This place is hot. I hung here with a friend on a sunday night and it was still packed with patrons. Great decor. It looks like it's been around forever but it's a new addition to the neighborhood. You must try their specialty drinks that are made with homemade infused vodkas. I had the sucker punch with spicy cinnamon vodka and my friend had a ginger infused drink. Tasty and for 10 dollars why bother going to Manhattan. Today during the street festival they had a preview of their bbq sandwiches which were melt in the mouth beef or pork in a unique pretzel bun. I will definitely have to eat here when they start serving food.
I heart building on bond.

Careful that you don't walk right past. You'd be forgiven for thinking that it's a ground floor studio of some hip design-build company (which it may also be) instead of a great new restaurant cafe.
This places deserves all four stars and then some for the following attributes:
- great food: I had a turkey club which was delicious, it was actual roasted turkey breast not slices deli meat, very succulent, some kind of interesting bread which had (I think) cranberries embedded in it and really delicious bacon; my friend, a long-time vegeterian, pronounced her veggie burger to be the best she's ever had; after we finished our wonderful meal we both perked up when a nearby customer got his steaming plate of mac and cheese which smelled incredible.
- ambience: it's a restaurant with the laid-back, cozy feel of a cafe; it's a functioning cafe with free wifi that also serves real and really good food; at 2 pm it seemed okay to hang out here with your laptop as long as you like; staff is really nice and do their jobs well and the whole place just feels very laid back, welcoming.
- decor: the look is definitely carpenter atelier chic, lots of wood, paper shades, work stools, wood benches, etc. Everything is kind of mismatched and scattered without seeming messy or confusing; they make full use of the corner location, the big windows pulling in lots of light with the trees on Pacific adding some nice greenery.
I can't wait to go back to try some of the other menu items.

Dear Pretzel Bread Maker,
I am sure glad you know what you're doing because I couldn't get enough of your yummy delicious bread! And to pair it up with BBQ Pork and Apple Slaw, excuse me while I wipe away the drool from my mouth. The side pickle was quite tasty as well and the chips, which I am assuming were homemade, were a bit sparse. I am guessing that your hand is small and couldn't grab more than the 7 that were sitting on the plate, but that's neither here nor there.
As for the lemonade, maybe you should cut back on all that squeezing. It was too tart for my tongue. Thank you for not kicking me out while I was using the wi-fi for 1.5 hrs! :)
Lovingly,
Dreamsrey
I've only been in briefly for a cup or beer and recently brunch, but each time seating was ample, food arrived quickly and the staff was attentive.
Basic brunch dishes are prepared simply and lightly, with fresh ingredients and no unecessary frippery.
A nice moment was when I was in desperate need of a wifi signal late on a sunday night and a staff member as well as a patron assisted me in getting what I needed, saving me a long trek to who knows where...
It's ok I didnt care too much for the coffee but the atmosphere is nice

Went on a couple date here this week and I must say it is delightful!
1. Great Beer and Wine list... many beers on tap, nice variety of wine
2. Decor/Design... wow. Design was done by hecho inc. and it is beyond beautiful. Even the bathroom was underwhelming, but in the most perfect way. (underwhelming has a good connotation in my review ha!) This is an organizers heaven with all the drawers and filing cabinets as decoration. Seriously go to see the design
3. Food... Really delicious sandwiches. Sage-Roasted Turkey one is delicious(cranberry pecan bread with apricot chutney and other yumminess in it). Crispy Fries, Fresh Salads
4. Service... Got very busy and they were understaffed BIG TIME. Still delightful though...
Great date spot, meeting spot, drinks with friends... anything really!
Very laid back and prices are pretty reasonable!

I've wanted to like this place from the beginning. I love the space, the service is super friendly and it just has a nice vibe. Plus it's like 2 blocks from my house. What is not to love?
The food was kind of a barrier for a little while. While the food and I have to grown to respect each other, this isn't the kind of place I'll ever be dying to go to or take friends to.That said, there's a major exception: the most delicious sandwich of all time: the bbq pork on pretzel roll.
It's the kind of sandwich dreams are made of. If that doesn't sound very good, expect a cool space and vibe with so-so food. If that does sound good, you're in luck. This is the kind of sandwich you'd kill for.
great by day. sunny, bright, even keeled. i really like the people who work here. their brunch looks mighty tasty; all plates were cleaned. word on the street is that it transitions seamlessly into night.
update: i just upgraded to five stars because i am full on falling in love with this place. i love that they let me stay for hours. i like watching the clientele. i love that they call me sweetie. and i think their coffee is mighty tasty. i would move in if i could.
Good coffee, if you don't mind taking out a second mortgage. They can suck it as far as I'm concerned. There's a ton of places to get coffee that is just as good for a lot less money.
After a fantastic dinner at No. 7, the boyfriend and I walked over to Boerum Hill to check out Building on Bond. This corner stop bar/coffeehouse/neighborhood hangout is really cute and, because it is open late, perfect for some post dinner wind-down time. On a Saturday evening at around 10PM, this place was not crowded and I loved the relaxed atmosphere that made me feel as if I was lounging at a friend's hip refurnished basement. I cannot say enough about the decor, from the large open windows that pierce it from all sides, to the salvaged metal file cabinets filled with random business cards and messages from patrons inside. The large, wooden slabs for tables are perfect for laptop work and I think they offer free wifi. I will admit that I was not too impressed by the service... but for the great atmosphere, fantastic hours, and kitschy decor, Building on Bond gets four solid stars.
I will add that their hot chocolate was AMAZING. None of that watery, tongue-scalding bullshit: this was made with milk and was wonderfully frothy and warm (Yes, I had hot cocoa with my beer. Don't judge me, I was craving it all day and it was definitely worth it). Thanks to Jonathan W. for introducing me to this place!

Ok, it's time for an updated review! First of all, congratulations to Building on Bond for winning NYMag's award for Best Neighborhood Hangout (http://nymag.com/besto...).
"Neighborhood hangout" pretty much sums up BoB. It's open from 7am - 1am and serves every need imaginable -- early morning pastries/coffee, lunch, a place to work during the day, dinner, and drinks into the early morning.
As a restaurant, BBb deserves a *** rating -- food is delicious, but the a la cart serving style leaves me wanting more. I'd like to think that a $9 lunch sandwich comes with fries or soup or SOMETHING else. As others have said, the service is inconsistent. Sometimes the service is great, but most of the time it's slow and disorganized and unprofessional. If i have a friend visiting from out of town, I won't take them to BoB for dinner..there are more special dinner places in the neighborhood with better service.
As a coffee shop or a place to work during the day, I give BoB **** I love the atmosphere and the excellent music selection and the other friendly people hanging out there. It's a great place to work. I can't speak to the quality of their coffee, but their tea is ok -- it's a standard boring brand though and I wish they'd get some exciting looseleaf teas. Compared to the other local places to work during the day, BoB takes the crown. (Flying saucer is always too warm, Nascent is always too empty and weird, and Blue Marble has too many distracting kids)
As a bar, BoB gets ***** -- great bartenders, friendly patrons. Very welcoming. The specialty cocktails are delicious and the beer selection is solid.
As a place to hang out with friends (or to make new friends), BoB gets *****
Went to bingo night recently -- really really fun. And they've started doing other themed nights: comedy shows etc. What an awesome place.

I have been hearing about Building on Bond from some friends who live nearby but it was not until today this quietish, sunny Sunday of memorial day that I actually got to go there-for brunch. I had the bond sandwich without bacon. My friend had the granola/yogurt. Coffee was consumed-it is such a neat little place. It kind of feels like the physical realization of when I saw Charlie Rose interview Bjork where she said her head was full of drawers and she had different ideas in the drawers. Well there are actual drawers, as well as shelves, windows and knobs.
Staff very nice-will most definitely be back.
I often go to Building On Bond for their amazing Veggie Burger. It is technically vegan but I get it with Gruyere and it's very good. The sun-dried tomato spread that comes with it is a great compliment to the rich veggie/warm grain taste. It is a lil expensive if you wanna add the side of seasoned fries, but worth it, as they still have their skin on( therefore, in my head, retain some semblance of healthiness), are piping hot, homemade and good.
The staff is chill, very helpful and lets you breathe.
Come here to relax or work. Daytime on a weekday is often swamped with coffee drinkers with laptops (they are wonderfully accommodating at B-O-B and have many plugs) It can get crowded at meal time, too much so to work, but by then it is time to have some beer or one of their interesting and different cocktails (with their infused liquors) and just chill. Everything will be alright!
This place is great. It's the type of neighborhood bar I expected all over the place when I moved to Brooklyn. Good food, atmosphere, and everyone seems to know each other. I only wish I ended up living closer so this could be my neighborhood bar, but the cuban sandwich alone is worth the bike ride into Boerum Hill.

I'm a very big fan of the Building on Bond! Who doesn't love a local coffee shop?! The coffee is pretty tasty and the atmosphere is great. I wouldn't call it a very big "let's go chat and have coffee" type of place. Everyone is pretty quiet and sticks to their work and their coffee. Plus, the music is perfect and isn't distracting! Friendly staff too!
Also, stopped by for dinner recently and it was pretty good. Pistachio chicken was yummy and the portion size was perfect. When I finished it, I didn't feel like I gorged myself!
Can't wait to try the brunch when it comes!

Good coffee and snacks, awesome decor.
I stopped in for a coffee and a danish. Both were good, but pretty ordinary.
The decor, I loved. I'm a sucker for unfinished wood and exposed pipes. They nail that DIY, recycled material look.
$2.50 for a tiny glass of soda filled with ice.
Are you kidding me? In this economy?
I thought that was ballsy and not in a good way.
The $9 turkey sandwich was good. The pickle was flavorless.
This place is good for drinking coffee while surfing the Internet.
Bring a fully charged laptop as there are few outlets.
So...
I had the pleasure of attending a two day Brooklyn birthday extravaganza and fortunately for all of us, this included brunch at BOB.
It was 11 am and I faced the classic brunch dilemma -- lunch or breakfast, sweet or savory. The menu -- loaded with tempting items -- only increases my confusion. Finally, I made up my mind -- an eggs benedict concoction that replaces the Canadian bacon with BBQ pulled pork. Three words for you, folks: Yum yum yum. The potatoes were fluffy and the Hollandaise and BBQ flavors were a surprisingly satisfying combo. Thank you, BOB, for introducing me to a new flavor world!
I had a bite of my friend's banana chocolate pancakes. If your sweet side wins out, this should be your order. Some restaurants deceptively just pass off this menu item as a few regular pancakes sprinkled with banana and chocolate. No! That is not a banana choco pancacke! But BOB does this classy. They mix the choco and banana in the batter, so you get perfect circles of banana choco wonder.
The coffee is good, the decor is funky fresh and the service is A plus. Prices were not unreasonably high either. I can't imagine a better brunch choice!

Awesome decor! This place is fantastic for just sitting and reading or using the internet on their free wi-fi till 4:30pm. The music is great, but and it's not too loud so it's not a distraction.
They have a wide selection of newspapers by the cash register for customers to take to their seats and enjoy, as well as free candy canes (though I have a feeling those will disappear after Christmas). Their hot chocolate is ok -- a little too much milk for the amount of chocolate, but you can get it with 2% if you don't want whole. (I didn't ask about skim.)
Their combination of offerings is refreshing -- with cafe items (both drinks and baked goods) as well as alcoholic beverages during the day, and now dinner at night. I haven't had the food yet, but I'll be back the next time I'm in the area. And, they are gracious enough to let outside food and beverages in...but I fear that won't last much longer either.
The only negative about this place is that I saw a little bit too much below the waist line when the server turned around to make my drink. And he didn't even have to bend down.
But I still give it 4 stars, so check it out!

Can I put 3.75 stars up?
Building on Bond just started serving Brunch and I was there to experience the growing pains. By the second time serving it, they've almost ironed out the kinks.
First, I can't say ENOUGH about the decor. I absolutely love the design and architecture - the recycled materials are utilized so beautifully and functionally. The stacked drawers mounting the mirror in the bathroom are a site.
Secondly, the service was solid. The server kept the coffee flowin' and the water topped off. She even stopped to chat with us for a bit in a room full of patrons. I appreciate that.
I really enjoyed my cranberry and walnut french toast (satisfied my sweet tooth that morning - the walnuts seems glazed in sugar) but my companion was very disappointed with the portion size of the poached eggs on toast with hash browns. It was rather pathetic, like a kiddy meal. We had such high hopes drooling over other plates at other tables - the sandwiches for example. The bread looked like a hot vendor pretzel! Mmm... Yet, he was left deflated. The bloody marys were redeeming but the coffee was a bit too bitter Starbucks for me (that's just my opinion) but nothing milk couldn't drown out though.
Great prices, great atmosphere, great tasting food, great music. I'd definitely go again.
Beware though, brunch may be taken over by the stroller derby association. There was a screaming kid and a few other silent ones when I ate and I'm not a fan of having my ears bleed while eating eggs.
This place is great. Simple food done very well, and a charming and helpful wait staff. The more you look around the room, the more funny little details you see. Do yourself a favor and drop by, and try the BOB burger. It has chorizo in it. Not spicy, but just enough for flavor.

Amy, I had EXACTLY the same experience trying to finally eat here, after coming here for coffee and drinks since they appeared.
That turned out to be okay though. Ended up eating here for the first time with my family and a bunch of my New York orphan/retail/Jewish friends on XMas Eve. No one else was there, so we could sing along to the 90s rock (both Lit and Everclear, holy balls) and later sing our own carols.
Such nice staff, such a great vibe. The Molasses wings are great, shocking the other wings aren't nearly as good. All the salads are yummy. The burger is good. Not great, but good. I'll get something different next time. The Mac and Cheese? Ehhhhh. Dumont this is not. Still, perfectly nice, fresh food, good beer, and a great atmosphere, especially on Christmas Eve....
One weird gripe, though: they turn the lights WAY down at 5 now and shoo laptops users out, so if you wanna work or study here go early, it becomes (at least for now) a full-fledge restaurant in the evening.
My friend insists that when she lived in this neighborhood five years ago she would walk past this storefront, then a homely bodega, dream it were a bar, a restaurant, or a coffee shop. A lawyer then and a journalist now, she believes she has the knack for spotting great spaces and makes wild claims that she has predicted most of Brooklyn's recent hot spots.
it seems she will be right with Building on Bond. A corner storefront with large windows and a Modern feel quietly waits with one of its double doors open funneling customers to a service counter that extends into a bar with three or four stools. After that convention, the space folds and unfolds into an origami piece of tables, nooks, corners frames, stairs, levels and other seating that seem simultaneously cozy and clean, private and public.
The coffee is good. A double espresso is pulled with attentiveness by friendly staff wearing Original Penguin shirts (not a uniform, just a coincidental conceit that is so appropriate to cafe culture...) I did not partake in any pastries, but they seemed very average.
In short, this is a beautiful space that can only be ruined if management/ownership eschews common sense and becomes uppity. Having invested so much in the design of the space, it is unlikely that they would divest themselves of business sense.

I think this is a GREAT coffee shop/bar, but a bit overpriced to my taste. However! I could totally stomach that and pay an extra buck or two for a coffee and bluberry muff, but my real problem is that it's DOG slow in the morning. I sometimes go in for a coffee on my way to work and 75% of the time, I just leave after five minutes without being served. They really should get a second staff person in the mornings.
So convenient. Fantastic design. Pork sandwich on pretzel bread is excellent, but otherwise food isn't much of a draw. The service is reliably frustrating--the wait staff tends to be good natured, but either they're overly familiar, practically pulling up a stool, or so spacey as to forget basics, like the silverware or the drinks. They do always remember to upsell, though. That said, the place has a nice feel and is incredibly well located and I just keep my expectations in check about getting a fork the first time I ask for it.

was excited to find a new brunch spot on my return to brooklyn. such a funky spot. it is nice to have a place like this in the neighborhood that expands beyond smith st.
the style is like workshop, meets neighborhood hangout, meets middle school science class.
great soundtrack. good service. and while i thought the decor was going to be the best part, food was surprisingly good too.
For all those who have gone at night, check out the brunch. I am going to go ahead and claim that BoB might be a new favorite.
I love this place. I LOVE the wood interior, the re-purposed mid-1900s office materials. Reminds me of the actual old-school office my parents had in their 100-year-old independent pharmacy in Maine.
The coffee is superb--Grounds for Change makes a wicked espresso. Haven't tried any of their other grinds. I am also quite partial to their flaky whole wheat croissants (though I'm sure they order those in from some bakery).
It's always warm and toasty in there and they play an extremely eclectic mix of music and not at too high a volume, either. Free WiFi and lots of free reading material makes it just about the perfect coffee shop. Tons of warm little nooks to tuck yourself and your laptop away in...
YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The staff are amazing! The coffee is strong, the pastries in the morning are yum, the din din is kick tush! I freaking LOVE this place! It's so cute and so kick back! This place is unique, special, top notch and like totally OMG!

This place is beautiful! Lots of wood, butcher block, and clever details on the bar and tables. In the day time it's a coffee shop, at night it's a restaurant and a bar. The people are super nice, and it's clean and a terrific addition to the neighborhood. The chalkboard sign outside says that Wi-Fi is turned off at 4:30pm.
I have to tell you that the coffee and espresso drinks are awful! Just really really bad. And the pastries cost an arm and a leg, even if they are from Balthazar. The place is getting really popular and there are tons of laptops during the day, so it's a bit harder to get a seat. Despite this, I still love the place.
They have now started up food service, but I haven't tried it yet! I heard it was pretty good, thogh.
The concept is great, but Building on Bond's execution could have been a bit better. The staff fumbled their way through seating my party, leaving us awkwardly standing in the middle of the restaurant without any direction. While I enjoyed the meal, it was a botched one -- not just for me, but for the three other folks I was with. Coffee was adequate at best. Ditto for the fries. I'll give it another go, perhaps everyone was having a bad day.

Yeah, the coffee here is pretty bad, as another reviewer pointed out. And it's also the most expensive in the neighborhood. And although they brag about the overlap of coffee and cocktail service in the late afternoon/early evening, the employees after 4pm aren't capable of doing any "barista stuff." Only pouring you a cup of burnt drip coffee.
Also, I have to say: I know the neighborhood is getting fancy, but their beer and booze costs more than at the other bars in the neighborhood -- AND they're sanctimonious about it, like they're offing you a bargain. "These are cheap. Do you know what prices are in Manhattan?" They say. Well, yeah. I do. But I don't live there. I live here. And have for a while. And I don't like rude service -- It's not very Brooklyn.
I get that they're trying to break even and they probably spent a fortune on the place, but if I were the manager I might go for attracting more happy people with reasonable prices rather than ripping off a few oblivious people who don't care what they pay as long as they're decent music playing (and there is. generally).
Pros: the decor is cool, and very clever. It's got character (even if the staff doesn't). And for the time being it's a nice place to sit and use the internet and watch the world go by. When they start serving food, it might ruin this laid-back vibe. Or if the food ends up being really good and more reasonable than their beverages, I'll come back and say so....
Went here for brunch on Sunday, and wish I could give it 3.5 stars. The decor/layout is funky and awesome, the food was delicious. But the service sucked. It took far too long for our order to be taken, and then we needed to ask for everything (spoons? Water?). This seemed to be a systemic issue though, and not the fault of our very nice waitress. I'd try it again another time if the service improved though.
I had the worst cup of dishwater coffee last weekend. Not only was it burnt, there were grinds at the bottom of my cup, and it cost me 2.50 or so.
I wish them well but they need to post a menu so I know how much things cost, and they need to improve their coffee.

Yes, I remember the bodega that was here,.. oh so many years ago.
Gentrification,.. whatcha gonna do?
My first visit was 3 weeks ago. The place looked inviting and warm. I asked if they were serving brunch - a positive answer and a sunny window seat,.. I thought I was on my way to a much needed relaxing day,.. I was also famished.
I waited about 5 minutes for a menu,.. after another 5 minutes - I asked the barista/bartender if I could order. He called the server. It took a few more minutes. After finally ordering, I waited 25 minutes before I spoke again. *I'd normally leave, but I Really wanted to give this place a chance* The barista spoke to the server,.. who came to me after a few,.. and apologized. She forgot to place my order!
Aargh! I promised myself not to lose my temper,.. Anyhow, when I finally got the order,... it was pretty good. I had the Ploughmans cheeseplate. A bit skimpy (sliced olives, 2 slices of pate, 6 sm.slices of cheese, 2 slices of bread, Branstons pickles, 2 slices of apple) but nevertheless - good!
Good enough to return.
I just make sure Ezra, the barista/bartender is there.
Thank you for making my return visits ~ positive experiences Ezra! 8)
I went to Building on Bond for this first time this morning for a quick meeting and I think I've found a new coffee shop. The atmosphere is super laid back, and on a Wednesday morning the place was pleasantly busy with patrons doing work on their laptops, holding mid-morning meetings or just kicking back with a book, a snack and some tea. The coffee is tasty and will appeal to most palates (not too weak, not too strong) and sets you pleasantly buzzing without setting you into a caffeine-induced anxiety attack (coughstarbuckscough). Although I didn't sample the breakfast pastries, they looked VERY tasty ... nice and fresh (note to self: must go back soon for pain au chocolate). The lunch and cocktail menus also looked interesting, but again it was too early for sampling those items. However I was so pleased with the friendly staff, lovely setting and delicious coffee that I wil definitely go back to broaden my Building on Bond palate.

Watch this space. I took in Building on the evening of its first day. It'll operate from 7 AM as a coffee shop and a bar with separate dining room in the evenings. There is a definite seriousness to the trappings here: bold unfinished woodwork, nice touches throughout, gorgeous plate glass windows. It really sets a certain mood and is going to thrive in this hood, which has been biting its nails in anticipation for many months now. I had a cold Sierra and tried some Tuscan red, but pressing pause on the libations until they get their barsettled. As it stands, my neighbours and I are pretty, well, juiced, and the feeling was evident by the parade of well-wishers cycling through the joint that night. Lots of promise here. Given the provenance of the partners--this is the first place of their own, but they designed many Manhattan restaurants, like Schiller's--I'm expecting something of a cross between Applewood and Black Mountain Wine House. Dining commences Labour Day weekend.

Bad service from a rude waitress made our Sunday brunch a crappy experience. The waitress in the back room around 11:30 this past Sunday clearly did not want to be at work. She was cold and not interested in serving us. We asked to have greens instead of home fries with our omelettes and she paused, gave us an annoyed look and said" "only if our cook isn't slammed, If he doesn't have time, you'll have to have home fries". Her reply was the beginning of our crappy meal. When she brought our food MUCH later, she brought us, and I kid you not, what would have to be 3 tablespoon of lettuce w/ no dressing! When I asked her for dressing she said "what do you want, oil and vinegar"? upon which I responded "YES" almost at the top of my lungs. She returned with a cruet of vinegar and when I poured it on my greens a slimy string of what we called "vinegar snot" hung out over my greens! My friend then lost her appetite and never finished her meal. When I called our lovely waitresses attention to this matter she laughed and said she's be right back. Silly us assumed she would return with a new teeny weeny salad dressed properly this time or at least accompanied by FRESH vinegar, but she slammed down a tiny bowl (keep in mind this was 2 people asking for flavor on their salad) of white balsamic, no oil, no new salad, no apology. At that point I told her that I wasn't eating the salad the nasty vinegar had fallen on and that we would like our check. NEVER AGAIN! They've got to get rid of that girl. Management, if you are reading this: she's the brunette!

First time diner at building. Had a cheeseburger and fries. Enjoyed both a lot! Really good ingredients. Brought home a chicken sandwich for my wife (in their nifty "green" cardboard take-out container). She likes it! Tastes nice and fresh, perfectly cooked; high quality ciabata bread; good combination of flavors - peppers, balsamic, a touch of pesto. Price is where it should be. The design of the space is interesting, fun, comfortable. The staff were very nice, appealing, competent. This is a solid addition to the neighborhood. I was looking forward to giving my little review the title "Building in the neighborhood,by the neighborhood, for the neighborhood," but, sadly, i guess i don't get to give it a title.
after such a delightful time at building on bond, i returned with a friend who i had to coax out of the house and only managed to get him out in the cold with promises of how awesome this place is/was. emphasis on was. my first visit was unremittingly pleasant and great. the next time we walked in there were about 10 people lined up at the small bar who seemed to all know eachother or the owners or perhaps were the owners or maybe all or some just worked there. at any rate, everyone looked at us, stared for a moment and went back to their huddle. apparently there was no food, even though at this point, they were supposed to have a full menu in swing (and what happened to their 'abbreviated' menu that we had the week or two before?). but we only figured out they weren't serving food after another 6 minutes of us standing in the doorway, trying not to feel awkward and then finally getting a text from friends we were supposed to meet that they had encountered the same bizarro treatment and there was no food to be had. as much as i liked this place, i don't think i'll go back now. why risk it when it's cold outside? i'd rather go somewhere and be greeted like a human and guaranteed food. 'tis a shame, b on b!
