So I will openly admit this here and now: I F*&%#$G LOVE BUFFALO WILD WINGS!!! However, I do have reasons why I rate this particular establishment in Skokie with a 5 star rating. To begin with, there is plenty of ample parking at this particular location, along with multiple "take out" spots if you're looking for a place to quickly run in a grab food to go. The restaurant itself is clean, has plenty of places to sit and eat, and is loaded with sports memorabilia and televisions line the walls. One of the things that I love about this place is that they allow open seating in the bar, which is usually where I go to watch a game and have some food. They also offer deals during most nights, with my favorite being the boneless wing night on Thursdays. My personal favorite wing sauce: honey bbq- if you haven't tried it, you haven't lived. Other great ones are medium, asian zing, teriyaki, and parmesan garlic. The service here is prompt, friendly, and if you visit often they love to start chatting with you whenever they have an opportunity. And while you're waiting for your food- there is always the trivia game going on. The one drawback to this place is that you could be waiting for a little while for a table if you come while a game is happening. Other than that- come visit and have a great time!

I love the honey BBQ wings here! Great beer specials on the weekends are always a plus. I also love the fact they have wing specials on Monday and Thursday.
I give all BDUBS 3 stars because I HATE the fact that they charge extra for frickin' ranch dressing!!! SERIOUSLY??? It's ranch dressing! CHEAPSKATES! -

My son and I were at the Skokie location on monday night. I had my reservations about eating there due to my terrible past experiences. but we went ahead and ate there anyway before catching a movie. our waiter was jessie, he was great. he was friendly, attentive, and made a connection with my son which was nice. next time i go there i will definately be askiing for jessie as our waiter! P.S love the asian zing!!!!!

Very friendly hostess and wait staff on the last visit here...Wings are good...I always do the boneless with a medium hot sauce. The location here is the ticket, as it is right next door to a multiplex cinema and there is oodles of parking! This is my favorite BWW...worth the ride!

Went to Bdubs 9/18 about sixish....I had Stacy D as a server.
The food came out great although we were missing sauces and dips and I had to ask other servers to bring it....which I hate to do.
She seemed just not into it that day and maybe she had a bad day but she didn't check on us once. I constantly had to ask someone to grab her or wave her down.
We never received our wedges which we were fine with but she didn't even notice....

After multiple visits here throughout several years, I decided to never order anything else but the wings and appetizers. I've tried the burgers, chicken sandwiches, and salads...they weren't special and hey, they don't lose any points with me 'cause it's just not their thing. I love they have a wide variety of sauces for the wings and they always come to the table hot and within a good amount of time.

They are good. But nothing to write home about. They are wings with sauce after all. Went there with my mom to use a gift card.

Yum. Good location, good service, plenty of parking. Nice place to have lunch after watching a movie next door. Fun, friendly. I want my fantasy league to have our draft there this season.
Lots of screens, some games, typical BW3 set up. Good times. -

My hubs and I love coming to Buffalo Wild Wings!!! Great food, good service, reasonably priced. This location is perfect, especially since it's next to the movie theaters. There's tons of parking space available.
My husband loves their chicken strips but I lean more towards their chicken ceasar wraps. But we always start the meal off with their delicious mozzarella sticks!!! -

So my friend and I went to bbw for the big college football game (bama v lsu and if you didnt know bama murdered lsu....ROLLTIDE!!! Yes I'm from Alabama if your wondering lol) and had a great time! The wings nice and hot, fried pickels on point, and one of the servers.....great eye candy lol. My friend wanted to smoke so we stepped outside to her for about 10 mins and when we came back they accidentally cleaned our table. The manager came over and apologized about the mishap and we got some more wings and were discounted 10% of our ticket. I really appreciated that. Its sucks I dont live in the burbs because I would come back to this place more often!

This place is good. There's no denying it.
I had gone into B-Dubs for a quick bite to eat before our movie started at the theater next door. When we walked in, we asked where we should sit for the fastest service, and the host at the front recommended sitting in the bar area. The service was super-fast, and our waiter was very friendly and attentive. We were in and out with plenty of time to catch our movie.
For an appetizer, my husband and I split the Chicken Quesadilla. It was pretty good. Nothing remarkable, but it was good. It's doesn't come with sour cream, so we had to ask for it, but I guess that's OK. For my entree, I had the Buffalo Chicken Wrap. It was tasty (I really love their wraps!) but it does have a bit of a kick to it, so beware.
Overall, I think Buffalo Wild Wings is a great pre-movie option for a quick bite to eat. Will definitely go back. -

60 cent boneless wing Thursdays - all the taste, none of the work. Sure, bone-in tastes better but sometimes I just feel lazy. They have Dos Equis on tap AND they weren't cheap about it and gave me 2 lime wedges.
Our server was a bit slow though, probably because it'd just started to pick up when we got there. Regardless, she was very nice and patient with us. -

I've been going here with my hubby two years now and we both love it.
Pros
Great bone in wings
Great Ribs
The best ever fried mushrooms
Good energy since everyone's in a good mood at a sports bar
Right next to the movies
2 people can eat under $30
Cons
Very busy all the time ( a good sign though)
Occasionally get a server who's having an off day -

I used to love it when it was BW3. I loved the variety of sauces and flavors.
Maybe it is this location, but the food and service stinks.
The first time I go, we wait forever for someone to take our drink order let alone our meal order. We order a round of wings and there is barely any sauce plus the chicken in dry and skimpy. I come mainly for the sauce, so I was very disappointed. Why was it that we ordered wings yet only got one napkin for two people? It took forever to ask for more napkins and that was slow in coming.
The second time I go, i order the boneless wings and specifically told the waiter to go heavy on the sauce. He refers to it as "wet". So I say "Yes, as wet as possible". Why is it still barely much sauce? Unfortunately, the quality of the chicken is just as bad as the bone version. The quality of service in the same as before.
The third time around (yes, we are narcissistic) we order burgers and a wrap. Both are things I could have made at home and of mediocre quality. Also, our waffle fries were served cold and when we ordered a side of blue cheese (which we got charged for) we get ranch instead. We should have went next door to Red Robin instead. It wasn't worth it.
If I crave wings and want their variety of flavors; I buy a couple bottles of their sauces and make it at home. It is better service and more superior quality of food. -

We head here often for lunch. I'm a big fan of their wraps, their boneless and the apps. I tried the fried pickles the other day when I was feeling adventurous and LOVED them. I felt like a weirdo at first but now I have my friends hooked!
If you're not into crowds, avoid this place on any big game day if you want to sit in the bar area. People camp out waiting for a table to open up. It's not worth the wait!
As far as I know Monday is still boneless day and Tues is wing day... some good deals and a great place to grab some grub with friends. -

alright, i am usually not one to write a bad review but i can not help my self this time. i went to buffalo wild wings for the first time 3 weeks ago. it was on a sunday close to when they first opened. it was not busy at all but yet it took our waiter 20 min just to come up to us and introduce himself and take our drink orders. i mean really? i was ready to leave after 10 min of no service. i decided to come back the following week as i was craving the mild boneless wings. i thought i'd give them another try to impress me. the waitress was rude and always in a hurry. i felt rushed when ordering my food. while i was waiting for our waitress to bring the check which took 15 min after i asked her for it she was standing by the bar with 3 other co workers chatting up a storm with them and they were ALL on their phones texting. i am sorry but there is a time and a place for everything and if i am not mistaken there are break times for that. all in all i will return but will always take my food to go.

What can I say about this place??? Hmmmm... usually pretty good food. The service is usually slow. I like the atmosphere, and sometimes get a taste for the honey wings.
I don't like that they charge for all extras, but hey, I guess that's just business. I would ask that the wait staff be better trained.
I will probably try a different location next time I get a taste for the honey wings. -

0.60 boneless wing Thursdays!!
Holler!
Best location for before or after a movie...
Went here with my girlfriend and Godson and this place hit the spot with
service and food!
Since I am def. a fan of the honey bbq boneless wings I could not resist the special for the day!
My Godson enjoyed the kids hot dog meal; He says it was good but the hot dog too small! lol
My girlfriend enjoyed the garlic parmesan boneless wings and the honey bbq as well!
Don't even get me started on wedges...they were so Yum
Staff towards the end could have been a bit more attentive I was waiting forever to get the bill and to get a receipt with my card...and the place was empty!
But overall....B Dubz you are the bestest!

A place that specializes in wings should have the best wings, or at least awesome wings, right?
I'd have to say the wings are just average at best.
Would I come back? Only if I was in the area watching a movie at Crown Theater. However, I think I'd rather Chucke E. Cheese across the street; don't they serve beer there also? -

I hope I don't get any heat (no pun intended) for reviewing a chain restaurant. I didn't realize how vast their empire reached until I clicked on their website. They are everywhere.... Well, except for Idaho. Sorry, Idaho.
This isn't my first time at a Buffalo Wild Wings, though. I've been to the location on Lincoln Ave. and it was just....ok. I decided to give the restaurant a second shot, in Skokie. Of course, we just happened to go on a night when both the Cubs AND White Sox were playing. Considering this place is really a sports bar pretending to be a restaurant, the half hour wait for a table wasn't much of a surprise.
The clientele is comprised of young college kids and sports fanatics at the bar. LOUD is the key word here. Now on to the food.
We ordered the Hot wings (not Blazin'... never again). He also ordered boneless wings, which is the lazy man's way of eating chicken. Blasphemy, I tell you. But I did eat a couple of them, since I'm no food snob ;)
The wings were ok. They weren't as crispy as I would have liked. And just like the Lincoln Ave. location, they are pretty stingy with the napkins and blue cheese dressing. But overall, they're decent wings and they are (thankfully) UNbreaded.Listed in: Beyond the city

Come here and sit at the bar if you have some time to kill before a movie. The bartenders and staff are really nice, and the other bar patrons are just typical people, not the scary frat boy or sloppy drunk type you might find at the BW3 in Lincoln Park.
I LOVE the boneless buffalo wings. Eating saucy wings with my hands grosses me out, so yes I use a knife and fork. The aptly titled "hot" is my favorite flavor. Watch out though, if you get a really hot sauce, you might drink more beer than you originally intended because you're trying to cool your mouth down. Oh beer... trying to decide between Red Stripe and Newcastle always kills me.
If there were a location closer to my home, I would be getting takeout ALLLLL the time.Listed in: A Slice of my Life, Wings!

I have been to this location a few times and it is fine. I have zero complaints and zero compliments. They serve wings and beer just like all the rest of the buffalo wild wings in the city. I will give the chain kudos because it doesn't matter which restaurant you go to you get the same quality food every time. They do have a nice draft selection of beers and lots of TV's for viewing sports. The wings are consistent and there is no doubt I will eventually be back again someday.

Going at the end of the night is like playing Russian Roulette. You can possibly get hooked up with more bleu cheese than you ordered and extra wings but you also have a LARGE risk of wings that have been sitting out, are dry, and not wet even if you order them that way. We ordered 50, 30 of which were dry as a bone. about the same were not so wet either. Just drippings like after you've finished a salad at the bottom of the Styrofoam. Moral of the story is - you're taking your chances.
And why is it that BW3's bleu cheese is WAY better than any bleu cheese you'd buy at Jewel!?Listed in: Wings

Everyone knows that I love chicken wings! And of course this isnt the first or the only Buffalo wild wings I visit...hahahahahha
As usual we shared a order of buffalo chips! with a tub of ranch on the side. yesssss you heard it right a tub of ranch.
I ordered my usual 12 wings. I opted for the Wild sauce this time as I wasnt in the mood to perspire and wipe sweat onto napkins. So yeah I didnt get the "Blazin" this time.
Word to all you gringos......."Blazin" really means Gringo killer sauce.
I mean its not that bad as the "Atomic" at wing stop......but still HOT!
Everything was awesome except that they brought out my wings with the sauce on the side......????? I dont know if they do this now for all orders or they did this because they tought Big brown(me) couldnt handle the heat. Cmon, Latino heat can handle the heat baby!!!!

I used to be a big fan of this chain in general. I liked going to one of their locations on Bears game day. I expected decent wings, decent service and a typical bar type atmosphere.
I am thinking that this was an isolated incident and I hope that it is not an indication of the places direction. I went and ordered takeout. It was a simple order of 12 Sweet BBQ wings. The sweet BBQ sauce was typically one of my favorites and one of the few that I would order. The sauce was VERY thick and had very little flavor to it. I was quite surprised and quite shocked as the substandard taste.
I was freaking starved so I ended up devouring the wings. I went at an off hour and the place was not very busy at all. I waited way too long for my wings. I sure hope that this was an isolated incident. I am not the biggest fan of this place but I would hate to have to write it off completely. -

I love B-dubs. Its a great place for the family, but more towards teens and young adults. Dont get me wrong, I love their chicken wings, but HEY! Dont'cha think they've been getting a little smaller....and smaller? Yeah...
I love their food. But now I always just get the chicken strips because they are quite large and juicy.
The Buzztime trivia really attracts the family. Different games and questions to see the smartest in the family.
Great service, great place, but the wings are gettin' smaller... -

This place is way to crowded on a Tuesday, I think it might be worth the extra money to not deal with all of the people and the slow service.
I love spicy food, and some of their sauces are pretty dang spicy. My favorite is the Mango Habanero, I like it on the wings and I usually get a side of it to dunk my potato wedges in. It has a bit of sweetness to cut the hot, but don't get me wrong my lips and mouth burn every time I eat it. If I was just rating the sauces, it would be a four star place. However, eating here is about as unhealthy as it gets, and it peeves me that a national chain wouldn't have nutritional information available.Listed in: Two aspirin and a mound of…

Cute suburban location. went there to watch the bears game on Sunday. IT WAS PACKED! so we ended up ordering it to go. There are screens all over the place. great place to watch the game and eat some great food. got the potato wedges and honey bbq wings. MMMMM YUMMY! service for me was quick and fast. but my friend who ordered before me and had the same order as me, received his order long after mine. i didnt mind b/c i was watching the game. but i think he wanted to go watch the game in the comfort of his own home.
i really like the honey bbq wings (my fave). the HOT are REALLY HOT. so watch out. and the potato wedges are pretty good. -

Oh yeah....love their wings and their levels of hotness. So good! the only thing I wish they would offer is some kind of garlic bread or bread to go with their wings. Oo and I don't like their fries. I'm just not a potato wedge kind of girl.
Restaurant itself is nice....can get kind of crowded but its pretty cool. They also have that trivia game there that you play with other people in the restaurant. -

Pretty good location. I can't really complain. It is a chain of course, but this location has always given me pretty good service. The wait, no matter how busy the place is, always goes by pretty quick. You can't beat the wings, as they are delicious with the variety of sauces offered.
As well, the other foods are great. From the chicken sandwiches and wraps to burgers. Good location, right next to the movie theatre! Have a bite to eat and catch a flick, or the other way around - you can't go wrong. -

Where the Wild wings are.
Without a doubt the absolute best wing sauce I've had to date. The WILD sauce is hot and spicy without overpowering the loads of flavor hidden behind that fiery guise.
With a name like Buffalo Wild Wings you'd be crazy to try any thing but... or would you? On a recent lunch trip I decided to buck the system and go in a totally different BW3 direction. As you can see in my profile picture, I ordered a hamburger. Why would I do that? I must be temporary insanity. Or maybe, just maybe, it is because I could get it topped with pulled pork and onion rings.
Yeah, that's the clincher. Meat topped with more meat then topped again with deep fried onion love. I am a convert. My wildest dreams could not have concocted a more delicious combination than a juicy hamburger topped with pulled pork smothered in WILD sauce (my choice, you will have yours) then topped with onion rings. Did I mention the bleu cheese? Do I really need to?
It used to be easy eating here; order the wings. Now I will have to take my time and consider the other savory options at this joint.
BW3. Not just for wings anymore.Listed in: Burger Love

I am a staple in this fine place on the weekends. I try to make it in at least once a week. This place has become my favorite hang out location. It is near where I live and it's great in accommodating decent size groups of 10 to 15 people. What is better then kicking it with the fellas while watching a game, snacking on those fantastic wings, by the way Caribbean Jerk is my Fav, & tipping back a few for only $40 a head? This place also works if you want to keep it simple on a date with some drinks and good eatin'. I know at times I could be cheap! Sorry to all the lovely ladies that caught me a bad week, money wise! Nevertheless it is in a great location with a theater next door, in case you want to grab a bite and a show, tons of parking & outdoor seating for those nice summer days! I hope all you guys enjoy this place as much as I do.

I've been here once. Maybe I'm just not a wings person, but I did not enjoy it. The most enjoyable part of my meal was the free refills on my diet coke. My girlfriends dragged me here one night to have a girls eating fiesta.
The chicken is very dry, and it's mostly bone. Everything is DRENCHED in sauce. In fact, that's all you taste - hot sauce, teriyaki, garlic, etc. I ended up eating the celery and carrots dipped in bleu cheese. Service is what you'd expect. Rude, gum smacking and says "like" every fourth word or so.
However, the food came out pretty fast, which makes me think they just keep everything under heaters until someone orders it. -

Of the chain restaurants within Village Crossing and/or near there(and including the former Romano's Macaroni Grill, and Bennigan's slightly west of here), this has continued to be my favorite one BY FAR. I used to come here a lot back when it first opened and when I used to work in the Village Crossing area, and though I don't work in the area anymore, still have continued to come back again and again over the approximate 5 years it's been in business.
My last visit here continued the trend of how much I love this place. Went here with my brother the night the Sox broke the tiebreaker with the Twins and clinched the AL Central title, was quoted a 40-45 minute wait, but was rewarded for my patience in the end(and not having to run out for a smoke to make the wait go easier, lol!) by only having to wait under half that time(15-20 min.).
I don't think I'll say much about BW3(or it's various shortened nicknames I've seen it go by), and stick to my fav things/aspects about it. The servers for the most part at this location are decent, great variety of sauces(approx. 15 types), and of course wings. For whatever reason, I'm usually drawn to their other food much more than their wings, especially their pulled pork sandwich, quesadillas, and burgers. The 15ish sauces you can add onto most of their burgers and/or sandwiches especially make the sandwiches + burgers great!
Finally, have to give a thumbs-up to this BW3 location's rule(and what Jacob mentioned) of not allowing kids in the bar area after 9-10pmish! -

Came here and ordered "Crispy Southwest Dippers" to start, they are described on the menu as having "tortillas", but let me tell you when they came out, they looked sad... could tell they were completely taken out of a frozen box and popped into the deep fryer.
Had wings & Chicken legs both of which were fried to the point of no return. Completely dried out. Lifeless
My wife got the wrap, which also sucked, everything in the wrap was completely overpowered by the sauce, because they completely drenched it.
I sent an e-mail to corporate that the food sucked (this was about a month ago), and i completely got a call out of the blue from the manager today and he told me that if I had brought it up to a manager when I was in the restaurant, it would have been taken care of.
He didn't seem to understand that "comping" my appetizer wasn't the point. It doesn't matter what concession he made to me, nothing was going to change, because he is powerless to make a change at the corporate level. The same shitty food will be served over and over, regardless of who complains. As long as people continue to go, they'll keep pumping out the same shit... -
Review from Nina I.
Me, my boyfriend, and one of my friends went in for a drink one night because it was the only place in the area open late enough to get a drink since we had a mini celebration before her birthday later that week for turning twenty one.
We decided to sit at the bar instead of a table. As you probably guessed this is where it goes downhill. Before I complain though I would like to give a little background on the reasoning behind my perspective of the night. Me and my boyfriend are extremely pleasant people and not to tune my own horn but we are rarely disliked and in turn we try to be disappointed in people as little as possible. This case wasn't any different so as soon as we sat down we were expecting a pleasant evening (while my friend was indifferent). Our experience began unpleasantly not because of our attitude but rather the bartender. She took 15 minutes to acknowledge us, much less greet us, because instead she was doing her closing work hours before they were due to close... but me and my boyfriend, being waiters, were understanding that some times you want to have everything ready as early as possible so you can go home as soon as possible (of course those are excuses because as a waiter you should never jeoperdise a guest's experience for your own convenience). Be as it may when she finally looked at us we could make up our minds on drinks so we asked for a menu. For some reason that annoyed her, but we ignored that as well.
After about seven minutes we were still indecisive so as you can probably guess that if we didn't know she was annoyed by now, the rolling of her eyes was enough to prove it even to a blind man. It was just too dramatic. Finally we ordered our preffered drinks and decided that we wanted a snack. It took her another fifteen minutes for a menu and additional scoffs due to our indecisiveness....
My point is: if you don't want to deal with people, then get a different job because I felt so unwanted that I'm not willing to spend my money there again any time in the near future. -

Love the Tuesday night wing special. .40 wings..........and $3.75 big old cold Miller Lite Drafts! Great to go and hang out with the guys and watch some games and eat some wings! gotta love the Spicey Garlic wings.......and i dare you to try the Blazin' Hot wings!
only negatives......they charge for everything extra......celery, ranch dressing........and never bring enough napkins. But our waitress was awesome and on the ball, so she got a nice fat tip!
place is pretty clean.......friendly staff......fast service. I will be back...........
