I had a" Ratatouille" moment. If you have seen the movie Ratatouille when the when food critic comes to the restaurant to evaluate the food. I ate the Italian sausage. OMG! Brought back memories from my childhood in Chicago, eating Italian sausage. Very Good!! I had the homemade lasagna. Superb!! Also the meatball that came with the meal, it was awesome as well. Met the owners and they are salt of the earth folks! It would be foolish to pass this place up if your close!!

I rename this Cattivo Appetito. The Asparagus was overcooked and stringy, the ravioli was sitting in a 1/8inch of greasy oil, the walnut crema was beyond bland and cold and the service was impatient, uncommunicative and acted bored.
If you want mediocre Italian go to Olive Garden, if you want good Italian go to Papa Franks or Amazing try Trattoria Delia. Avoid Buono.
Advice to the owners, contact Robert Irvine's Restaurant Impossible. You have a good location, good food concepts, but poor leadership, poor recipe's and confusing, old and tacky decor. Good luck.

Delicious food, quaint atmosphere, and absolutely great service.
My fiance forgot her purse at our table and we didn't realize it until almost an hour later. By the time we called, one of the staff had already secured it and they brought it back to our hotel for us. Service doesn't get any better than that! -

I grew up eating Buono Appetito. I live in NYC now so my taste for pizza and italian in general has expanded, but when I go back to Vermont it is nice to know that there is a solid italian/pizza place where I can get good food that is a lot cheaper than NYC.
The pizza is great, as are the pasta dishes. If you are in Shelburne, or driving north to Burlington on Shelburne RD (Route 7), stop by Buonos and you'll smell what I'm cooking with this review. Get take out, eat in, or sit at their bar in the back and drink some Vermont microbrews and what have you. -

After driving by the place for years, my boyfriend took me here last week. I grew up in NY eating amazing Italian food on Arthur Ave in the Bronx so I'm not easy to please. But I loved this place. The bolognese was phenomenal and my boyfriend loves his mushroom dish. I can't wait to go back!
