It's a big NO DUH that airport bars are a pretty spectacular atmosphere and an almost ideal situation when you want a drink. But no airport bar compares to the Burbank Airport, sorry, the Bob Hope Airport bar -one - because its in the Bur...Bob Hope Airport, the best airport in the world - two - because their prices are much cheaper than the Portland, Salt Lake, Phoenix and San Jose airports, and -three- whoever is in charge of the music plays a bunch of my favorites. What else can I ask for?

Say it with me, people....
Bloooooooooooooooodyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy Maaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrryyyyyyyyy.
I tell ya, I fly out of the Burbank Airport a lot, and they do serve a pretty kick ass Bloody Mary at this bar. It's $7.25 and they can make it in varying degrees of ass kickery. Mild, Medium or Light Your Mouth On Fire. I chose the latter, cuz hey, I like my liquids just as spicy as my...um, yeah I don't know..
It's also such a great place to people watch. SO far I have been hit on by a dude from Jersey in a heavy metal looking shirt with skulls on it (here that mom, I met the ONE!!!), an insurance man who tried to sell his way into a free shot of Jack if he bought a beer (no go compadre), a dude in an argyle sweater (just what I needed to see) and of course the man who looks kinda like Geraldo Rivera with the mustache and everything.
Yay, I love Burbank! -

I am drinking here right now which means they have wi-fi which is rather exciting! $4 for 2 hours
I got a huge gigantic glass of wine here. granted, it was like $9, but still, i am feeling it before i get on my plane.
they need air conditioning and nuts on the bar, but otherwise fine if you are waiting for your plane. -

Great drinks great food. Most important is Hope is the bartender at the Bob Hope Airport bar, she's great. Very convenient, just inside the door at terminal A.

Prices are higher than in-flight beers. Save your money and have one in the air.

Pretty good prices for an airport bar.

$7 crown on the rocks, neat, or with coke. That's cheaper than any bar in the area. The bartender was friendly too, and there are several beers on tap. Great place to kill time before a flight.

Good place to hang out when you are waiting to board your flight at the Burbank airport. Last week my friends and I flew out to Oakland. We came to the airport early and was looking for a place to relax before we were able to board our flight. We found the Burbank bar in the airport. We stopped by, my friend checked his emails on his laptop, and we all grabbed a drink. The prices for the drinks were ok. Not the greatest but I guess that's what you expect when you're trapped inside the airport and waiting to get on your flight. The bartender was so so but I guess it might have been a little early for her. She didn't have the best attitude in the world but it didn't matter to us since we were not at the bar area but at a table so we just ordered drinks from her. No biggie, it didn't mess up our weekend getaway. Peace out Yelpers!
