it, but it's a chill place. -
Review from Kislev A.
It's not bad.
Nice carousel. Has a movie theater, has some of the essential stores, athletic stores some work attire stores.
Maybe coz it doesn't have enough "party attire" stores it's not getting the youner crowd, which are the ones that usually give a mall the lively feel... -

Burbank, CA
This mall is small. I am used to shopping at malls like Fashion Island in Newport Beach, and South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa, so it is hard to make a fair comparison. Both of those malls have a great selection of high end stores, while this mall seems to be of a different caliber with stores like Sears and Burlington Coat Factory.
There are way too many kiosk venders that come up to you when you walk by, trying to get you to look at what they are selling. Employees from some of the smaller stores do the same.
There also seems to be a significant number of security personnel walking around the mall. That's a bit unsettling in itself. It seems as if they are expecting something to happen that would warrant so much security. -

NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA
It's a decent mall. I honestly just go to a few stores here in the area. Sport Chalet has tons of things to browse upon so you should hit that up. The random things you'll find at bed, bath & beyond shouldn't be missed. Can't skip the Urban Outfitters and Active just across the street. Plenty of food places to dine at and 3 movie theaters to walk to. You have a yogurtland and a pinkberry and starbucks.. A few bars just walking distance from the Town Center.
And if you so happen to be around the area on the day they film shows, movies, sitcoms.. etc. You can watch the magic happen.... Hey, they may even ask you to be an extra... -

Burbank, CA
Being small, the Burbank Town Center doesn't have a ton of stores to choose from. However, that's a plus, as it keeps this mall rather clean and vagrant-free.
The children's play space is very nice and I don't feel uncomfortable letting my child run barefoot (unlike the Glendale Galleria where I'm afraid he'll get some sort of parasite). Some malls are just more well-maintained than others, and BTC is one of them.
There are three levels to this mall and a Burlington Coat Factory just moved in within the last year. The Macy's is alright, but not well stocked. It's is also very close to IKEA and the rest of Downtown Burbank.
Beware, on weekends this place becomes madhouse. -

I've been to better malls than this. The food court isn't that great. However it does have a gamestop with knowledgeable employees as well as a sports chalet.

This mall is pretty blah. No big surprise. The stretch of San Fernando Blvd. leading up to it way outshines the mall itself.
What takes it from "meh" to "ugh" is the clientele. The people around here are just a pain to be around - pushy, rude, obnoxious and completely oblivious to those around them. Makes me glad I'm not a valley-dweller. -

Burbank, CA
This is a horrible mall. I'd rather hang out at the Ross across the street and that place is the worst Ross I have ever been to.
Burbank is a bland city. So, imagine the mall version.
Like the city it belongs to, the mall also has 2-3 martial arts dojos whereas the city has about +20. In Burbank, you can get a parking ticket from bored police officers. In the mall, you can get asked to leave by the overweight security. The parallels between the city and this mall will astound you.
The only cool thing about this mall is the hobbies/collectible store. Oh wait, I can also go to Burbank and find a hobby store on every other street.
So, what is the coolest thing about this mall? It has central air. -
Review from Sam N.
Its a sub par mall, decent stores like Macys and IKEA , but nothing designer or fancy, Its basically a mall for basic needs located conveniently near all the studios so if you need something you can find it here.
However, if you are looking for nice clothes, designers and fancy department stores go to the Topanga plaza or Fashion Square in Sherman Oaks instead -

San Francisco, CA
I must be getting old.
I say this because I remember a different Burbank. A Burbank filled with elderly Republicans and not much else. A Burbank with mom and pop shops and Johnny Carson. A Burbank with a Toys 'R' Us and a Burbank that had never heard of places like Costco or Ikea. Yep, I have totally turned into my Dad and his 5 cents for a loaf of bread you could buy back in the day stories.
However, I have embraced this fact and am happy for the Burbankians that their city has started to receive a much needed facelift and added some pretty hip new things to the fold. Take San Fernando Road. I remember when that was just that dusty street by the train tracks and now you say San Fernando and it's a happenin little strip with cool stores and....people? And not just elderly Republicans, but people of all shapes, sizes and styles and it's awesome.
At the end of this hip strip is the Burbank Town Center and with the exception of the name sounding like an old foagie came up with it, it's actually a pretty decent mall with a ton of new shops and even a great mani/pedi place. There's a Forever 21, there's an Express and there's a really scary Prom Dress/Bridesmaid from Hell dress store that I still haven't had the balls to go into for fear of mental scarring, but still, there are really neat stores here!
There's also a Hot Dog On A Stick, which as far as I'm concerned is the culinary stamp for any food court and they have me at Cherry Lemonade. There's also a movie theater here (although, go to the bigger one down the street, it's muuuuch better) and they even have an Old Navy now.
They do lose a point for allowing a PF Chang's into the mix, but they make up for it in ample parking, never being too crowded and adding new cool stores daily. So good job BTC and I'll C YA SOON! -

OKAY...
Not the best verities of stores, but the recent store I went to called, "Elite" which they recently opened; had a great verity of Rock Revival clothing line and Cello Jeans shirts... and much more!
I compared prices with MetroPark and they are were $40-50 dollars less expensive here with the same clothes.
I highly recommend this mall for couple of its stores and foods, but kind of a boring mall... wish it was somewhat like the Glendale Galleria.
Oh' yeah... for any chance you want to call the "ELITE" store which I bought my pants and shirts from... the number is: (818) 848-8911, they've been open these 3 days... so check it out. I highly recommend coming here for a look see before heading off to expensive stores.
From now on... I'll check in this store only and eat the mongolian food from the food court and get going to Glendale Galleria.

Sad that a mall right near the major studios can be so boring and pathetic. Talk about needing to get "work done."
There are plenty of better malls around town, so spare yourself a drive to this one.
On the other hand, the unique boutiques right along San Fernando Blvd. are great...and IKEA is right around the corner. -

Kansas City, MO
I prefer the Empire Center down the street to this place, mostly because I am not into the Teen Scene that most indoor malls attract. But, this mall does have alot to offer, from Macy's, Sport Chalet, a movie theater, Old Navy, Victoria's Secret, Bath and Body Works, PF Chang's, etc. It's not washed up by any means like most indoor malls in the Valley tend to be, so you won't leave with your head hanging down :(
Parking is often confusing since it's offered either across the street or between IKEA and the mall near Sports Chalet. However, be warned that if you park on one side of the mall and walk through to continue shopping on the other side, you might be locked out and will have to walk all around the mall to get back to your car! -

They have a couple of unique stores, but other than that it's average.
I went most recently on a Sat. and heard so many screaming/crying kids that it was unbelievable. Very, very irritating. -

I remember when this place used to be called the Media City Center! LOL... Well, it is a small mall and has always been that way. The stores have changed over the years, but there is nothing too fancy. The stores are small and don't offer too much of a variety. I only like it because it's close to home and the parking is not too bad. However, if I am really in the mood to shop...I head a couple miles down and go to the Glendale Galleria.

This is my local mall. I grew up coming here. I went to school at Burbank High school so this was my usual hangout spot. I used to even work in the suncoast here. Before it shut down. That's the main draw back of this mall. Its small and alot of the stores have gone under. It has the AMC 8 inside but your better off going outside for a movie and going to the Glendale galleria for a mall.

North Hollywood, CA
It is very rare to meet a guy who SUGGESTS and WANTS to take those photobooth pics that for some reason, us gals love so much. Something about solidifying friendships/relationships with a strip of photos is very appealing to us. So when my boy said, "Hey, you know what I want to do? Take photobooth pics!"; I instantly knew we must seek out a mall ASAP before he changes his mind.
Not only did we find our photobooth at Burbank Town Center (in fact, they have more than one) but I also found a mall I like. I'm not generally a huge mall-goer, due to the fact that my last music industry job involved working with mall marketing managers so I am "mall-ed" out; but I actually really like this one. With a neighborhood feel but slightly more upscale than let's say Fashion Square in Sherman Oaks; Burbank Town Center offers cute interior aesthetics and a range of offerings from upscale formal gown boutiques to your typical Hallmark store. From my observation, it seems that this mall is generally targeting a female 18-24 clothing range (Vans shoes store, Forever 21, Claire's Icing, etc). On the contrary though, the mall isn't crazy busy/full with annoying teenagers. In fact, it is rather tolerable. Even your man won't be annoyed! Plus with free garage parking that never seems to be full... he won't have to drop you off and search for parking.
My only qualm about Burbank Town Center is the foodcourt.. not many options, oddly shaped, and it seems to employ the lowest IQ-ed individuals in the city. I'm not even going to get into the situation I encountered with the McDonald's employee when I was merely trying to redeem a "Free McFlurry" coupon. This is why I don't eat at food courts or McDonald's.
Plus: Cinnabon is about to open soon! YAY!
Overall, a pleasant mall experience if trying to avoid crowds or rabblerouser teens.Listed in: Meet me at the Mall!

Review from Iska B.
Does IKEA count as part of the mall? If it does then that is the only reason worth coming here and I give it 4 stars (it would be 5 but the crowds at IKEA just piss me off too much). If IKEA doesn't count then this is a mediocre mall at best and absolutely not worth coming to at all, even if you live in the area. I mean it has a Macy's, Sears, and some decent stores but it's mostly full of places you don't really want to shop at all that badly.
The choices are very limited and I think I only hit up like three stores total and didn't really find anything I liked. Also a note: On Friday night it's full of tweens and teens cruising around. Not exactly my idea of fun. This is pretty much the last time I'll ever go inside this mall. Best to stay on the OUTSIDE where there is IKEA, lots of food options, and an AMC movie theater. -
Review from Joan D.
The mall is BIG. 3 floors, huge spaces. Then again, just another regular mall. With few new stores. Like if you're looking for auhtentic Japanese make-up outlet store, they do have one. But other than that, you can find the same stores in your local area.
The food places and some stores are located outside the mall, it's like a little town of food/shopping stalls, and it'll burn you some calories walking around the area. Who says shopping isn't exercise? :)
Downside: you keep on walking around looking for the resto or shop that you want and end up where you started. So be sure to check the map first to avoid walking around in circles and tire yourself out.
If you're looking for a different location and if you're tired of being "in" a box-type mall, and want to shop in an open space, try this one. It's ok. -
Review from Isaiah N.
San Luis Obispo, CA
This is just another typical all-American mall complete with a few department stores, a mix of chain and local shops, and a food court. And this one has an AMC theater! Oh yeah, the mall is located right next to the cluster traffic jam known as IKEA furniture. Don't forget the screaming, whiny kids that can be heard throughout the mall.
Nothing really special about this place, but it is a decent alternative when every other shopping center in L.A. is really crowded and you need to make some quick purchases. Just try to find a way around IKEA in doing so... -
