Hotels were more expensive in the area than my wife and I had hoped for, so we found this great bed and breakfast instead! We had a great deal on the room, too (under $100), because a) it was a weekday and b) we beat the seasonal tourists by a couple weeks.
Brian was a great inn-keeper. He sat us down and told us of all the great places to check out. Next time we visit Newport, we're going right back to the Burbank Rose. -

What a gem!
The innkeeper, Brian, could *not* be nicer. He's one of those people you meet and right-off-the-bat know he's a kindly sort of soul. He will sit you down, hand you a map, and proceed to tell you all the best places to visit in town and the names of the people you should ask for to take care of you.
If that weren't enough, the B&B is ideally located right off of Newport's main drag, so there is absolutely no need to fuss with a car. Breakfast was a simple continental, but there was plenty of fresh fruit and pastries.
Major props to Brian for driving us to the venue of the wedding we were meant to attend when our taxi didn't show up... I mean, like I said, *nice.* Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again! -

We love this little inn :) Very homely, and romantic essence to it.
The inn is located downtown, can't miss it. There are beautiful potted flowers at the front door. Brian the inn keeper is sooo nice, and gives very good suggestions for local tastes. Newport is very nice to visit during the fall.
